Lol! I see the pathetic winshes are still flying around, lamenting their failed and disgraceful mission. They have even forgotten about their corrupt hero, Dino Melaye! Wonders! Poor things are attacking those who defeated them and have since forgotten about the foolish Farouk luv'n thread. Thread fail, winsh fail! ![]() What a pack of losers! Make I cry for una jare! Weennnnnnhhhh! Mama come o! Eweeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn! Moooooooooo! Mauuuuuuuuu!!!' https://gifs.gifbin.com/062010/1277899575_crocodile-tears.gif https://starcasm.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/oprah_laughing_animated_gif.gif |
This is why a good name is worth more than diamonds. Just a few montha ago, most people were swearing to Farouks name; now what he has been up to for 11 years has been revealed. What a shame. ![]() |
There is a reason the Farouk luv'n El Rufai/Tinubu ghouls are going crazy on this thread; it is simply that they fear that the owners of Nigeria, the rustlers of our commonwealth, have been dazzled, dazed and damnified. Their fears are real. ![]() The real purpose of Farouks committee was to hide the sins of their masters, while playing 2015 politics to hound and rope in those who sat outside of their abominable circle. We are all already aware of the dollar in cap saga. They say, proof is in the numbers, so here goes; Farouks corrupt committee judged that only N230 billion needed to be refunded (mostly from political "prisoners''), while Aig-Imoukhuede's report DOUBLE'S that amount to N422 billion. Who be fool? Winshes, go and sleep, jare! The trap is closing in on you, slowly, but surely. ![]() "Softly, softly, catch monkey." |
--Please read post below with strong Warri accent-- This post paaaaaaaaaaaain many winsh! But winsh na winsh and winsh must fly! ![]() Beaf: I am surprised that there are actually people being id!ots over this news. |
ishmael: Lagos can, and have been surviving without oil money. Take Lagos out of that list.Lets deal with facts only. No state has survived without oil money since 1970, neither can any state survive without oil money today. |
KINGwax: yeah, if i wasn't sane enough to undstnd dt before the oil bloom Nigeria was doing fine in Agriculture, i would have believed you. What fuckin things has the oil been driving except enriching the corrupts' pockets? Did it actually provide d baskets used in farm, legs the villagers used in trekking, did it provide the loans the farmers collected wit interest or d ones that was jes news and was never seen, did it provide d bad roads and difficulties entailed in getting their goods to town?I'm sure the farmers climb over tree's and rocks to get their produce to market places. No? Do they use roads provided with oil money? Wonders!! |
paix: I enjoy light 24/7 in my area (Kaduna South) for the past 6 weeks now. I learnt the (NIPP) power project has been commissioned. Gush, what a relieve. Keep up the good work friends.Up GEJ! |
I am surprised that there are actually people being id!ots over this news. The Aig Imokhuede committee has turned up more names than Farouks, it has also increased the amount we were defrauded by. Certain attitudes are not normal. Sometimes, you have to ask if certain folk are unredeemably foolish or if their motives are evil. ![]() Abeg gimme Fresh Air, jare! |
Peterson1993: says who. All scripts of any website are written whether on note pad or what ever. Those webs you mentioned where created with self made codes and scripts written on notepad or any other text editor and not most webs this days using OSS and the open source script was even written by the supposed great coders..!. If you view the source code, you will hardly believe it was actually written by a human beings but we can all be genius to ourselves if we believeYou can get away with CSS and HTML in notepad in a big firm. But dude, I can guarantee that if you try coding C++, C#, Java etc in notepad in places at the level of Facebook, Google, Ebay, Amazon etc, you will quickly be shortlisted for sacking for being unable to follow standards, unproductive, difficult etc. |
Castos: Imagine a town whose traditional ruler is a former PHCN assistant manager in Abuja. The electrons flows, the bulb burns, the fuse don tire and it blows, all films are watched, video games are completed, speaker don burst, battery don overfull, na beg we dey beg PHCN make dem take light for the sake of the bad old days. Even kids dey feel too big to shout UPUNEPAAAAAA!!! My town to much.Lol! One day is one day! Unu go take laf make monkey fall o! ![]() |

Kovi's Cateram was 7th in 2nd practise. Wonders! I wonder if it portends a huge improvement, during practice, their manager even pointed out the different sound of the engine as proof of the massive nature of their upgrades. Well, we'll soon see if their new form is real or fluke. |
I learnt something new today! I always knew F1 cars could shift a lot of water into the air from the track in wet conditions, but thanks to Gary Anderson today, during todays 2nd practice, he put an actual figure of up 60 litres per second into the air! He also claimed that it amounted to the equivalent of one olympic sized pool in total per lap! Again... Damn! F1 is one really high tech field. Woulda loved to work in it. |
This has got to be the silliest statement ever! ![]() We should make sure to vote these foolish individuals out. |
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrain! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrain!!! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrain!!! |

kalokalo: @ OPPreach, bro! ![]() Oil pays for everything in Nigeria, all amenities, services, utilities etc, police, army, airports, roads, schools, hospitals... It almost pays for the air we breath even. I keep preaching to people to learn to hold their local politicians to account; reps, LG bosses, governors etc. But would Nigerians hear? They remain deaf and tied to awuf, yet if that "free" money suddenly dries up tomorrow (as it will in a maximum of 10 years) then Somalia will look like Las Vegas to us, parents will eat their babies, husbands would kill their wives to eat... It will be dire, lights out, cataclysmic, total doomsday. Let each and every one of us demand local delivery and accountability from our LG's, reps, states etc. Let us all preach true federalism with fevered vigour, that is our only hope for a bright future. |
Let's take all4naija's 70% of GDP estimate and see where it leads us. ~2 million barrels of oil per day. ~$100 value. ~365 days. octave:4> 2*1e6*100*365/1e9 ans = 73 So $73 billion economy from just oil exports. Let's say associated oil services add +50% to that. We get to roughly $110 billion. Now, using all4naija's 70% figure, we get that the total Nigeria economy is $160 billion. I think the general sense people have is that Nigeria's economy is closer to $250 billion+, not only $160. So either the economist are vastly overestimating the size of Nigeria's economy....or this 70% estimate produced by all4naija is way too high.
Nigeria earns more than 100 billion dollars from oil and gas per annum. |
Pataki: LOL! When I read the foolishness of beaf, I laugh.Paid agent! How much did Tinubu and El Rufai pay you to talk this crap? How much did your conscience cost? What did your soul and the mortgaging of the future of your kids cost? Pathetic. ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/747780_PaidAgents_jpg23aabd9dc39f5a836e53102ca915a482 |
A negative value for net export does not mean a country has no exports, rather it means that it imports more than it exports (a phucked economy). Currencies can only be accurately valued by comparing against values for export items. |
shymmex:Bro, stop being a dunce.- According to the World Bank and DFID, Lagos’ 2009 GDP is estimated at N4.163tn. Lagos which is a mega-city is the largest contributor to the national GDP at 18%.Do the maths! - the oil producing states are in bold.. What you have there is the measure of development of each state WITHOUT OIL. The easy way to know that oil is not included is that Bayelsa and Delta vie for 2nd position after Rivers in oil production. If you factor in oil, Bayelsa would be right at the top, below or above Delta. <begin digression> The World Bank figures make Delta state out to be Nigeria's most developed state, even more developed than Lagos! Nice! ![]() Lagos states population ships in at 18million (approx), so $33,679,258,023 / 18,000,000 = $1900 (approx) produced per person Delta States population is 7million (approx), giving $16,749,250,544 / 7,000,000 = $2400 (approx) produced per person Up Deta!!! ![]() <end digression> |
I'm gonna break this into little chunks for those who do not understand. 1. Oil accounts for 80% of the FG's earnings. 2. The FG sustains all states with oil awuf. 3. State and LG allocations go toward waterworks, education, roads, hospitals, bridges, waterways, salaries, amenities etc. Without oil money, no portion of the country would have enough money for waterworks, education, roads, hospitals, salaries, amenities etc etc. farm money cannot build these things, cos the farmers are already half dead from hunger, exhaustion and deprivation. I hope its now understood? Very simplistic, but spot on. |
OAM4J: No the money exists, they are with the farmers. The farmers use the money to sustain themselves and their families. These farmers are not being paid by the government with Abuja oil money. Let us even agree that Borno State Govt cannot pay his civil servants without oil money from Abuja, the question is; what is the % of the civil servants of Borno State to the whole population of Borno State? Now you will understand why Agriculture is the major source of income of Borno people because the earn/feed/survive more income from Agriculure than from Abuja oil money. It is money from allocations from oil that builds roads, schools, hospitals and a vast and assorted array of other services. Farmers benefit directly from oil money, as does every person living within the borders of Nigeria. |
The onus is on you to define new terminology that you introduce (e.g. '95% of our growth engine'), not on me to ask what you mean.
Ok, keep arguing blindly. I can't help you. Others were able to get what I was talking about quite easily. |
Katsumoto: We are pulling figures from thin air Beaf. How can anyone say Nigerians produce nothing? There are lots of industries in Nigeria that produce many goods from plastics to alcohol, to beverages. Second, there are many strong service industries in Nigeria such as telecomms, entertainment, food services, recreational, etcDude, you guys fascination with GEJ is unhealthy and very exasperating. What has GEJ got to do with this topic? Is he a governor or LG chairman? Bro, please lets stick to the issues at hand instead dragging in completely disconnected matters and persons. Every figure I gave you is backed up by verifiable and authoritative sources. Your claim that Nigerians are productive with, "plastics to alcohol, to beverages," "strong service industries in Nigeria such as telecomms, entertainment, food services, recreational" etc pales when it is realised that our GDP PPP for 2011 is $2,500. Can a person who makes only $2,500 a year be said to be productive? I very much doubt so. Katsumoto: Saying that Kenya has a more diversified economy is a personal opinion. You are of that position because it is your view that the oil industry is the only industry in Nigeria. Where did you get the figures of Kenya's GDP from? It is instructive that you use Kenya whose Agric industry contributes approximately 20% but employs 75% of the population. How did you arrive at oil being 40% of GDP? Are you using data from a source different from that posted by the OP?By simple deduction from popular figures for the percentage agriculture provides our GDP (45%) and employment for 50%, there really shouldn't be the startling wealth gaps we se at street level; it is like half the population providing half the GDP. All lies. I'm certainly using different sources from the OP, the sources all vary very wildly because the figures are basically made up. On the day someone shows me a road that was built with the proceeds from yam sales, I will finally believe that we don't need oil. I'm sure this thread will eventually diversify into a discussion of optimum political structures (you know mine from long ago, about killing ethnic bigotry with the composition of the Senate and House), but you are right, lets leave that for now. As for my doomsday scenario, it is for if we do not diversify our economy and restructure our political architecture within the next 10 or so years when oil will begin drying out and losing commodity appeal. If that happens, we will be propelled through a labyrinth of horrors of an unspeakable kind; we are more primitive than Rwanda was when... Nuff said. |
^ Thanks bro. Slizbeat: I would always say this, "the problem with Nigeria is the masses and not the govt, till the masses become clever, then we shall forge ahead". We keep complaining and yet we do nothing about it. Mehn c'mon, this is democracy where the voice of the masses should be heard not the military era where we dont have freedom of speech but when anyone starts the motion, he will get paid to keep it low and inturn he betrays the rest. "CORRUPTION" is just like a virus and if we dont format it now, it might get to the level of HIV which is incurable for now but has drugs to elongate ones life who has it. So all am trying to explain is that if we think Impeaching GEJ is best for us, then move the motion. If prosecuting lawan without evidence is possible and best for us, then move the motion. Its just like praying to God for success in your forthcoming exams yet you are always the 1st man at the football viewing center wi†hout reading anything †owards the exam, how you wan come pass?? Lets try to help ourselves.Beaf endorses this post. ![]() People, go out, open your eyes, demand and get what is yours, Nigeria belongs to all of us. Above all, let us each educate ourselves about how the country functions; many will weep inconsolably when the scales drop off their eyes. You think you have seen anything? Wait until your eyes open. |
