U.K nigerians are the most broke nigerians i have ever met, so broke they cant even buy their own drink , na waoo see how their eye they always shine when home based nigerians are spending money. its better for you to hursle in nigeria than U.k . anytime i meet a nigerian that lives in U.K the first thing that comes to my mind is heyaaaa |
kingoflag: Btwn Them and the Igbos, I don't know who's a bigger dreamer for this presidency.we shall see about that, you yorubas only have 3 options, allow GEJ you hate soo mch and call retardeen to continue, vote an igbo president or vote an hausa/fulani president. for us igbos theres only one option and thats vote an igbo candidate |
al-ahamad:really what have you done with over 30 years, at least the south is still ahead of the north within this 2.5 years, the north ruled for over 38 years and what did we get ? backwardeness, i think north should concentrate on internal problems especially boko harem ,religious violence and illiteracy and leave national maters out for now, trust me its for your own good , aso rock will distract you. |
philip0906: and that is an acheivement rigt? 7000 out of millions out there? last time i checked, unemployment is still @ its peak.or u want to counter that? Or d'u think the Obama administration did not add any jobs?we dont have a system of tracing where they are jobs and where there are no jobs so we cant say if its worse or if its getting better (maybe those guys from joober man will have a better idea about it)but we can all agree that more people are graduating from from school. the truth is that if CBN continues with its policy of high interest rate for borrowers and if parents keep discouraging their children from going into entrepreneurship we will never get it right. |
DerMeister: Look at nigga spouting rubbish, is it not the same president/party who selects useless governors (who by the way don't know what the word governor means)... and then you ask people: do you know what a governor's duty is or a LG boss's duty is? Are they not "gifted" to us by the same hapless president as favours for political thuggery or something equally nefarious...dont confuse us, ACN won almost all SW states and if i remember its the opposition party ,same with APGA even ACN won PDP in benin. |
kingoflag: Negro shut the fc*uk up and bounce from my face with that SNC nonsense. Who's going to represent the people in the Conference, these same thieving Politicians? Edvin Clark, Adamu Ciroma, Akala and co?that is why we can never be on the same page, well go ahead with the coup ode. tell us your state and what your governor have done with the money it receives? what does your state contribute to the nation? mumu , like i said nigerians are very insultive by nature dont think before they talk or type. |
kingoflag: What if I say things like :IT IS better we have a SNC than a military coup.this country wont survive another coup ,of course am in support of anything that will take us back to regional govt or seperation. |
deandavid: are u high? Wat will b gej's job then, if he cnt provide light, security, good transport system, quality education, dn he shuld resign. Y shuld i pay tax, d 1 i have been payin wat happend to dm? Whr is abacha's returnd loots, y shouldn't he fast a day and use dat mney to do sumtin 4 nigerians, i say u dy mad. If i dy wit u f2f, i 4 don press ur neck.your a joke , first these decay we are facing today started since independence , federal roads maybe the job of federal govt (FERMA) but transportation and states roads are the responsibility of your state govt and residents of your state(getting people to invest in transportation industry after all people like ABC,EKENE ,ARIK dont have 3 heads besides some states have good transportation system, buses ,taxis ,keke etc). security is the reason why some people are demanding for state police so it can be managed properly while some people are against it especially northern governors and how bakassi which was very effective eliminated by opposition parties rather than regulate it so its political. we are still watching the transformation in the electicity sector. as for quality education its not something you generalize cause most of those schools are owned by we the private sector. theres a rot in the society but you cant solve them by abusing people rather pointing them out , cus the challenges you are facing might not be the same with another city or state thats why we can never all agree therefore there can never be a revolution just like during subsidy protest and when it comes to voting new people . it will be best for us to use nairaland and come to common grounds then distracting ourselves abusing GEJ. |
MacLovington: .do you know if you start with your state you will never have to complain again, after all peter obi at some point used state money to build federal road in anambra and later collected the money back from federal govt. i wish he will do the same with 2nd onitsha bridge and bill the federal govt, one thing we can all agree on is that federal govt always release funds to state if they demand for it. do you know your state govt have to power to bring in investors to deal with issues of light, water even security if you people are willing to pay tax. i believe some state govts are getting away with not doing their job while GEJ takes the blame. |
kingoflag: Very, very true!then lets pressure him to reduce the cost of feeding after all he met it like not its not as if he put it himself, obasanjo and yaradua got the same amount, as for subsidy throw that away in the dust bin its political some sections where against it while others where in support . states like anambra that were building the first private refinery of course will support local production while some people did not see why a few people will be collecting billions in the name of importing fuel when we can channel the money to local production. |
Kobojunkie: How can electricity improve whenlight have improved in some areas like enugu and some parts of rivers i can vouch for , so i believe theres progress, its left for us to follow up with who ever phcn was handed over to and what they are doing. just as mobile network is bad in some areas and good in others such things should be be directed at people responsible for it with of course getting the attention of federal govt to put pressure on them. |
babestella: Ms Pain may be right, at least from all standard, no president in this world have ever taken the citizens for a ride like our presidents and leaders do here thinking that we are all fools. anyway, if ms. pain wants constructive and positive responses from the masses through social media, then it is high time someone told GEJ Nigerians cannot be fooled all the time, we are wiser now and thanks to the internet, lots of Nigerians and people globally are empowered with information.that started with obasanjo adminstration and 1999 constitution which some people tried to fight then . anyway its not something we can insult GEJ on after all he did cut it down sometime ago but we can pressure for it to be cut down even more but if we must succeed we should be ready to support him because the house wont succumb without a big fight(they are already intimidating him with impeachment). |
maclatunji: No! You want to know what massive reconstruction is, go to the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. Now, that is what I call "massive reconstruction". What is happening on Apapa-Oshodi expressway is an insult to Nigerians. The rate of work done so far is slow and not very impressive when compared to what happened to Agege Motor road, Western Avenue and Lagos Island Central Business District (CBD).maybe you can help find out who or the company handling the construction, if possible their contacts that way we can harrass them and find out if the problem is from federal govt not realising funds or from them trying to be shady and lazy. |
MacLovington: This Sarah Pain "in the azz" must be laptop 007.if we keep going on like this we will never get a leader who will account to us , we need to know what exactly our personal or community grudges are then be sure whose responsibility it is. |
Biggyd2: My dear, I have said my piece. If you think that it the job of the state governors to move this country forward, please advise your president, to continue to fold his hands and let them do so for him. You have your opinion and I have mine. I believe strongly that GEJ had an idea of the troubles in Nigeria when he decided to take over as president. If he knew that he will be overwhelmed by them why did he take over the rulership of this country? Ruling Nigeria is not a moi moi and akara business. In as much as I don't like OBJ, he didn't wait for state governors to take critical decisions for him. Nigeria before or now does not deserve a leader that rotates like a proverbial barber's chair. I love my country very much and will like to come to NL to proudly say lovely things about it. I believe you do as well. Our deferences lie in the ways of achieving that. You have stated your opinion earlier and I did mine. My prayer is that the powers that be get to read our comments. Thanks for your comment.some states are moving foward while some are going back to stone age ,why is that so? lets be reasonable , most of the things i wish for nigeria will never happen and its not because of GEJ but because of religious, cultural and politacal differences of our people , for example SNC will solve a whole lot of nigerias problem , now another state for the south east guess those opposing it? yea not GEJ but other regions , who are those opposing 100 derivation for niger deltans? who are those making sure that ACN dont succeed in southwest? religious killing ? , even curruptionj is not only at the govt level, if your governors do their jobs you wont even remember theirs a president. |
Rexious: then he should tackle the ones that would have positive impact on the citizenrylist what you and your community grudges are, most of federal govt responsibilities may not make impact to everybody , remember nigerians are divided we are not of same culture or religion , example some people are demanding that nysc be scrapped while others are fighting for it to continue and that is why killing of corp members will continue in the north and thers nothing gej can do because these people can start their killing any second. for me i want the 2nd niger bridge to be completed and also enugu international airport , most other problems are from state govt and organisations that are not living up to their responsibilities even when govt gives them all the funds they require. |
maclatunji: The supporter said Oshodi-Apapa Expressway is an achievement of GEJ. Is it not the same road that the service lane from Cele bus stop to Second Rainbow bus stop has been abandoned by motorists and has now been colonized by mushroom driving schools who use it as a "safe" training ground for their clients because they are sure no vehicle commuting can make progress there?depends on where you live , one thing for sure is that electricity is improving in some parts of nigeria while in getting worse in others, we should be more concerned on why that is so ,such complaints should go to the people responsible for it since they privatized it , just like you go to MTN office to complain of network failuer and if they dont resolve it you go to the govt body responsible for regulating them. |
edogram.:he was sworn in may 2011 dont derail this thread. |
Biggyd2: Dear Madam "Pain", hasn't it occurred to you, that just maybe, your boss is doing the wrong things? Why is it difficult for you people in government to accept that you have wronged the masses. How many of the promises made by your boss to the masses during his campaign has he kept so far? You prefer to live in denial that all is well with the government and the rulers. Since the opposite is obtainable in reality, you people have to bear the consequences. Your boss professes to be internet savvy, doesn't he so you don't need a psychic to tell you that people will believe that by using the internet, the rulers just might hear their cries. My advise to you madam is to tell your oga to sieve through these 'insults' and find out what the problems of his people are and deal with them. Come back thereafter to inform us whether or not the "insults" stopped. For you, Mr. Mark, Mr. ruby e.t.c that are now carrying the propaganda of people using the social networks for insults, please just keep quiet and continue chopping your armed robbers salary because one day soon, you will all be flushed out of government.can you list exactly what your grudges or your communities grudges are, where you reside etc , most of the things most of us are crying abut are actually not the job of GEJ or even federal government , some of them are the responsibility of your state govt, the residents of the stae, organisations etc. its impossible for GEJ to tackle every single thing happening in every corner of the country. example even past dictators and colonial masters could not stop muslims killing christians, community land tussles etc ,only religious leaders and traditional leaders can stop that |
Beaf: Those that insult the President sound like fools who were brought up in the gutter, anyway.insulting them back will only worsen it, infact you should take more of the blame because you have not been updating and educating us on what the federal government is really doing most nairalanders dont reside in nigeria so they only judge based on things they read online and on social media like this, for those of us that live in enugu things are improving our challenges now is employment, more investment and some other things that have little or nothing to do with FG. |
dedeike: Corruption can never be the highlights of this administration. This administration has blazed the trail in anti corruption crusade.this is the kind of discussions we need on nairaland , most of us are not really follwing whats happening ,everybody is shouting nobody is listning. can you open a thread on this and give us more deatils so that those that disagree can also come out with their facts. |
Sun of god: To be fair 30% of the insults hurled at GEJ are because of the thieving illiterate wife he married.the insults are distracting us from knowing what exactly is happening, it is very distracting, negative criticism is better than insults because you criticize with facts and the other party can counter it with facts that way everybody can get along and be aware of what is happening. none of the people insulting him can tell you what exactly he has done and what he has not done. |
Johnprinceugo: most of d ppl just talk witout reasoning, dey tok because odas have talked, dey wont get 2 d root cause of d problem. Did nigeria's problem start with gej? Even d insecurity u r about 2 mention is it not a plot 2 sabottage his administration by a section of blood thirsty n power hungry sacred cows? Well i blame him 4 not descending on dose ppl even if it amounts 2 him loosing his lyf.true if anybody should be mad at it its the niger deltans cus that is where all the so called looted moneys coming from ,if he leaves office without giving them at least 80 percent derivation, cleaning up the niger delta and giving them more voices and people in the federal govt then he has inded failed his people. every other state should be interested in what their governor is doing with the money given to them by federal govt and the resources they have in their states. also the youtths should chanel the insults to demanding for SNC because nigeria will never be better with the amount of tribalism going on even if u put an angel as president it wont stop the religious killing of christians and the fighting of where president should come from plus federal character while admitting student and employment etc, there are soo many problems in nigeria that have its root on tribalism and how the country was set up rather than who and what the president is doing. i laugh when some people call him clueless, it is us the youths that are clueless not him. |
IYA NGBALI: I am a student and i also hawk in the night,as in i use what i have to get what i need.I HAVE TO SURVIVE. ![]() |
thats makes nigerians the most insultive people on earth |
NIGERIANS are insultive by nature imagine when your in charge of 160million insultive people that lack respect and wag their tongue ,thats fire for you , anyway GEJ is just unlucky to be president at the time use of internet and social network became common in nigeria .other leaders got theirs to but social media was not this common then. the country is just too large and over populated for one man (who is not a dictator)to be incharge. |
the more nigerian girls marry outside the better cus there are just too many single girls in nigeria even when nigerian men have more than enough so the AA and caribbean men will be doing us a favour. however with the baby mama culture and commitment phobia of AA and caribbean men i doubt if they will get along with nigerian girls, infact white men will get along easier. |
juicymoney: hi friends, i just graduated from the university and about doing my nysc service, my only problem i never knew wat it is lyk being in love, or maybe is it becos i'm scared of heart breaking ladies .,pls guys i need ur help 2 help me hook up with a nice girl dat stays in lagos 4 a serious relationship, she can hook me up wit dis number 08065668538, i just pray my wish is granted here, add me up on 2go wit dis number 2, thanks for ur concernwith a face is like that i doubt, go and make lots of money then maybe she will love you for your money and try to be very nice to people too. |

yoruba on yoruba crime , wetin concern us |
spyder880: Sir, I am not a fake person. For choosing to embark on the things I am doing, it was borne out of pure love for my people, the Igbo people. I cannot like or hate any part better than the other.bad marketing , your building houses in these cities yet you show only bad side of them but you want people to ome and buy houses there? does that make sense? do you se france advertising their ghetto side while leaving nice part out. do you know there are more ghettos in united states than in nigeria but do you see cnn showing them . what your doing is shooting yourself, imagine even bringing rochas into it, i bet this is how we are going to achieve presidency in 2015. |

Na so dem take tell us say refinery capacity don grow, only for us to now find out say two refineries don stop since January and the one's wey dey work, dey work at about 25%, about the same levels as back in 2005, before the government embarked on spending billions of dollars to improve capacity oo.
