The BF fan boys are working overtime on metacritic. grin All this MW3 bashing is amazing yet Activision is set to break the bank with their latest release - 9 million pre-ordered copies already (that's over $540m worth) and an estimated 20 million copies to be sold by the end of the year.
ritchboy:
People must have had really high expectations. . . I'm not expecting anything innovative/new/groundbreaking, same old tried and trusted formula.
What were they really expecting anyways, the game is running on the same old Unreal engine as its predecessors. IW, Sledgehammer and Activision wouldn't want to push the envelope on their wining formula now, would they? Next year though they had better up the ante, the competition is becoming just as good. I did read from several reviews that this is the best installation of the franchise yet and personally I'm expecting all the satisfaction I had from MW2 and maybe a little bit more then its all good. smiley

Politics › Re: Can The North Stand Alone? by Bawss1(m): 9:48am On Nov 08, 2011
The North can, by developing its agricultural and tourism industries, stand alone. . .to a reasonable extent. But it appears its leaders have been too blinded by the oil money from the south and so do not have the will to develop themselves.

Some people were giving the impression that the campaign mode is wack. From what I gather that is a wrong impression even though the multiplayer is its finest feature.

Gaming › 6,000 Copies Of Modern Warfare 3 Stolen by Bawss1(op): 8:57am On Nov 07, 2011
It seems this is now a regular, just before a COD release there usually is some report of theft or hijacking regarding the games. Last year we heard of various robberies in stores about to sell Black Ops in the US, this year the story comes from France where a truck carrying 6,000 copies (about $551,000 worth) of the yet-to-be released MW3 was hijacked on Saturday. The report is here http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/06/report-french-delivery-truck-hijacked-6-000-copies-of-modern-w/

I can imagine which markets where those games will end up.

I hope this would be the last time Daniel Craig plays as Bond. Yeah I know that statement reeks of badbellism but I'm really tired of this rough and blunt Bond.

Politics › Re: We Want Power, Good Roads, Good Schools And Good Homes - GEJ by Bawss1(m): 3:05pm On Nov 01, 2011
Part of this new vision is that even as we want foreign investors to come to invest in Nigeria we must also look inwards with a vi, ew to doing what is required to cut waste in our society and spend the savings on those things that really impact the lives of the everyday Nigerian.
Does this mean GEJ will now proceed with reducing the cost of running his government?
