Didn't like the graphics? Dude you gotta check your system; I mean BF3 was extra buggy on your system and then HF graphics was bad?

By giving the police boss Ringim an award is GEJ thereby saying that Ringim has been doing an excellent job even after all the bomb blasts and attacks we have have recently witnessed?

omg, like everything you just wrote, I love. We should have breakfast together sometime

It is a lovely breakfast indeed. Come down to Abuja sometime and maybe we'll have breakfast together.

It was leant that the security equipment which will be principally coordinated by the office of the NSA, has installed line capacity exceeding MTN and Globacom combined and that when fully deployed, it has an excess of over one million lines.

What do they mean by the lines in bold? Please someone in the know should kindly explain. Thanks

I stopped playing combat games cos i ran out of butts to whoop.

Ahh. Another self-proclaimed champ eh?

Josyrogers:
Heard COD:MW3 single player ain't more than 5 hours gameplay? From those who have played it to the end, is this true? If this is, I see no reason why I should burn my hard earned dough on a short gameplay. Why do they make these games so short

15,000 grand no be joke.

MW3 returns with the ever addictive Special Ops mode (not to mention the multiplayer which relies on broadband though) which provides many many hours of gameplay - certainly more than 5hours. Did you play MW2? I havent finished all the Specops mission on that game till this day. See me sounding like an Activision salesman.

Ahhhh. How did I almost miss this thread.

My favorite breakfast would be thick pancakes with Aunt Jemima syrup and scrambled eggs or bacon on the side. Then orange juice to wash it all down. Pure heaven

Up till now no pancakes in sight. The number of people waiting to eat and so sign of hope. We might as well try another kitchen

I will be, by month end when my copy arrives. Have you started playing it? Hows it going?

musKeeto:
You'd do better rating your system than rating this game. Game worked smoothly on mine. The game requires resources seriously. That's why I prefer COD. I don't need high tech graphics and crap gameplay.

Still playing COD4 multiplayer and the graphics even at minimum settings looks tight

Yeah was going to say same. BF3 is PC game first consoles come in later. I mean DICE et al designed the game primarily to run on gaming PCs from what I recall reading.

^People had to run away seeing you and OAMJ were celebrating a private birthday party.

Anyways how about pancakes and syrup for a late breakfast.

Should this thread be in the Politics section?

Anyways so there was power outage during the summit? Someone please gimme the load down, were the participants sweating? How did the C-in-C react?

werepeLeri:
But they also started small and ended big with 9 11. How many other attacks on a regular basis before 9 11? Kenya, Yemen, and many more?

Noone is justifying terrorism or making a case for BH, but please be objective when attacking or criticizing.

Granted but those attacks of US interest in other countries didn't have any (negative) impact on investor confidence in the USA

What we are talking about here is how businesses and investors should take the threat that BH poses. GEJ according to the report says the threats should be ignored. Would you honestly do so?

^ Nor has Al Qaeada carried out any significant attack on US soil since 9/11 unlike in our scenario where our local Al Qaeada (BH) is carrying attacks of huge magnitude every other month.

From what I've been reading and what a few of my friends have been saying it seems MW3 is wining this battle. Several complaints about BF3 - it appears to be still buggy for some. All this is not helping EA push more units.

What do you guys have to say?

OAM4J:
Nigeria is the new global investment destination? With Boko-Haram bombs in many places, warning of Abuja being the next target for terrorist attack and US warning her citizens?

Or are they talking about investments in arms and ammunition?

But seriously the Security and Military hardware industry in this country will/is witnessing an increase in investment given the current situation.

Interesting development but how exactly will this lead to crashing of satellite TV costs in the country. Obviously this satellite launch will not affect the operations of DSTV, right? What I am really looking forward to is the provision of real broadband internet services at a reasonable cost.

^You think the Uncharted 3 review was biased?! C'mon man EVERY site out there says the game is on the money and more.

Amnesty for looters eh? Just when you think you have heard it all someone comes up with this.

Why amnesty anyways, its not like looters are ever made to pay up the stolen monies, if anything we reward them more.

Another past glory thread.

Yawn!

^You are not overtasking the system?

Evil Brain:
I recently helped a friend of mine softmod her Nintendo Wii to play pirated games. This was the first time I had done this (I'd never even played a Wii before) and I don't know anyone else who owns a softmodded Wii. Even the great Fisolucci doesn't mod Wiis or deal in Wii games. It seems Nintendo's console is not as popular among Nigerians as it is abroad.

Are there any hacked Wii owners on Nairaland? What are your experiences? Did you mod yours yourself of pay someone to do it? Which modding technique did you use? Have you had any problems since the hack? Where do you get your games from? I'm a huge fan of the Zelda games and I'm thinking of getting my own Wii to play Skyward Sword. But I'd like to hear from other owners before I spend money.

Wii pirates of Nairaland, Please post your experiences ITT.

Fact!

Hmmm, means we should prepare for more amazing tales about Chemical X

Where exactly in Abuja is the SSS saying that the protest can't hold? Not all protests must be staged in Eagle Square or the Central Area they should take the protests to Asokoro and Maitama where the top govt official live - protest right outside the fat cats bedrooms even

Anyways is the SSS saying that protests and other forms of public gatherings are not allowed now because of security?

This is Sahara Reporters again. My pinch of salt is nearby.

Nothing

Commendable. TV is full of so much trash these days its unbelievable.

^Come on do you seriously consider her to be a deserving candidate for the role? If you do then you certainly do not care about the quality of the franchise.

^No way Gears of War 3 can be on PC.

Refineries are about the size of small towns and usually take about 4 years to build one from scratch. How do these guys at Orient intend to pull this one off, did they start the work about 2 years ago?
