koruji:
What do I expect from hypocrites. Mtcheeeewwwww. Let me show you the consequence of your fallacious twist and turns once again.

If the SNG confronted the police and the army in Abuja in support of GEJ and that protest was so limp back then, why are you & GEJ so scared of the limp SNG protests and proclamation now. Why did GEJ not say to all protesters to go home - because "my" people are dying on the Jos plateau, the presidency is not important to me? Hypocrites of all shades of colors!!!

Another point I made earlier - this is why people are unlikely to come to your help, even if they could offer something useful. You are bloody ingrates. Now SNG protest is limp. Where were you and Nchara then?
Come to whose help? Is the bolded sentence the encapsulation of the ethnic bigotry that makes you and those like you to side with boko haram? Is that why deaths of the innocent do not bother you enough to protest for the sancity of life? Is that why you are wicked and comparable to boko haram with your intent to destabilise the country?

Lastly, who are ingrates? Phucking parasites who wouldn't lift a finger to do an honest days job, or those from whose lands your lazy arses are fed and clothed? Who is the ingrate, the beggar or the benefactor? Who needs help, the layabout or the one whose lands bear gold?

Look in the mirror and think hard, because you will soon realise that you are staring at the reflection of an ingrate.

While expressing grief, Yaro could not understand why, “when hundreds of people were killed senselessly in the past few months, all toothless bulldogs can't even bark any more let alone bite because money is not involved for them to fight for,” warning Nigerians to be guided not to be used by self seeking opposition, but join hands together to build a great and united Nigeria.

Phuck the crap about SNG protesting to make GEJ President. Their protests did not acheive 1% of the actions Dora Akunyi single-handedly executed.
Yet, Dora Akunyi doesn't wake up and talk specious nonsense of how she made GEJ President. The SNG story is foolish at best.

Does the fact that SNG held a few limp demonstrations give them the right to partner with boko haram?

@koruji

You are only confirming the hypocrisy of Ojota that the Seriki is bitter about.

Boko haram had been killing long before the subsidy was removed, so why did you hypocrites not protest if you value human lives? That is the simple question the Seriki is asking.

What were the real motives of that protest? Why did the hypocrites not protest after the numerous Jos massacres, the various boko haram bombings; why are those phuckers not protesting now after Kano? WHY?

Why are El-Rufai and Tunde Bakare all fevered up about inanimate subsidies, but can't give a phuck about precious human life?
They are simply "occupying" the civilian wing of boko haram.
Politics › Re: Northern Leader in LAgos Ask Nigerians Why They Are Not Protesting Against BH by Beaf: 6:06am On Jan 23, 2012
But when hundreds of people were killed by sects using bombs, nobody stages protest or condemned it because it didn't happen in their vicinity, none of their relatives are affected or because they are afraid to speak and get bombed too,” the monarch queried.
He asked rhetorically further: “Where is Occupy Nigeria? Where is El-Rufai? Where is Pastor Tunde Bakare? Where are the Celebrities, artistes and musicians?

Where are the Opposition Parties? Where are Nigerians? Were they all in the blast that rocked Kano city? Why is everyone keeping mute now? Or is Kano State not part of Nigeria? Is this not a more serious issue for all Nigerians to wear black rags and truly ‘occupy Nigeria’ with peaceful protest against mass killings of innocent ones?

Do we have energy and strength only on subsidy removal issues? Everyone seems to be afraid now. What a big shame?”
Count them all as the civilian wing of boko haram.
Politics › Re: Northern Leader in LAgos Ask Nigerians Why They Are Not Protesting Against BH by Beaf: 6:00am On Jan 23, 2012
The Seriki Hausawa of Lagos State, Alhaji Aminu Idris Yaro has expressed sadness over the nonchalant attitudes of Nigerians towards the activities of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram leading to the death of many people and destruction of property worth billions of naira.
The Seriki, who doubles as the Chairman of the Arewa Traditional Council in the state wondered why people refused to hit the street the way they did against fuel subsidy recently.

According to him, it was a painful realization that people put their comfort far above the collective comfort of the Nigerian masses as was demonstrated recently by the protesters against the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government.
“In Nigeria when subsidy was removed on petroleum, people protested and shut down every activity and some patriots even died during the protests.
They are busy "occupying subsidies" in support of boko haram. Too busy occupying Ojota with creeps and hypocrites to do anything worthwhile for the lives of their fellow citizens.
They are in the same bracket as boko haram.

Shame.

Buzu is a word to describe a Sudanese ethnic group of very tall and very dark people. So, was Tanko Buzu Sudanese?
If so, why would anyone recruit a Sudanese to bomb a mosque in Sapele?

All this crap is so the core-North can continue to lord it over Nigeria, but it is not helping them. I do not see a core-Northerner ruling this country again, from now until kingdom come.

Dude, I never said section of the country are supporting boko haram, rather "elite" from sections of the country are in support of boko haram. Two very different things with clear meanings.
I am wondering why some of you reply to my posts without first reading them. Its annoying.

Those who sponsored the subsidy protests are also covert supporters of boko haram (in fact boko haram actually released a statement in their support).

Anyways, reread my post and take what I said to heart, because that is the perception and it is backed by observation.

Why you people tell lies is a mystery! When you concoct your wild MEND stories, you effectively forget that GEJ's only house was blown up by MEND in 2007, leaving him to scurry around for a place to bury his dad who died shortly after. Yet, he is in cohorts with MEND?
You should err on the side of caution when making your grandiose claims that are quixotic at best.

Yenagoa — ESCALATING militancy in the oil-rich Niger-Delta region yesterday assumed a frightening dimension, when unidentified gunmen bombed and destroyed the country home of vice-president-elect, Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, killing four policemen.

Similarly, an explosion rocked Barrat Hotel in the state capital Yenagoa, said to be owned by deputy speaker of the state Assembly, Bright Ereware, on Tuesday night, causing pandemonium as people ran for their lives.

What a funny thread!

I recall someone asking why Tinubu wasn't there. Lol! One of the SS representatives might have simply strangled him. Simple as. cool
Even though many parts of the SS left the Western Region in anger during Awo's time, his faction of SW leadership is the only recognised one. Nobody does deals with drug pushers.

Another set of people claimed it was a PDP thing, yet the likes of Olu Falae and Gani Adams attended. A Sovereign National Conference is in everyones interest, that awareness was the goal of the meeting.

You also forgot the SW has over 30 billion barrel of Oil.
Covert use of boko haram to further political interests is equivalent to supporting boko haram, because you end up doing the civilian aspect of the job for them.
People like you will always let ethnic bigotry rattle your thinking. Firstly, I was careful enough to say "the elite of two ethnic majority groups have sided with the boko haram," not that entire ethnic groups are sponsors of boko haram as you have tried to twist it. Bigots like you are off no use to either your own people or to Nigeria.

I have made a very clear statement as to what perceptions are concerning boko haram. Please take it home with you and pull back from the brink.
Politics › Re: An Assessment On The State Of The STATE by Beaf: 12:01am On Jan 23, 2012
The subsidy faction was never really separate from the boko haram faction, and the sudden removal of the subsidy helped to show who was where in very glaring light; the tanks in Lagos seem to be playing several tactical roles.
GEJ has been able to form his own solid power block, although it took him longer because the elite of two ethnic majority groups have sided with the boko haram faction.

Nigeria's biggest problem is ethnic bigotry. The future portends a breakup if the boko haram faction persists, because even a toddler knows that the battle is all about control of Nigeria's oil resources by wicked people who do not care for the average person and see the ND person, in the bowels of whose Earth the oil sits, as an impediment.

I am afraid we are seeing a situation where each region will have to source for income outside oil and for territory outside the Niger Delta and South East. There will not be a united army to fight a civil war against these two sections of the country; indeed, we will likely see a splintering into core-North, South West and the rest.

The only reason Nigeria would remain together is if predominantly, the US wants the core-North to remain in the country for two reasons; to be subjugated as a bulwark against radical extremists threatening the lifting of oil and to stop Nigeria's massive population from distabilising new US oil interests in Ghana and the bight of Guinea. The interests of America do not bode well for none SE/SS and Middle Belt regions.

Jokes apart, it is really babaric that in this day and age women are actually stripped in public, because of some silly tradition that requires them to wear dresses. Dresses? huh
When did this tradition of wearing dresses even kick off? Malawi is an African country and I can bet that the dresses they are trying to enforce are European. It just makes the whole thing silly; its an excuse for voyeurism at best by sex starved abusers.

Dude, I wish people like you would quit your id!otic "government mole" thing, especially as I do not work for the govt. Politics › Re: Our Next Ig Should Be A Foreigner by Beaf(op): 2:53am On Jan 22, 2012
Many of us who have never been priviledged to leave the borders of Nigeria cannot fathom the concepts of a culture of organisation and due process. Institutions in successful countries are built on those concepts from scratch; they are concepts that propel other countries up the ladder of development and excellence. Every police force aught to be built on such foundations, but ours is little more than a gang of thugs whose investigative and intellectual abilities are "puzzling."

If such a culture could be hammered into our police force, it would make a miraculous difference.

I do not know of any police service in the developed World that would operate without DNA eqquipment, forensic labs, radios and other communication gadgets. But the bosses of our police force here either see these things as an obstruction to "roger" taking, or are so half-baked that they can barely read, talkless of operating some new fangled technology.
We have to be honest with ourselves that all our police are champs at are "suyaing and peppersouping," pulling the trigger to let off "accidental discharges" and applying murderous kicks to the innocent of the type even Lucifer would be too faint hearted to attempt.

It is the culture in the police that is most important; a foreigner will come readymade with backup of a lifetime steeped in the proper environment, valuable experience of psychological causes and reactions, attitudes, reading signs hidden to the average eye, checks and balances, documentation, interfacing with academia, research institutions, intellectual application, modern investigative techniques etc.
With such a person in place, the total rebuilding of a parallel police force to replace the "roger" takers can proceed. After a period of years, it would be possible to completely retire the old force and the foreigner can then either go home or remain in an advisory capacity.
Politics › Re: Our Next Ig Should Be A Foreigner by Beaf(op): 2:52am On Jan 22, 2012
For those talking about our national pride, well. . . LOL!
What pride is there in our current police force and what senior officer has got any sort of experience that is better than agricultural or cut and nail? Nothing new or redemptive can from from those quarters. We have failed in the training of our police force for decades now, the punks we have in uniform deserve only to be retired, but we cannot retire them into a vacuum, hence the suggestion of a foreigner to come in and build a parallel force.

If anybody is concerned about a foreigner assuming such a senior position because of state secrets, then they have little to fear. Nigeria has no state secrets. For 49+ years, the place was run like a yam shop. There is nothing worth stealing.
Also, we do not have to get a white guy (nothing wrong with that) if people are uncomfortable with it. There are many black British and American officers that could do the job.
In fact there could be Nigerians who have reached high ranks in police forces in the developed World and could be lured home with the right agreements, however it would be best to bring in someone with no ties to Nigeria.

Yes, image is everything indeed, but I've come to realise that Nigerian companies rely more on the phone than on the internet. That is one more bridge we have to cross, I certainly wouldn't have a company with a poor website, but many of the older generation will.

You need to check out our various websites, like the CBN, army, ports authority etc; they are mostly nothing to write home about. Nobody can argue though, that the CBN and army do not function efficiently.

You should be checking if they have a solid name, before commenting on their website, which they might have forgotten even exists.
It is only after you have discovered that they have no name that comments on their website can be accepted as corroboration. Many in that company might not even be aware it has a website.

Why are some Nigerians so petty and silly?

The website is poor, yes, but that does not in any way impinge on their effectiveness as auditors. We should be judging them on their past work if they are known or just a startup etc.
There are several companies that do not rely on the web for business and only keep a token web presence. There are many top Nigerian businesses that do not run a website, or are even worse than the one people are pointing at. You wanna see succesful businesses in the West that run crap sites?
