chiedu7:For those who follow American politics lately, there are lots of Isreali apologists in US who are against the nuclear deal with Iran and have been enganging in mud slinging obama for that. The pathetic white, pink nose guy in your so called vidro above didn't provide any shred of evidence on the allegations of Obama's influence to elect muslim buhari against Christian Jonathan. This is hogwash vidoe, a waste of data without any substance |
Flets:How pitiable! Well it is your human right to think either upside down or downside-up as you have done. People who always blame everybody but themselves for their misfortunes will amount to nothing in life. The entire team of Jonathan, his campaign organisations and PDP knew he was bound to lose the presidential election. He knew too but they were all praying for miracle and hoping on government machinery to do the impossible. To those who will like to be objective, the north central and the southwest nailed Jonathan's dream of re-election and he knew it even before the die was cast. That explains among other reasons why the postponement was considered necessary and he no-doubt made a good effort to reach out especially to the southwest and lagos during the postponement period, Though his last minutes effort resulted in more votes for PDP in southwest and moreso in lagos, but it was too little too late. Some say there is conspiracy theory against Jonathan, but when the whole of southwest gave him a block vote except osun in 2011 and the north did the same, there was no conspiracy theory. The truth of the matter was that GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN had so much goodwill in 2011 coming from minority background but he bungled the opportunity by surrounding himself with wrong people who are majorly sycophants and he sees nothing wrong with their open display of corruption, he preferred to defend corrupt members of his cabinet. In addition, he allowed wrong people to head his campaign organisation who by omissions or commission s helped GMB to gain more sympathizers when they preferred to get busy on personal attack on the GMB instead of showing good sides & performance of GEJ, they were busy on WAEC Certificate of GMB, he had Cancer, he is analogue, he is brain-dead, he wears pampers, he will die like yar adua etc. The two more profound area where these campaign associates like Edwin Clark and Fayose among others helped GMB more are in the area of Ethnicity and religion both of which did not play out in 2011 election when GEJ got massive votes in every geo political zones. Statement such as "GMB wants to Islamise nigeria" and ill- advised" desire by GEJ to openly visit all manner of churches as if all he needed to win presidential elections only the votes of Christians gave the muslim the impression that GEJ wanted to be only Christian president and therefore, it is ok to "christianize nigeria", Secondly, muslims were of the opinion that if these jesters such as FFK is telling christians not to vote for GMB because he is a muslim, then what moral right do they have to ask for muslims vote in the north. Consequently, GEJ Campaign organisation succeeded in polarizing nigerians along the religious line moreso when more churches were endorsing him and some are threatening to open the gate of hell to others who don't support GEJ. Lastly and very important, every notherner felt slighted when Asari Dokubo, Edwin Clark and the Comedian in Ekiti, Fayose categorically told the north to forget their ambition for presidency till 2019 as if the votes of the Ijaws and South East alone can be enough to return Jonathan and instead of GEJ to warn his kinsmen, he seems to be enjoying the hates speeches against many prominent people from other zones including the military. It is a known fact that the juicy ministerial appointments such as petroleum ministers, finance, Chief of army staff, secretary to the federation, etc went to either south south and south east, Right from the campaign trail of mr president, he knew the northern support was not there and the reasonable votes he got were due to efforts of his sitting governors and ministers from the north. With the exception of Kano a few other states like sokoto, Borno and Yobe where APC rule, 80% of the states where APC defeated GEJ are under control of sitting PDP governors and PDP chairman as in the case of Bauch and under tbe control of Vice president and sitting governor in Kaduna with all federal government machineries at their disposal, Same in Kogi, the comical part is that several of the sitting PDP governors hoping to go to the senate had their ambitions checkmated while still in charge Governor Suswan of Benue state and Aliyu Babangida of niger state are two examples even in the north central where GEJ was expected to get massive votes. Even in Kano, a serving minister, who was a former governor of the state and former presidential candidate Alhaji Shekarau among other formidable people were on ground to protect the Interest of GEJ, With all these suicidal steps taken by GEJ & associates, it will be fool-hardy for them to expect any end result of their actions aside defeat because, in this part of the world, "no one arrogant tree or two can make a forest" GEJ knew he had lost when the results of States like Benue, Kogi, Niger and with narrow margin of about 36000 to win in Nasarawa and Kwara which were the major states he was expecting miracle. When finally, the southwest with the exception of Ekiti went to Opposition, with all the noise of Afeniferawon and Mimiko who couldn't deliver his state, it was obvious that GEJ would be defeated and that much he knew, Therefore, people who didn't see conspiracy in 2011 when Jonathan won have no reason to accuse other regions of it now. Same way Prof. Jega was commended of a good performance in 2011 when GEJ won, no one should discredit the gentleman now because the result didn't favour them. While It may be true that there are under-aged voters who may have voted for GMB, much bigger rigging took place in the East and South South where APC with a sitting governor got 68000+ whike GEJ got 1.4million plus votes! No part of the other 4 geo political zones did GEJ Got as low as they gave GMBb in Bayelsa-5000+, Similar thing was done in 2011 where south south and south east recorded 98% voter turn out and every one voted for only GEJ!! The real implications of GEJ ascendancy and the way he and his kinsmen have managed it, have been dismal. His kinsmen, mostly former militants and Edwin Clark were always quick to tell the rest of us that it is their turn and their son is in charge only as "president of Ijaw and not of the nations". That explains why he postponed the foundation laying ceremony of a $16billion dollar gas project in delta because the location is outside ijaw territory. Future utterances of People from East and South South will determine wether or not they will ever smell presidency again for a long time to come because of the way they play their politics so far. When the southwest was there in person of Obasanjo, his cabinet was across regions and yorubas didn't claim ownership as if Obasanjo was president for Yoruba people alone, in actual fact, the major critics of Obasanjo's administration were the yorubas, they didn't even gave him their vote in his first term in 1999, he lost in his ward. That's the way the politics should be played, if the leaders of south east and south south do not see the need to start building bridges across other geo political zones, it will indeed be extremely difficult for any of their sons or daughters to win enough votes for presidency outside the two regions in future contest. |
Taylor86:I have never seen a man inviting the wrath of God on his race. Whichever area of the country you come from, your quoted statement could invoke rapture on your entire last 3 generations. Beware of what you say to others lest God will visit with your family with more catastrophic calamitous calamity. But I pray you repent and desist from this unguarded utterances for your own sake and that of innocent others who will most likely share in your misfortunes. By pointing one finger to someone, the other four fingers are innyour direction. |
ozoigbondu:Even you are making demands of Buhari that he MUST do 25% of what your man GEJ couldn't do 5% in 6years? Yeye dey smell Some people no get shame at all, with all your noise Ozoingbodu !! |
asdfjklhaha:Right on point. I couldn't agree less with you. Ig GEJ & his supporters were to do a post mortem analysis of their defeat, they would have saw it coming since Jan 2012 fuel subsidy imbroglo and his many anti people policies that bothers on corruption and incompetence. In what sane society will a government agency swindled, and murdered several innocent job applicants with no repercussions for the perpetrators of this heinous act? The oil subsidy scam dominated by Tanoids is an open secret. I can go on and on. But rather than for Jonathan to pause and reflect on all these issues, he was always in denial thinking people don't matter but we dp and we have given our verdict on Saturday 28th March 2015. Simplicita! |
Pvin:Go as far as Otuoke you mean? Or where else is he going that is far? ![]() |
Hmmmmm Epe of all places!!!! Well we can only wish them best of lucks

For those who are wondering what next for Otueke-bound GEJ after the imminent defeat. Below is the answers

Can I see the pictures of the dashboard? Thank you. I can pick it if you are willing to give a little more discount. |
Aftre reading through all the options and suggestions. I am of the opinion that the entire money be reserved for the next nairalander with life-threatening disease as long as it can be adequately verified to be genuine. I am a donor, though anonymous but like others, what went through my mind while I was making the donation was "Here is an opportunity to SAVE A LIFE, Now that Djola has passed on (regrettably though), may his soul rest in peace. I think the wise thing is to look for the next possible life we can save. Health challenges are part of human existence since Adam & Eve, A visit to any general hospital in nigeria will show you how people die needlessly over mostly avoidable death. I will be more than happy to donate more in future if it is to SAVE A LIFE The impression given to donors was to join in saving a life not in providing financial assistance to indigent families. Some of us will be encouraged or discouraged to donate for similar noble project in future, depending on how this issue is resolved. It is the responsibility of the children (especially the first born) to take care of their mother, the amount in view cannot solve all the mother's problem. If ever some people a strongly convinced that the mother should ger some money, at best, N100k should be given to her discreetly to avoid the prying eyes of first born. Finally, I suggest we keep the donations going and keep helping more people in dire need of finance for only life threatening illness or we can use, MTN foundation approach, not necessarily for the same machine. Currentlly donated brain scanning machine called CCT scanner or so at Lagos Island General Hospital, they however charge minimally to maintain the equipment and to further use the proceeds to buy more medical equipments. This way, rather than spend raw donations on medical bills, income generated by these equipments may not be enough but will reduce pressure on donors if properly mannaged. For instance, in the MTN FOUNDATION CCT Scanner, you don't pay cash to anyone, you pay to the first bank account dedicated for the machine's proceeds. Sentiments and emotions can derail the true objective of this laudable goal, which is strictly and unambiguously to SaVE A LIFE OR LIVES as the cas may be |
makazona:The wind of hope indeed! Who are the mischievous suppoeters of this so called clandestine wind of hope? All manners of politicalassociations are springing up to share innthe Jonathan/ PDP largese under different guise. This one from Yenagoa are now so rich to sponsor everyone to uk to debate? Everyone now sees why APC was not comfortable with AIT and NTA designed debate. The two Jonathan stations have finally been showing their true intentions through their mudslinging hates documentaries about APC and its promoters. With so many phony group all aiming at working for Jonathan and the PDP through the back door, Personally, I don't see GEJ as an orator or someone with High I.Q to defaet GMB in a debate , moreso, with his abysmal performance in Power, Youth Unemployment, no thanks to Abba slowpoke and his phony NIS job scam, Subsidy scam, Corruption everywhere, kidnapping and armed robbery, polarized nation along ethnic and religious lines, comatose in education, health, security, etc. I can go on and on, It will require little effort to defeat GEJ at a debate organised by fair minded group not "wind of hen yansh" but we know that such groups like AIT & sons will only do the bidding of their pay master. Even if |
Balkan:The best way to examine the quality of someone's brain is to analyse what comes out of it in either oral or written. Reading your post and many other "under aged" and undeveloped brains here shows that nairaland is fast becoming difficult to read meaningful statements that could be of benefits anymore. 1, Wether true or not, Prof. Osinbajo is and has always been an humble man from an humble background and his access to public office doesn't mean he should have enriched himself and build mansion on hill top like some generals and politicians. Your GEJ had no shoes too before he became President. And if we are looking for competent and people of integrity to manage nigeria, then I pity those who are running their mouths here. Innthe yorubaland, there are cities, there are towns and there are villages not far away from family farmlands. And those who go to farms stays temporarily in the huts or mud houses like the one in the pics during the planting or harvesting season until they go back. In anycase, there are some elderly in the villages, who prefer to stay over within their midst. My Grandfather refused all atempt to relocate him to the city complaining that almost all his mates who went to the city die early due to inactivity unlike in the village where they eat fresh foods and travel longer distance to keep shape. And he would not allow anyone to rebuild the mud house in order not to create undue attention of a father with rich children in the village. His final and most important reason for refusing to leave the village, he said he grew up with all the aged In the village and he was not prepared tjo to stay away from them for whatever reason. So, in most cases, things are not always the way we see it from afar. We need to be careful with uninformed utterances |
I am certainly and absolutely unconvinced of your real motive. I struggle to read your write up hoping it will make some sense but to the contrary. You have succeeded in wasting our precious time reading your hugwash paxkage. You ezpect innocent people to contribute their hard-earned money to your bogus and phony cooperativw. Yet you don't have history, no name , no addreas NOTHING convincing and you display your bank accounts for mugus and magas to pay into it? Just like that?! Fear your lord because the day of reckoning is near. People beware! !! |
DaZion:Following Okupe's footsteps when he compared GEJ to Christ? Now I ask you "if march4christ 2015" is the same as march for GEJ 2015" Will it be wrong to ask you to clarify if you are also comparing Christ with GEJ? |
sanc2s:Don't be deceived by the name "halimaabj" , most GEJ supporters these days try to use northern or southwestern names or identity as their usernames just to confuse others. We know where most of them are from. As things stand, the best and highest vote for GEJ Will come from South South and South east, though some states may still disappoint him. On the unusual and frequent commissioning and re-commissioning of power plants now, I smell a rat. I am aware that Mr. President, is desperate to get re-elected by hooks or crooks, that explains why he has been visiting all manners of churches recently. He didn't bother to visit 80% of these churches in 2011, when he was certain of winning, now that "Things are falling apart". Some smart guys are doing some smart subtle campaigns through some phoney commissioning here and then that has not translated to light in our houses. I leave in Ketu, close to Ikorodu not far from Egbin. If I don't see any improvement in power supply between now and march 28th, then GEJ'S phoney power plant commissioning will not change my mind, I can't tqke the commissioning on the face value. However, I am impressed so far with GEJ's recent effort at crushing the BOKO Boys and he may convince some of us to have a change of heart if he can get the substantial part of the job done. There aare three areas I believe GEJ has failed woefully. Namely Security, not just Boko boys, even Kidnapping and armed robbery has been on increase. Power Supply, let's hope we can see improved power supply between now and march 28th. And finally and most importantly, CORRUPTION that he has elevated to the highest possible level in his administration. From Subsidy scam, immigration job scam, NNPC scam, Stella Oduah, etc. EFCC has honestly become moribund sinc3 he came to office. He keeps celebrating people of questionable characters like Femi fani kayode, Alamesiagh etc. Corruption is my biggest worry with his administration. And I know some goons will try to justify him by arguing that since other leaders before him arre also corrupt, so it is ok. I dont like APC especially with people like Tinubu around Buhari and that's why I will be happy to see the APC lose in lagos but PDP and GEJ doesn't deserve another 4years with level of economic mismanagement under GEJ'S administration. Nigerian economic has been handed over to a few "cabal" with little or no sympathy foe the nigerians. For me, if nothing change by March 28th, Otueke straight!!! |
Please look beyond your nose NSA started the call for postponement while in London over twoo weeks ago, What source are you looking for? That our militaru under minimah has been politicized? That all government/presidency appointees are mobilizing for Jonathan to win? That government parastatals like NTA/FRCN/VOA management are all in a bid to ensure GEJ re-election. That Prof. Jega specifically mentioned that security is the most important singular reason which is outside his control why the poll will be shifted. Are you asking me to proof that The Heads of security agencies and Director-General of NYSC are government's appointees and their loyality in this part of the world is to whoever appoint them and not to nigeria? I believe nairaland is for people with cerebral capacity to reason if however as it is expected, a few who can't but argue in a shallow manner just to defend their candidate however blind and lame their argument may seem, it is unfortunate. But God IS ON THE THRONE, HE IS WATCHING................. |
From all indication, Prof. Jega and his resident commissioners were ready to go ahead with the February presidential election as scheduled and that explained why it took him several meetings and consultations with different interest groups to arrive at the painful decision. But the major issue that got his hands tied is that of Security. Beyond the Military's claim that it could not guarantee the safety of the Inec staff, materials and voters. Since PDP has been crying for the postponement for their selfish reasons, they have succeeded innusing threat that Prof. Jega will be held responsible for whatever (problem) that may arise after their sudden refusal to provide security as it has always been the case. The Director General of NYSC where INEC recruits the 80% of its ad hoc staff, who incidentally is a military man under chief of army staff can not say otherwise when his "Oga at the top" are interested in postponig the election. At this point, INEC can do nothing without the NYSC and the security agencies both of which are under the command and influence of the Presidency. In addition, Jonathan’s supporters under the aegis of the Southern Nigeria Peoples Assembly led by Ijaw leader and ex-Minister of Information, Chief Edwin Clark, called for the postponement of the polls. The group, at a press conference, pressed further by asking for the sacking Chairman, INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, and his arrest for allegedly conniving with some northerners to manipulate the presidential election against Jonathan. Those in attendance included a former Vice-President, Alex Ekwueme, ex-Minister of Information, Walter Ofonagoro; ex-Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife; Peoples Democratic Party’s National Vice-Chairman (South-South), Dr. Cairo Ojugboh, and the Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee of the recently held national confab, Senator Femi Okurounmu, among others. Okurounmu, who read a prepared speech jointly signed by him, Clark and Ekwueme on behalf of the group, said the alleged connivance with the Northern Elders Forum was responsible for the near 100 per cent collection of Permanent Voter Cards in the North. The PDP has also repeatedly called for a shift of the polls in the past two weeks. An INEC National Commissioner, who spoke to SUNDAY PUNCH under anonymity after the Saturday meetings, said it was better for the commission to shift the elections in order to protect the integrity of their outcome and those that would take part in the conduct of the elections. He said, “You needed to be at the meeting and see the mood of Jega. He was not happy because his integrity was at stake and because these same service chiefs had earlier given their words that they were ready. “Now, if he didn’t listen to their advice, these same security agencies could create scenes (problems) for the elections. They could sabotage the distribution of sensitive materials. “Apart from that, they could also refuse to provide security for those involved in the elections and could also sabotage the movement of sensitive materials.” The source said almost everyone in the country was aware that the PDP-led Federal Government was not ready for the elections. “If the Federal Government that is funding the security agencies and appointed their heads is not ready for elections, how do you compel their heads who are all appointees of the same government to say they are ready,” according to punch newspaper But as the plot thicken...... I will like to remind everyone intending to make nonsense of our votes so that it will not count.... Humans and mortals can plan and even hire master planners, but THE ALMIGHTY GOD IS THE BEST OF PLANNERS and soon, He will disgrace all them. |
ruggedtimi:What next? Otueke trip of course!! |
An average intelligent reader can deduce a "Packaged write up". This revelation does not appear so. The writer mentioned names, of individuals, time, dates, locations and even phone numbers. We all know the heavy involvement of hooded military and other security agencies days before and during the Ekiti and Osun states gubernatorial elections. This revelation wouldn't be a total suprise going by the recent involvement of DSS and Military in Politics. The DSS raids of APC office in Lagos under the pretext that they are planning to hack into INEC database when INEC itself has categorically stated that their database is not online and therefore not possible to hack. For those willing to be objective, GEJ may not be fully involved perhaps, but the rogues he has appointed in nearly all positions of authority are ready to destroy Nigeria, if need be, to ensure that the status quo remains. The current cheif of Army staff is an Ijaw man appointed by GEJ over and above about 15 senior officers from other parts of the country. The current director general of DSS and marly Ogar were more interested in going after " perceived enemy" of GEJ than to gather serious intelligence about enemy of nigeria. All government institutions and parastatals are in a race to impress and do the biddings of the party in power even if such biddings are inimical to the nigeria's existence. There are so many people who really don't mean well for GEJ but they prefer GEJ cleulessness leadership that has allowed them to hold sway in corrupt practices than imagine what life will be like for them under Buhari's leadership. It is up to us to decide the future of this country but I am convinced that we trully deserve better than this . Nigerians have no business queuing at embassies for visas if we trully have bood leaders who can manage this country. |
Abba999:So, if I don't vote for Jona, I am not better than the Devil too? By your statement, only those who vote for GEJ are the Saints. Right? |
Come to think of it, Will AIT accept this documentary from APC, if there is one meant to discredit, Jonathan or his wife ? Umaru Dikko came from the north and as a fugitive, deserved much more. PDP campaigners were quick to raise the issue that Alex Ekwueme was arrested and detained while Shehu Shagari was allegedly given a house arrest. But in the case of Umaru Dikko, it wasn't important to showcase tribalism there. Are the PDP saying that it is a crime to punish fugitives and drug carriers? About jailing Fela, no administration tortured Fela and his family much more than Obj and no one raised this issue before, during and after Obasanjo's rule. I see GEJites last minutes attempt to discredit GMB as too little too late. For whatever it is worth, i am not expecting a saint in Buhari, but we deserve something better and if PDP gets power now, they will not appreciate the electorate as much as losing the powet now and fight back for it in four years from now. Whichever party wins after then, politicians will begin to take nigerians seriously. I expect APC to Open the yansh of GEJ & his wife's especially on her EFCC case just before GEJ was nominated for VP. |
Given the present precarious circumstance In which we are now as a nation, It is only reasonable for someone with experience, discipline and a good team player like buhari to run the affairs of this great country like mandela did atleast for tbe next four years to see how much progress we can make in security of lives and properties, power supply and economic diversification and most importantly in how to tame and possibly destroy this hydra-headed monster of CORRUPTION which has grown so big under GEJout. As it is now Damn Patience Jonathan is our President by the body language and cluelessness of the weakling called GEJout Mr GEJ is the vice-president (unofficially but in reality) Dumbo Sambo is the P.A. to the unofficial vice president. Most actions and inactions of GEJ is a product of mama piss thoughts and that is why he has been unable to control her activities and interference in river state creating more problems for vice-president (sic) , she is now fishing in trouble water in bayelsa now . Chai! Chai! Chai There is God oh!!! |
pekeyim:Why don't you guys look for some tangible achievements of Otueke-bound GEJ rather than focusing on "tissue-based" campaign instead of "Issue-based". Let's for once agree with you that buhari is old, what has GEJ achieved with his so called "youthfulness and unverifiable phd after six years in power" In africa where culture is cherished, we all run to our parents and grand parents for solutions whenever we are at crossroads like nigeria is now because wisdom supercede knowledge expecially, if such knowledge is acquired by someone who lacks the true capacity to apply the knowledge in a positive way. I am not a P pekeyim:hd holder but if becoming a phd holder will make me as hopeless and clueless like GEJ, I'd rather be a primary school leaving certificate holder |
otijah:Does anyone need to be known in Australia to be relevant in nigeria? Nigerians in Australia like you are inconsequential in the outcome of election here at home. |
Poverty na bastard!!! |
