460 was artificial suppression, not the real value of Naira, this new rate reflects a stable market and allows less dependence on black market. The goal is to eventually allow the market to dictate most of the Naira's value instead of the government.

Before we all get carried away with the media propaganda, here are the summary of Tinubu's government to date:

1. Fuel subsidy is removed and you will buy fuel for 500 to 900naira per liter (depending on the exchange rate). The savings will be looted like that of kerosene and diesel. There will be no commensurate succor/ palliative for your suffering. Instead of going after the subsidy thieves and stopping the smuggling across boarders, they have transferred the responsibility to the helpless Nigerian people.

2. Naira has been devalued (though they call it floating). The FG has handed over the exchange to the market forces where speculators and banks are king. Naira continues to fall in the I/E and parallel market. Anybody who tells you Naira will appreciate is a joker, for a corrupt country like ours, the banks and speculators are the new cabal and will drive the rates how they deem fit. Don’t believe…. Just observe. What most don’t get now is that CBN now has no obligation to provide FX at a particular rate to the market, as such the new FG players can access FX from CBN without noise.

3. FG funding for tertiary education has been removed. Students will pay upwards of 400K tuition fee starting next session. A lot of students will drop out and cannot complete their education anymore. The so-called student loan will be almost impossible for an average student without connection to access. Guess what happens to the savings from this funding…. To be looted by the same people who have impoverished the nation.

4. Electricity tariff have been increased (without increased production) and will take effect from July 1st. This is a death knell to small and medium scale businesses. You are now stuck between the devil (PMS at 550naira per liter) and the blue sea (extra expensive electricity tariff).

5. All the FG has done so far is abandon almost all responsibilities it has over the people through the bills being signed since May 29. All Tinubu has done is to make available funds to be shared by him and his goons at the expense of the people. Not a single bill or action aimed at ameliorating the suffering of the already downcast Nigerian people rather adding to the pain in the guise of elitist policies

6. Guess what…. None of these policies have any impact on the political class and they have not made a single sacrifice. Same old political criminals are back in power, Gbaja, Akume, Asari Dokubo etc and you expect any real change apart from increased suffering?. How do you expect Tinubu to pay back the these same criminals who supported him into power?

The pastor should know that he can't leave his wife untouched for such lengthy periods especially when he is around. How can he neglect his marital duties? ... how can he counsel his married church members that come to him for guidance? Even if he wasn't aware... his wife brought it to his attention ... how can he not try to satisfy her... but instead allow his junior brother to be alone with her? ... a young buck and a Hot sex starved young lady alone under the same roof ?Nature does not sleep. I think its right time US start coming to term with the fact that they are no longer world power. We are now in a multi-polar world where every one is a king.

They cant keep warmongering around, sponsoring wars in different continent at the detriment of their citizens. They keep sending billions of dollar of military aid to Ukraine, and yet, Russia keeps smoking them all. Billions of US taxpayers money flush down the drain. Again and Again.

Over time , we've had the Persian empire, Spanish Empire, Ottoman Empire, Mongol Empire, Ummyyad Caliphate as world power. We've even witnessed the British empire and German empire which at one time dominated the world. The US should accept reality too. Nothing last forever. The world is now becoming a multi-polar world.

Forcing LGBTQ on weak nations, rallying other partners-in-crime countries from EU and NATO to sanction Africans countries by stopping trade with them when they reject the demonic way of life; does not make one a world power, it is an act of bullying.

Also, US need to know that; Instigating, Sponsoring, and funding different wars even when they are exceeding their debt limit is an act of desperation, more of last kicks of a dying horse.
Just like the other 'ex-world powers' aforementioned, US time as world power is up. It is reality and happening fast.

Counter argument to ' cbn do not have enough dollar's statement: I learnt we have roving btw 32Bn to 34 Bn usdin our reserved. Deduct 2Bn USD into the market to play kalo-kalo market forces and surprisingly seen how dollars and naira will find there level to the favour of Naira in 14days, with healthy outlook in all indices more FPF, FDI will flow in to the country and we experience wonder boom once again just like when obj recorded 15% GDP growth in 2002. This i can see the long term impact of Jagaban matrix in economy of prosperity galore.

But guess where the problem is?


CBN doesn't have enough dollar to meet Nigerians' usd demand, remember we are an import dependent country.


What it means is that Nigeria doesn't earn enough FX through export to meet up with the dollar demand of Nigerians, which means many Nigerians will be going to Aboki for dollar and Aboki will be determining the rate based on demand of dollar for the day, and this will definitely lead to uncontrolled crash of Naira value against USD.



I commend Tinubu for this good dollar floating policy, but it would have been better done after putting certain things in place to ensure CBN earns or have enough dollar to supply to all banks to sell to Nigerians.



One of those things that would earn us more FX and also reduce our FX outflow is putting our local refineries in working condition and leasing them out to private entities to run for Nigeria to reduce importation of petrol which gulps most of our FX. While fixing the national refineries, Dangote's refinery will also be ready and both combined would solve our importation of petrol which consumes majority of Nigeria's FX.
