A Christian will understand that tithe and offering are the commandment if God. It's written in the old testament that we should bring all tithe into the Lord house so that there be meat in his house.
Tithe and offering are for church growth and also for the payment of pastor welfare.
What so ever they do with it is not our business. Ours is to do as commanded by God.
And oyedepo as fulfilled that purpose. He recently recruited our 4000pastors plus the thousands already on payroll. He his currently starting the building if over 9000 churches worldwide.
It's written in the scriptures. He who seek first into the kingdom of God. All other things shall be added into him.

This country funny me. A country can not make more money by increasing VAT, electricity and petroleum price. They will only strink out the money of the common man and also the economy into the govt hands. And this will cause rise in prices. Which wil still strink out more money.
A country that behaves like this on economy policy is lazy. What are the physical policies the ministry of finance must run? Make them go hire better hands.
At this point. U have to inject into the economy by reducing all tariffs, tax's, VAT, interest rate etc. U have to even create employment wether short term or contract employment. Just to inject money to the people.
If the govt need more money, let them invest, or build facilities that will give them.profit rather than over taken from us the money we don't even have enough tru tax's, VAT etc. When they are Robbin hood

There is no reason why the Nigerian government can not look inward on capital development. I mean, the reason for borrowing is for development of agriculture and other infrastructure abi. Then use local contractors that can collect naira from u not dollars that foreign contaparts collect.
The truth is that it is the Nigerian government that are lazy. They don't want and inward development of our local manufacturers. because when this dollars are borrowed. They can be easily stolen.
A country that keeps borrowing will kip having a steady rise in inflation. That's why goods and services keep increasing in cost.
And another option for the govt is this, since they are lazy to develop local manufacturers, the govt should use our crude oil as an exchange for money. I mean if you want to borrow me money, let me use my crude oil to pay u back. Not giving u back the same cash.
All this can be done. But they won't do it. Reason is because dollars is easily stolen.
