In fairness to Cutler, he is not working with a great set of receivers, and the O-line was built for a running game. Hester ids the best WR they have and he is nothing special compared to the first WR on other teams.

Chicago need to retool the offense from a running offense to a pass offense. Without the draft choices (which they traded for cutler) the need to look for rough gems in free agency and undrafted. The could use someone like the colt's polian who seems to have an inner eye for such.

I still feel they should start with the offensive coordinator and QB coach, and then retool downwards. They might as welll gamble all the way on cutler.

thomas jones actually made these guys look decent. Chris williams and beekman are young though. Orlando Pace should just retire and get out of town. And yeah a no.1 receiver is needed.

they should have considering their short distance running game isn't that spectacular. wasn't it 4th and 3 or something. why take the risk?

But the point was if the pats had coverage/schemes issues, there is less to gain by exposing them in the regular season as opposed to in the SB.

the pats coverage issue is not a secret. The saints have gained confidence and respect by winning this game.
