Many igbos who came to lagos with their black nylon polybags and within years become lqndlords with many yorubas as their friends who helped them in one way or the other to rise. When these successful igbos go back home, they still see some of their old school mates still doing Okada rider and other menial jobs year on year because of limited opportunities at home. D igbos are like a wife who takes pleasure in threatening divorce at every opportunity. The rest of nigerians are no longer concerned about such threat because seriously, there is no development in the southeast with UGM beheading eveyone in sight. Igbos do not even go home for Xmas as much as before because of insecurity. For those in lagos, be sincere to your conscience that yorubas have not been of help in any shape or form in your business or personal life. Yorubas are not saints but many of Yorubas are the pillars behind Obi. Take it or leave it. Yorubas are evenly spread across the 3 major parties. Obasanjo, Doyin Okupe, Bode George, Osuntokun, Diran Onifade etc are in labour Party. And Labour won a state in the Southwest Dele Momodu,National Secretary of PDP, Debo Ologunagba, legal Adviser - Kamal Ajibade etc and PDP won Osun State. In APC, yorubas are there in sufficient numbers too. If you risk all your entire savings in bet9ja, you have no right to demand money or assistance from others if you lose out. It is their prerogative to help or not. In the final analysis, Obi and Obidients indirectly helped Tinubu to power by dividing what could have been an easy win for Atiku. Tallesty1:You may be disappointed by your low expectation. In history, those who are known to be successful at destroying corruption or stealing are those with expertise in the se line. If you have never picked pocket before, it is always like magic when those who know how to do it show you their loot. Even Americans usually use retired criminals to get active ones. Even with the so called noise of Buhari as Mr. Integrity, how has that translate into better results against corruption? Yar'adua was loved by the masses. His short stay made him more adorable Just Like Gen. Muritala Muhammed in 1976, many here were young or unborn then. If Yar'adua had stayed long for 8yrs, perhaps with benwfit of hindsight, he may have seen the foolishness in reversing the sale of our 4 moribund refineries to Dangote that was done by Obasanjo. That decision is the reason we are still paying so much for fuel subsidy. Running a govt is not a child's play, some decisions may look unpopular but may be the best for the country. Just like in a family, not everything your kids want should be given else the kids will grow up with entitlement mentality. That is wherr we are. Many who should be doing meaningful businesses on their own are waiting for govt jobs and carrying certificates about. Is common sense not common again? A serious change of mindset is very urgently needed in nigeria. The best govt in the world cannot provide for everybody. Not likely. United States of America was developed by the creativeness of individual Americans, All we need is enabling enviroment to succeed. But guess what, everyday in both Lagos and Abuja international Airports. The indians. Lebanese, Chines, Syrians etc are entering nigeria and making it big. Check majority of manufacturing companies in nigeria now, they are owned partly or wholly by these foreigners. My encounter with some of them is that an average nigeria sees nigeria as the worst country, they prefer to complain about everything and everyone but themselves. Rather than look inward and turn challenges to opportunities, they see doom and are therefore ready to do everything to Japa. They said many nigerians also believe in get rich quick syndrome, they do not want to sweat to grow but they still end up doing same abroad. 2 Likes |

Imagne if Obi, Kwakwanso and Atiku could agree to work together as one. Tinubu will lose with a very wide margin! But the real elephant in the room is the greed within the opposition splitting their block votes into 4, Kwankwaso, Atiku,Obi and G5. We all know how APC defeated Jonathan, Only Buhari contested. Imagine if APC splitted in 2015, with Tinubu contesting as president, Buhari contesting as president. Could they have unseated Jonathan with that approach? I am sure these greedy leaders Atiku in particular knows why they lost. That is why PDP and Atiku are not as vocal as Eluup A house divided against itself can never stand. They lost a golden opportunity to unite and get rid of D useless APC. I hope they do a better Job in 2027! As for the professor Onigbinde. He is from Yewa and he is bitter about Tinubu's influence denying people of Yewa to win the APC primary. However, he refuse to blame his people who chose to vote for outsider instead of one of their own. He should go to Village square and discuss with his people to stop voting for deep pockets🤣🤣🤣 His bitterness about Yewa is responsible for his commentary about the presidential election not true reflection.
