kingoflag: Oh My God, another freaking fo*ol comes out of nowhere. WTF?! Were you guys dropped on your heads as babies?

You guys are a disgrace and if I had a way of identifying you I'd request that you get castrated because you don't deserve to be known as men!
yes violence is usually your response when people dont agree with you , we already know that.

ndu_chucks: It is this kind of political immaturity that guarantees that y'all are going nowhere anytime soon. You people need to learn how strange bedfellows can usher in a winning situation. Watch out for 2015 and learn.
and i see how your political maturity made you the poorest region in africa, if that is maturity according to gworo chewing nama like you then your indeed a cow besides who wants a strange bed fellow that will wake up one morning to start killing women and children and burning churches down , thanks but no thanks , darkness and light can never mix.

ndu_chucks: You sound like a very ungrateful goat which has being allowed to eat small garri from the stand, but decides to come back 10 more times for additional garri. olodo.

Eze, your stance is not helping your brothers who make at least 30times more money from the Northern parts of the country than they do in alaigbo. You may not be able to deal with the response you'll get by being disrespectful to your guests. Igboland is not big enough to accommodate all of you. Be wise.
my friend shut the Bleep up you illiterate, thats why you people need to get back to school , just listen to yourself, the same north that is the poorest region in africa while igboland rank the least with poverty in nigeria, ignorant cow, i dont blame you ,your more interested on how to keep killing christians.

kingoflag: Yes, disintegration will bode everyone well if it would mean people like yourself and other intolerant folks are kept away from more tolerant folks.

Dude, when visitors/Minorities are on your land you sometimes should give them special preference just to make them have a sense of belonging. You think New York City was foo*lish to allow a Mosque build close to the site of Ground Zero whilst refusing the same permit for a Church?

You guys will never learn. I just hope theres a way South East and Northern Nigeria can be separated from the rest of Nigeria because majority of you are just low on tolerance and without tolerance peace will never reign.
yea we see how northerners are promoting peace by slaughtering women and childre in jos, blowing up churches and klling christiand and southerners, i say shove your peace in your ass.
PoliticsRe: Re: Plan To Demolish Mosque In Onitsha(pic) by bashr8: 5:02am On Aug 06, 2012
ndu_chucks: A more sensible solution is to provide a grant to be used to upgrade the mosque and beautitify the neighborhood. If a road must pass through the mosque's current location, you negotiate quietly with the owners of the mosque, relocate them in a dignified manner to a mutually agreed upon area, and compensate them handsomely for any inconvenience.

It does not require complex rocket scientific calculations to do this.
yea like how you compensate christians in the north after blowing them and their churches to pieces

Beaf: I have never seen such schools (except abandoned ones) even in rural areas. I agree though that the matter should not be over politicised.

Why is it that Ogun state is always in the frame though? It points to a systemic failure in my opinion.
Here's a vid on the same issue, the villagers actually use the school as a toilet:

Kobojunkie: There is no state in that country that exempt from this problem. East, West, North or South, you have them a-plenty. So it is not an OGUN only issue . . it is a Nigeria issue.
that is not true.

OBJ we hail thee, this is the legacy you left for your state after 8 years.

These are some of the pupils of Obafemi Owode Local Government Primary School in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. This dilapidated classroom ranks as the worst class rooms to study. It is dangerous learning environment for children.

Dede1: I was born and raised within the close vicinity of areas in discuss. Eleme is not Ogoni land. An Eleme person considers it an insult to call him or her an Ogoni. I suggest you dust off certain historical books.
eleme is mostly ogoni ,dont confuse it with elele unless your refering to residents. anyway no matter what they are they are not considered part of igbo speaking rivers state so it is not our buisness who they are.
PoliticsRe: Ogoniland Declares Independence!!! by bashr8: 4:43pm On Aug 03, 2012
NAJALYN: @bashr8, you refered to me as 'silly barbarian.' Its unfortunate. Know that when one points accusing finger at someone the remaining four are pointing at him/her. You are congratulating the Ogoni people for declaring independence. You were probably not born during the nigeria/biafran war, hence you are in support of the Ogoni's. God will intervene and avert anymore wars.
if the first thing that came to your mind is war or sending federal troops there then your indeed a babarians because federal troops dont go to sip tea when they are dispatched , even if your against it there are more humane ways to show it like an SNC alternative. the truth is that anybody that thinks a group of people dont deserve freedom is a babarian.

Woman tied to bed and set on fire by lover

Juliana, the mother of 21-year-old Tolu Esuola, who was found burnt to death on her bed in Oyo, Oyo State, on July 24, has said that Kunle, the suspect arrested in connection with the incident, was seen in the house on the fateful day by her neighbours.

The woman, who spoke with our correspondent in Oyo on Thursday, said, “Some of our neighbours told me they saw Kunle in our house that day. Juliana said Kunle had impregnated her daughter but terminated it, resulting in a frosty relationship between the duo.

She told PUNCH Metro, “Kunle was like our son. My husband took him in about four years ago after we converted him from Islam to Christianity. He began going to church with us.
“We did everything for him as if he was our son. I was shocked when I was told that he had impregnated her.”
Juliana, however, said Kunle was sent out of the house after he beat up Tolu following a disagreement.
She said her husband bought a motorcycle for Kunle to use for commercial purposes after he lost his job and wanted to commit suicide.

She said, “One day Tolu’s sister sent N10, 000 to her through Kunle’s account and he refused to deliver it.
“When I demanded the money, he flared up and stormed out of the house. Tolu went to him and challenged him for acting that way. But he beat her terribly.

“Since that day, I washed my hand off him. I went to where he was staying and collected the key of the motorcycle my husband gave to him.”
Juliana said the night Tolu died, she had gone to the farm with her other children and asked Tolu to stay home for household chores.

Tolu’s uncle, Mr. Ranti Esuola, said some time ago, Kunle came to him and reported the ill-treatment meted out to him by Tolu’s mother.
Ranti said, “He told me he was angry and that he would deal with Tolu because she did not want him to succeed in life.
“I was surprised he could be saying things like that to me. When I asked him what Tolu did, he said she went to report him to the father of another girl he was dating.

“I think he was about to secure a loan from the father of that same girl. He was working for the man and dating his daughter at the time.

“But immediately Tolu reported to the man that he was having a romantic relationship with his daughter, he decided not to help Kunle anymore. He was really angry he lost the opportunity to secure that loan.”
A neighbour and family friend of the Esuola family, Mr. David Oshotolu, told our correspondent that the day before the incident, Tolu was with him and his wife when Kunle called her that he would visit her the next day.
Oshotolu said, “We were alerted to a fire at the house and firefighters were called. When we realised that she had died in the fire, my mind went straight to Kunle. I knew he had said he was coming that day.

“When we called him, I was shocked when he said he was at Minna. I told some other people to call him and he said he was in Lagos. He kept giving different locations.”

Oshotolu said his suspicion was confirmed when a bus driver told them he dropped Kunle in Oyo that day.
He said he saw that the ankle and the wrist of the corpse were tied with cable wire when they were carrying the body.

“The wire had melted. We were all shocked. There was no sign that she moved from the bed. She could have been killed before the fire,” Oshotolu said.
However, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Tambari Muhammed, said on Thursday that Kunle was being interrogated.
