expert555:Should GEJ resign for your village chief to take over? What message would his resignation pass? Some posts seem like they have come out of an anus. There isn't a single sentence that one would even credit to a toddler above. We should think things through before embarrassing ourselves in public. 'Just some wise words for you to ponder. |
Lol! Haters really enjoy boko haram killings. It gives them a taste of the blood they really crave. I created a thread that shows that there were 3 times as many deaths from maitatsine riots in Buhari's time than from boko haram. That thread is here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-833495.0.html The problem with many Nigerians is that they prefer sentiment to engaging their minds. Okogie's opinion is personal to him and I couldn't care less about it, wiser people always say upbuilding things in times of crisis, maybe not Okogie. The other day, it was the ACN publicity secretary, Bisi Akande claiming that boko haram was a revolution! Leaders indeed! Nothing is surprising in Nigeria, particularly when it comes from certain quarters. |
The article sounds fantastic and "herb" inspired, they are not even sure of their figures; they quote both 500million and 5billion. Someone should have told the editor that such a gap is too massive for a news agency with any credibility to report to the public. But then, there is a section of the public that laps up iya akara stories and bunkum spiced id!ocy with relish. |
okstol: @gbogboti, I'm not surprised dat u sounded like a cat fish. Look around ND and tell me what those your megalomaniac governors did with d money they received from d fg? If I'm not mistaking, nd is least developed region in dis country. U should be ashamed of urself dat other regions in dis country are trying their best to chase away those dat has been crippling our economy. Timipre Silva Uduaghan lavished d allocations of Bayelsa and delta respectively. In fact, u are d biggest fo*ol of 2011. Anu-mpama.I seriously feel like slapping people that make statements as foolish as the bolded. In most cases, the people committing such sacriledge have never ever left their forest states. For your info, after Lagos the next two most developed states (and by a bloody long shot too) are Rivers and Delta. But maybe someone has moved them out of the ND these days. If it is ethnic bigotry or ignorance worrying you, then go eat hard rocks. Scarab. |
I wonder how far Bisi Akande will go to sell his own mother and his own kids to feel his pocket. What kind of animal would call boko harams bombing of innocent women and children a revolution? Those who have died are generally young enough to have as well been his grandchildren or his childrens newborns. How can a man be such a fool in his old age? What a cold blooded id!ot! |
Buhari was also Abacha's thief in PTF. Abacha built a private refinery in Sierra Leone with FG money, then removed fuel subsidies so he and his cronies (like Buhari and IBB) could loot the country by being the sole importers of fuel. Buhari helped push the largesse of corruption through PTF, in one instance, Buhari gave the PTF estate at Wuse away to a contractor in a sweetheart deal. |
Buhari's coup was to to stop incriminating probes into NNPC, lets not forget that he stole $2.8billion which had been traced to his Midland Bank account in the UK by Saraki's Senate committee probe. After Buhari's boys had shredded all the papers at NNPC (4 months into office), the phucker actually announced that he was ready to resign on tv! The saga threw the country into real confusion. It was Idiagbon and his cabinet that saved the day by assuming power, Buhari preferred to hang about and use sirens. Buhari also got NTA's Vera Ifudu sacked for announcing the findings of Saraki's Senate committee on NTA. She challenged the sacking, won the case and was paid damages. |
This is either a youth corper killer or an arsehole. ![]() https://www.republicreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Buhari.jpg All hail BB, the everlasting candidate! ![]() Buhari wuz 'ere; 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011. Will be deh 2015, 2019, 2023, 2027. In "spirit" from 2031, 2035, 2039 etc etc etc etc Burnt the phucking place down in '11. "Who is boko haram?" Lol! |
Relax101:Those two are hate filled, lost subhumans who are not worth anyones time. Imagine, Rhino.5dm saying that the dead boko haram leader was a "cool dude!" Or oyb saying all ND people should be rounded up in cattle cars and gassed? Just because he hates GEJ? |
Beaf, I saw lies, i saw Buhari and I saw Maitatsine in the heading. . . . so I thought I should see what you cooking. It smells good but can you make it more flavorable for tatse? Where does lies, buhari, maitatsine connect with Boko? I understand the logical link that Boko is, possibly, a remnant of Maitatsine reformated. I am lost though on what Buhari has to do with that reformation? Can you please clarify.
Its simple, each time there is a bombing, Buhari's followers (and the man himself) begin hopping happily and telling huge lies about how Buhari quenched the maitatsine scourge. Well, it is evident that the maitatsine cult was not defeated and persists until today. It is also evident that the maitatsine murderers killed between 1000 and 2000 people during Buhari's reign, armed with only sticks and stones. A figure that the modern boko haram, armed with bombs is far from matching. If maitatsine animals could wipe out so many innocent souls under a military dictatorship, should the ex-dictator and his followers come out lying about how they snuffed out maitatsine? Instead, does it not raise suspicion that the animals were left to slaughter at will and their leader killed as a token as happened to boko harams Ustaz Muhammad? |
dayokanu:I guess the real retards are those like you, people who pull rumours straight out of their sorry gory arses to "counter" articles and positions that are backed up with solidly verifiable references and impeccable logic. Mek una dance e! Celebrate! Hunters, rewires and hedgehog chasers have come to an intellectual debate! Wonders!! ![]() |
Olodostein:I takes an unintellegent person to make silly assumptions about people they do not know. I have been to every part of Nigeria and rubbed shoulders with more ethnic groups than most can muster. I will repeat that you do sound like a confused family selling coward who thinks it is easy to dump on the ND because they are minorities. Your type is common. As I said before, the type who will insist that your rap!st neighbour use the bed like a civilised man, even while he is looting your crown jewels. One last thing, I don't speak in riddles like a coward, maybe you should learn to do that as part of the uniform you wear. |
I wonder why some people are too dull to either counter a topic intelligently or just waka pass if dia brain no get weight? ![]() |
^ Abacha boy, you sound sooooooooooooooooo angry!!! Why na? ![]() Take your brain out of your drippy hairy arse and wash it in a bucket of omo so you can use it. But if it still won't function, I have some smoked rat brains I can post to you. They are better than the one in your head! Holla if you need one! LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! |

Nigerian prophets as fraudsters Written by Abiodun Awolaja Wednesday, 28 December 2011 IN this church, there is a young man who has a marital problem. If only you can believe, your problems are over,” the pastor would say in the lodges called churches, and at least four young men would come out. What kind of joke is this? In a church of over 900 persons, how would there not be persons with marital challenges? It seems that when Nigerians go to church, they leave their brains behind at home. Hear Primate T.O Olabayo: “President Goodluck Jonathan is not the messiah that the nation needs at the moment. Even before Jonathan became president, I had predicted that his time will witness a lot of terrorism and bombings (Will these things be absent during the messiah’s hour?) That time, I advised that a northerner should be allowed to rule first (so that the messiah from the South could come next? Or so that he could hand over to a fellow northerner, the Jehu?); that Jonathan is still young (at above 50? Is Jehu/Messiah an old fellow then?) He (Jonathan) is a forerunner, not the messiah.’’(fair enough). “Nigeria has not seen anything. Next year is going to be tough. We may (this is tentative) witness a revolution similar to what happened in Egypt. The poor will face the rich (a natural law of dialectics). There will be no war, but what is going to happen will be more than war.(Can the Primate be a bit more specific?) There will be hunger and anger (these are constant realities in Nigeria) and this will lead to problems.’’ “What will happen in the country will be very pathetic. Nigerians should prepare for sacrifices (how?) in order that they do not become the sacrificial lamb (or perhaps goat). It is a year that the untouchables (the likes of Babangida? Obasanjo? Who? Boko Haram sponsors?) will be consumed. The problem of Boko Haram and terrorism will be on the increase (this is an ordinary statement). It is a year that the military will strike although there will be no coup.’’ Now, now, Mr Olabayo, jokes apart. Has the gentleman prophet read Adewale Ademoyega’s Why We Struck? How can the military strike and yet there will be no coup? If the military strikes, it is going beyond the realm of obedience to civil authorities, right? Is this an open challenge to the Federal Government? Olabayo then waxes very bold: “There will be anarchy and young officers will take over reign of power (from Goodluck Jonathan) and put things right.’’ Is this the secret desire of the prophet, to “put things right’’? There will be no coup, and yet young officers will take over? Young officers like Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeajuna? Young officers are dangerous. Olabayo continues: ‘’The year 2012 will be a year of divine flourishing for the righteous. But for the wicked, it is a year people will take their blood.’’ My! 2012 will be a very bloody year when the people will take the law into their own hands! Perhaps it will be, in the words of novelist Helon Habila, “bloody brilliant’’! The courts will be useless then, and judges will collapse in their dirty gowns as they try running for cover, to avoid the wrath of the incensed mob advancing towards the controversial and lunatic Court of Appeal! ’’Those that enslave us, God will deal with them (amen). Although cases of corruption will be on the rise in the country (this is right, because there is “too much money” in politics and in the corporate world) and the poor will continue to suffer in the new year (this is a factual curse), their prayer will be heard and a Messiah will emerge (in preparation for 2015?)’’ Primate Olabayo’s Jehu postulations are mortally fractured, as Jehu is not an inspiring Bible character at all, but a total ingrate who served idols after wiping out idolaters. His prophecy is dull, incoherent and insane. By the way, my recent piece on Guru Maharaji drew the anger of his devotees. Here is a reaction on the Tribune website entitled “Think beyond physical before making any decision,” written by one Rufai Olayemi Hafeez, on December 18, 2011 : “When the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, the angels of the lord uses violence to taketh it by force. It’s so shameful that somebody like Awolaja can write such a castigating article against the SATGURU MAHARAJ JI. Mr Awolaja, it seems you were involved in school politics when you were in university because you talk like a politician but I must tell you that if you don’t know something, try to make an effective research on that particular thing so that you won’t be joking with everything you are doing and what you have just done has proved that you are so daft towards the professional work of journalism. “My advice for you is that you make deep research about who SATGURU MAHARAJ JI is and beg for forgiveness of the creator because what you’ve just done has a repercussion and don’t forget that we are very close to leaving this year (2011) behind, you know. So ask for The CREATOR’s forgiveness so that you can be free from the wrath of the SEVEN ELEMENTS of the Creation. The SUN that is shining on you, The MOON that lightens the night, The MOTHER EARTH you are standing on, The WATER you cannot do without, The AIR you breathe in, The STAR which convey your destiny, and FIRE which I believed you know what it can do. These elements are all children of MAHARAJ JI and are ready to fight for their father’s image. So Awolaja, seek MAHARAJ JI’s forgiveness because you cannot eat your cake and still want to have it; and also, always THINK BEYOND PHYSICAL BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY DECISION BECAUSE EVERY STEP YOU TAKE IN THIS LIFE IS BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH. IRE O……” My being in 2012 is settled, not at the whims of Mr Guru, and this is an open challenge. Let me provoke Mr Hafeez further by saying that I am more precious than all the elements of creation because God made me in his own very image, and I will be on this very earth long after all the gods of the earth, including Guru Maharaj ji, whom God has promised to famish ( Zepahaniah 2), have been cast in the lake of fire. Awolaja is on the Politics Desk of the Nigerian Tribune http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/opinion/33364-nigerian-prophets-as-fraudsters |
^ Dude, you sound like an anus with a voice. Olodostein:You are clearly one of those id!ots that insists on being politically correct when the butcher next door has finished with your wife and is calling for your daughter. I don't know if your problem is cowardice, but whatever it is, there is an amazing degree of foolishness playing football all over your tongue. I hope none of yours is anywhere near Abuja or the North. |
sheyguy:Don't you feel embarrassed to sound like this? I feel embarrassed just reading such stuff. For your info, there is nothing the ND cannot face. Go find out who sent IBB packing from Lagos, then find out why your hear phrases like, Warri no de carry last. There is nothing to fear from anybody, afterall every last kobo of Nigeria's money comes from the ND, anybody fighting us will be very very sorry for making such a grave mistake. |
TheWill is beginning to sound as silly as Sahara Reporters. Aside from the mention of the Mauritanian ex-premiere Maaouya Ould Taya, the rest of the story is like listening to low quality, rambling stup!dity. But maybe it will create joy for the likes of Crap 28. Disgusting. |
frosbel:And what makes you think it was an attack on Hausa's, rather than what happened with the first bomb? The first explosion was due to internal tension within the Hausa community, this one is very likely the same. It is if they hit a Delta state person that matters will change, because pipul for dat side no de hear word. |
Its best to either place the Muslims under 24 hour armed guard, or bus them out of Delta state. It is easy to see that something is gonna happen soon in Sapele, if not, then Warri or Ughelli. If any blood is spilt in the Niger Delta, y'all can kiss Nigeria goodbye, because that region will break away and I see the SE following suit. |
Buhari did not even defeat maitatsine. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-833495.0.html I pity anybody that is not part of the oligarchy, but is daft enough to sell their mothers and their kids, because they are too lazy to seek information and get educated. |
National Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Bisi Akande yesterday described the spate of bombings in the North allegedly sponsored by an Islamic sect, Boko Haram, as a sign of silent revolution brewing in the country. It is easy to see that Bisi Akande is an unrefined fool. |
Shege Beaf!!! you sabi talk well well. Do you know what is baffling me? in other threads you claim BH has came to distract Jonathan's government. Now you want to convince me that boko haram is an extension of Maitasine. what are you trying to do? distort the history, we all knew how Buhari swept out maitatsine, or you are trying to say he didn't??
Argue with the numerous articles I cited. We cannot continue to go with sentimental assertions and make believe. The argument that boko haram is an offshoot of maitatsine does not take away from the fact that it is a political tool, just like maitatsine was. All we have seen is the killing of the leaders, only for others to take their place. Neither does your groundless assertion take away from the fact that maitatsine killed thousands in Buhari's time, armed with sticks and bows, without phones, internet, bombs or any sophisticated weapons. How could that have happened under a military dictatorship. Did someone deliberately stand aside while thousands were bludgeoned to death? How are such figures possible? Even present times, with the internet, twitter, mobile phones, sophisticated weapons from Libya and readily available bomb recipe's from the web, there have been 360 deaths in the same time frame that Buhari's regime mounted thousands. It is really strange that eye-popping thousands died in Buhari's time and yet his followers are manufacturing history! Kala Kato have repeatedly killed hundreds of people since the 90's and they openly claim to be maitatsine, yet Buhari claims to have defeated the group. We've also learnt that the last leader of maitatsine was arrested in Nigeria in 2004, yet Buhari is supposed to have crushed maitasine. Can you tell me what has happened to him? For all we know, he could be the new leader or so-called spokesman of boko haram. They are all expendable political tools, used and killed after they have killed thousands. Who is revising history, and why? ![]() |
youngmonie:If you do not know what such information serves, then you might be lost. This sort of education is for the wise younger ones that wish to learn and the older ones who strayed from the path of knowledge and wish to return. Education nourishes the mind with wisdom, health, morality, principle and decorum. |
afam4eva:Why na? I'm good at math and I basically write algorithms for a living; so I'm always looking up math ideas to compliment my code and after years of doing it, it has occurred to me that even highest applied math is very easily and naturally expressed in code. Loops for example, are calculus on steroids; with loops, you could do everything calculus can do and a World of stuff calculus cannot dream off; and its the same in all other areas of math. In math you have strict grey-bearded conventions, whereas in programming there is a natural and easily comprehensible logical flow. Because code is written in natural language and algorithms mimic the real World, a programmer can do every last thing a mathematician can do, but a mathematician cannot do the half a programmer can. Therefore, it is better to replace math with programming. In fact it is easy to predict that our grandchildren will not study math, instead they would study scientific computing. |
adamabdul:Who gives a damn about what you think. @topic All that Buhari did was kill the the Camerounian Muhammadu Marwa (Maitatsine), while the maitatsine was allowed to continue flourishing; just the same way Yar Adua killed Ustaz Mohammed and left boko haram to fester. It is history repeating, like a video tape on rewind. These organisations have been continously beheaded with their followership left intact; not just that, but the major tools of recruitment (abject poverty and almajinci) have been left to multiply exponentially. It is noteworthy that Buhari ruled in an age without the internet and mobile phones, yet the maitatsine, unaided by bomb recipies from the web and without the instant communications and organisational advantages mobile phones bring; armed with sticks and stones, maitatsine riots claimed the lives of an eye-popping 5000! Under Buhari's military dictatorship, it is estimated that between 1000 - 2000 died at the hands of maitatsines sticks, stones and daggers. Did someone sit back and allow it happen? Yet, for some unfathomable reason many liars are in the streets trying to paint black into white. Even in todays high-tech World where bomb designs are a mere google away and mobile phone are a dime to the dozen, boko haram has accounted for 360 deaths. Therefore, one must ask why the loud lies and sordid politics over blood from Buhari's people. Life is a precious thing, but for evil people, it is a political tool to be used against an "infidel" government. It is very dangerous ground to tread; let those with ears hear. As we speak, perhaps other murderers are being kept out of harms way and trained as the next boko haram leaders. How else could this 2009 story be interpreted? The real problem is the use of religion as a tool of political "persuasion" in the core-North. Maitatsine and Boko Haram - Lessons Not Learnt |
Gboliwe:Thank you. Please accept my commiserations, I recall something you said on another thread. May the Good Lord salve your heart and the hearts of your loved ones; may He fill you with peace. |
IbroSaunks:And programming loops do it in a totally natural way thats suited to the problem at hand. In fact, many non-starters in math can grasp programming methods much better than they can grasp formal math formula's, so should we not be teaching programming rather than math in schools? |
Everything you can do in math, you can achieve in programming, but programming does much more than math alone can ever attempt to do. Therefore, I'll turn the question on its head by stating that; to be a math guru, one is advised to take up programming. |
In truth, Maitatsine lasted much longer than 5 years, because even the British had problems with Marwa. The deeper question that needs answering, is why the core-North is always fertile ground for extremist religion and religion laced politics. Why have the virulent methods and theology of Maitatsine survived through boko haram and its twin, kala kato? |
