Beaf:
Lagos states debt is unsustainable; its not like they are doing anything to generate more money than they already have.
As I stated earlier, I disagree. If you have a $40 or 50 billion economy, then having a debt load that is 1% of GDP is miniscule. Being at 150% like Greece is obviously bad, though grin

Lagos's debt load is fine, btw.

$460 million debt with a $42 billion economy (according to The Economist) or ~$54 billion economy (according to Fitch) is pretty reasonable.
All I saw here was somebody's failed attempt at attacking Lagos. grin

Is there no depth that Beaf will not sink to?
The Police have no right to ask anyone what they are 'going to do in Abuja' or deny anyone transit because they did not provide detailed description of what they are going to do.
I cannot believe any one in his right mind will defend this nonsense.
We can therefore conclude that it is only those who have lost their senses that will want to defend this rubbish. smiley

OTOH it makes one wonder what type of people we have as police officers. Smh

And now ladies and gents we shall witness today the release of the much awaited PS3 exclusive Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - well if you are in the US that is. The rest of us will have to wait till the shops here get their stock.

Some gaming season this is going to be, so many big releases this year. smiley

Mobinga:
I am not interested in BF3 and MW3.

GTA V trailer drops 2.11.11
LA Noire drops for PC on 8.11.11
Arkham City drops for PC on 18.11.11

These games are better than those rubbish FPS, in terms of gameplay, fun, graphics, development.

If my Internet was ok, I'll torrent MW3.

Yeah, twas OK but kinda short. Had to find a crack to enable me play the Tier 1 mode on EA servers. . .swear down twas awesome. Went on a killing spree, like 7 headshots till i got kicked out cuz they felt i was cheating or maybe they figured out my server wasn't genuine or something. . dunno

Will give BF3 the same treatment MW3 will get from me. I just check the size of both disc. . .13gb?!! shocked
Copped the Pavillion g6, iCore3 500gb,4gb, NviDia graphics card. .but i think i'll get the USB pad, don't wanna ruin the mouse. Hoping this one holds till i land that elusive PS3 console angry
Thats what I intend to do too but I can already foresee that I'll be spending more time with MW3 because BF3 does not support split-screen gaming  angry Don't they know not everyone on the globe has access to decent broadband at home? How are we suppose to enjoy the games with friends? Please someone should confirm that at least LAN parties are allowed. Frostbite2 is giving me more than goosebumps already, those renderings (from all the vids I have come across) are so cool so it will be a shame not to get my BF3 groove on when my friends come around.

Wow. . . Fudge it! That simulator vid is shocked
I won't say anything till i've copped&played both on PC tongue. .CoD will ALWAYS be my first love. I really do hope BF3 gives me good goosebumps.

MoH 2010 vs Black OPs. . .anyone?
MoH and was an OK game just like Black Ops but the reason I'd choose BO is because of its added attraction - Zombies. At the end of the day BO wasn't all that IMO
Gaming › Re: The Battle Begins: Battlefield 3 Vs Modern Warfare 3 by Bawss1(m): 11:25am On Oct 31, 2011
I haven't copped the game yet but what I've been seeing of Frostbite2 on BF3 is pretty impressive. Kinda makes the Unreal engine look dated.

Politics › Re: ‘States Are Not Bankrupt, But We Have No Money!’ -Amaechi by Bawss1(m): 7:02am On Oct 29, 2011
I'm amazed that some people here are comfortable with the present revenue sharing formula, one which results in the FG holding most of the funds/power whereas the states that need the funds are made to appear as beggars. Amaechi's concerns are very valid alas the FG doesn't have the political will to bring about an improvement. And whats all this talk about Amaechi engaging in white elephant projects? Rivers state is in dire need of basic infrastructure and that's what he's attempting to provide (albeit haphazardly IMO). Which of the present projects there are white elephant projects abeg?

jamifa:
Having played all the games in COD series and the Battlefield series I still think MW is better. However, BF3 is definitely one game to lookout for this year, and I cant w8 to get my hands on it. I also reckon that unless MW3 comes with something out of this realm in gaming terms, this will be the year of BF3 going by the trailers but hey its the game play that counts, grtz
I don't think so, there are just too many people addicted to Activision's LovePeddler grin
