Nigeria is not ready for fuel subsidy removal. |
I just realized that I have been mistaking the waves for levels, I'v actually been unable to get past Wave 23 and not level 23. My current level is 43. Will go back and edit previous comments. Since I appear to be the only one making entries on this thread, I might as well go ahead and crown myself the Nairaland MW3 Spec Ops King. No one can beat my record. ![]() |
Let us all be careful that in our "righteous rage" that we do not incur the wrath of the Natural Laws. |
phantom:Even when see pictures of Amaechi's work in P.H that you put up? Fair enough. ![]() |
Kobojunkie:So what is this really about then? Critics on this thread were saying that the hospital is "substandard" and the building is "ram shackled". Yet from all indications it appears the hospital is medically adequate. You made comments along the lines that this hospital is below expectations considering the "8 years of planning and 5 years of implementation" and now we hear that it is not about wanting the latest. What is this really about then |
Meanwhile none of the critics here have shown how the hospital in question is failing to achieve what it was set up for. |
@goggs You may not realize it but Bad Belle Operations Inc. has a very active presence on NL. ![]() |
I'm with Jarus when he says self-employment is overrated. It's a good thing for some but not for others, not everyone was cut to be entrepreneurs. Besides the path to being a successful entrepreneur is rarely rosy as some will have others believe. A salaried job may not secure you a listing on Forbes rich list but it does provide a regular income which with a little prudence will see the earner living a comfortable life. |
Kobojunkie:Like seriously, what do you expect? This hospital is not good enough. Amazing? And whats with this 8 years of planning and 5 years of implementation? Seriously. |
The law has come to stay, let them get over it. Nonsense |
How the heck does Lanre front escape the spambot hammer? ![]() |

SMH at Lagos haters. |
That's a tough spot that the OP is in. I can imagine that in Nigeria the first suspicion here with such children will be evil spirits and demonic possession. |
Still stuck at wave 23 but have ranked up to Lieutenant Colonel. Is there anyone who has survived past wave 23 on the survival mode here? Anybody? |
After reading the article I have to agree with Simon Kolawole (the author of the article) that answers have to be provided for the questions he raised before any action is taken on this fuel subsidy issue. Only after can we then see how effective the subsidy removal will be. Too many areas of this issue are shrouded in mystery and for a govt that wants to be seen as transformational then making our fuel importation and consumption details transparent should be a high priority. |
Kx:Good question. |
That's an interesting piece lanre_front |
Maybe Alams is now contrite and being deeply moved by his new found spirit of restitution desires to make good the bad he did with insightful and dedicated service to the party whose name he dragged in the mud. Or maybe not |
It will be part of our future problem if not tackled now.
+100 Straight up! |
I didn't even think that movie deserved a sequel. |
Gbawe:We already know what will happen;the cost of living is going to go up and the infrastructure which we were told is the reason for the subsidy removal will not materialize. That is a bold claim for me to make but judging by the performance of this govt then it is entirely in order. Despite all the rhetoric, GEJ has not demonstrated that he is totally committed to making the much needed changes that this country needs. With this fuel subsidy issue onlookers will argue that this is one of such changes but upon close examination it is an insincere and piece meal attempt. What he is in fact saying is that Nigerians should be the ones to make sacrifices while the government continues with its extravagant mode of operation. |
The woman, or anybody for that matter, must be a darn fool to think that investing financially in a relationship should lead to marriage. Again this is another evidence of how marriage and love has been abused today. |
Mavor:Is ASUU really the villain here? Next year when Labor goes on strike because of the removal of fuel subsidy you'll probably call for the scrapping of Labor abi? Get to know the issues that are at stake here and see who really is should be called to order. |

I found this map of Seatown and decided to put it up here. Just so that folks can see what I mean [flash=400,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miRl6nJ-IP4[/flash] |
OK after a weekend of countless repeated attempts I am still stuck at Wave 23 on the Underground map. I have however been able to rank up to Major II - salute me and have unlocked several weapons like the FAD assault rifle and all of the machine pistols. Still haven't unlocked the Barrett .50 Cal sniper rifle, the very effective answer to juggernauts IMO. Been recently using flashbangs grenades and C4 in addition to emptying my whole clip just to take out those 'nauts. A rather expensive strategy and sometimes I usually get caught in the shock of my own flashbang which just messes everything up especially when there's more than one naut attacking you. (Gosh I hate it when they run at you)Its not only the Underground which I have played, so far my favorite survival map is Seatown (tier 2?). I think its a beautifully designed map with lots of escape routes, one area easily leads to another which is very useful for bailing out when things get very hot. I have only made it to level 15 on this map. Thats my report for now though, over and out. ![]() |
