I will leave with the words of a Russian General who fought and lost in Afghanistan after invading the country in 1979

When we came in many wellciomed us and those who did not were scattered in a few villages  10 years later there were 100000 armed rebels in the hills around Kabul
Is it the good folk that are already in paralysis over offshore oil that will do this?
Think again, sir. cool

The members of the NASS add zero value to Nigeria. angry angry angry
Its all about awarding themselves billions for doing phuckall. The whole country is a scam where everyone looks only at the FG, while all other arms operate in the equivalent to armed robbery or 419. 90% of Senators, Reps, Govs, LG chairmen all do phuckall, their posts might as well not exist and nobody will notice.

#Occupy should have been about things like this, instead of wasting emotions on the subsidy.

We have what late Chief Awolowo called a "geographical expression", a group of disparate nations lumped together. Building a true nation called Nigeria will take several more decades.
It does not have to take decades. What is required is the provision of a shared direction and all other things will follow.
Unfortunately, boko haram precludes this at the mo, but as Nigerians, we can find something that would truly bind us as one in thought and aspiration.

This is the lowest this beaf guy can get to - why post of these bs to make a point?
The point is made, right? And resoundingly too.

It is wrong to be derogatory, and it is a twisted irony when the person being derogatory is so blinded by their bigotry that they cannot see that they are also describing themselves. We are all creek creatures - ND and Lagos.

Before this thread, many would not have known that what they were seeing all around them were creeks.

In the minds of the wise, the kernel of this thread will be broadened even further than the creek issue to include all tools of ethnic bigotry.

Maybe it will help your rumours better if you can also claim that David Cameron gave orders to the Nigerian army to join the fight! grin

Seriously beaf, I expect this type of threads from the likes of WilyWily, not you. I am so dissapointed in you. We do not always agree on this site, but I value you opinions when you are sane.
This new you is disgusting to say the least. I never shy away from these type of fights, and I can drag this with you forever, but out of respect for the people who have not offended me in any way, I will sign off here.
Lol! I cannot understand why the truth is painful to you? I can only assume that you are upset because the truth of your facade has been laid bare. We are both swamp dwellers and creek beings. Why dat one de fex you na? Why live a counterfeit life just so you can point a derogatory finger at others?

Just agree that it is foolish for a Lagosian to describe anybody else as belonging in the creeks or swamps in a derogatory way. This thread helps people with graphic definitions of creeks and swamps as they occur in Lagos in order to blow away lies that cause pain. It serves as a mirror for you to look in and see the true you.

Ok, you tried the ethnic route: Result = FAIL
Then the falsehood route: Result = FAIL
Now, the emotional route: Result = FAIL

Certain things need to be addressed, I do not insult ethnic groups and never will, but the ironies, idiocies and pain that you and others inflict on fellow NLers needs to be exposed without blinking.

You don't need to explain to me why you think this last picture you posted and several others have anything to do with creeks, but if you think they are, then good luck to you.
I have done exactly what you set out to do in this thread. The table is turned on your little, vindictive mind and am having all the fun, as usual.
Your denial of the obvious is making you so damn daft. The post you quated very clearly says "swamp." Abi lie no de let you see well again?

Politics › Re: A Day To Punish The Nigerian Woman by Beaf: 1:03pm On Mar 09, 2012
Shade Tinubu of the Lagos State Market Development Board had chosen this day to make a show of power. She'd hoped to put up a charade and 'do shakara', showing off her white gold jewellery, her French lace, and Louboutin high heel shoes at the market, alas, there was no welcoming committee in whose noses to douse her L'Air Du Temps. There were not even market women from whom to draw fake smiles and waves.

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the politically installed daughter of the ex-governor of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu, visibly upset, ordered the officials of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) force to shut down Alade Market, ensuring that no one earned their daily bread for the whole day.
Damn! shocked

Is there any corroboration for this story though? Rumours have become easy in today's Nigeria, OP the ball is in your court to prove your story.

oiseworld:
Let opositiin parties be opposition. Why is jealousy and envy circulating around ACN that they no longer know how to talk to our president. Is it because they are the minority. Attitudes like this won't get them any vote in future. Can any opposition party else where tell the serving president to take a looong, gooood and haaarrd look at him self in the mirror.

GEJ, if you had never been right all your life, you were right to have called them RASCALS.
There is little to expect from a party led by a drug baron, fraudster and forger. Like leader like follower.
People think that being in opposition means they can disrespect their own country and its symbols of sovereignty, including the President.
I expect that these people would also haul insults at their own parents and claim it is freedom of speech. Anything from the gutter will behave like the gutter.

prodam:
Hi guys, everyday we talk about problems peculiar to the field of computer science in Nigeria. most people who never attended a university or any higher institution tend to be more exposed and refuse to bow for the graduates. this is not because of pride but a pest that seems to be decaying the field of computers science. this pest is nothing but the syllabus of computer science in most of higher institutions.

guys, what could be the solution that in a period of 5 years to this time, there would be a significant and evident change. A vision of a time when a computer science would not be a poo!!!
In any subject or area of life, education is merely a structured way to help the less talented.
Anybody who has been able to pick up the practical aspects of computer science and run with it IS a naturally talented person who does not need education in that field. It is also the reason they tend to be better than those who need to study computer science.

Take note also, that all fields of computing tend to be practical and results tend to be quite easy to measure.

Bill Gates did not study computer science, but not many in this World can rival his code. For a long period at Microsoft, all critical code had to pass through Bill Gates eyes. As I said earlier, its a practical field and Bill Gates results can be easily measured; what does your PC run? Windows? grin
Politics › Re: Presidency Warns Acn Against Disrespecting Office Of President by Beaf: 10:23am On Mar 09, 2012
Until one of these people is locked up, they wouldn't understand the difference between opposition and subvertion.

The President has taken time to gather full power and now has it, so it is no longer business as usual where any fool in the opposition could rise from his toilet and emit the leftover poo from his lips.

I don't see why ACN leaders constantly act like they lack decent upbringing.

What if there are creeks in Lagos, and what if some people refer to you as a creek dweller? How does it justify your frenzied uploading of fake slum pictures to prove there are creeks in Lagos?
Really? shocked

It has taken you how many pages of lying and denial to finally admit the obvious?
Do you know why?

It is because id!ots like you choose to label others in derogatory ways, without even thinking that you might either be worse of or in exactly the same boat. Indeed you have taken that behaviour to such levels that it gives graphical proof to the fact that education does not stop a fool exhibiting the foolishness that naturally comes them. Does posting pictures of creeks in the ND disprove the obvious fact that Lagos is just as riddled with creeks and swamps? Lol!

Rather than admit the obvious, your instincts of speaking in derogatory ways about others has led you into a deepening spiral of of lies and denial of the fact that just like me, you too are a swamp dweller from the creeks.

What a pity.

The long and short is, there are creeks and swamps in enough states outside the Niger Delta, therefore it is id!otic for anyone to try to use creeks and swamps as a derogatory description, especially when they themselves are from creeks and swamps.

By the way, I simply love them creeks and swamps and anyone should be proud of them; except the clowns whose crudity and ignorance have been blown up - they will go to absurd lengths to prove that black is white.

Mr Aigbofa and fellow freaks, there are a thousand creeks and swamps in Lagos.

Aside from so many like the guy above, a lot of money and effort went into the SA liberation struggle and the freeing of Mandela, it was as if we were fighting for the life of a family member.
Now that they are free, they've turned insolent and corky; always rioting and killing their fellow blacks because they feel superior.
