abagoro:As usual, you provide some low IQed entertainment! ![]() . . ."Core Niger Deltans"!!! Damn!!!! ![]() |
mikeansy:You are blaming the victim. Individuals have different strengths, some can bear heavy loads in a given circumstance, while others break; some might have an escape route (friends, family, luck etc), while others have the exact opposite. Even if all the boys were born bad (scientific impossibility), would you blame them for having less opportunity than is available elsewhere in the country? When employment hope is lost, others can farm, they can't; others can fish, they can't. They simply have no fallback from rampant unemployment; to make things that bit more hellish, they also have a higher incidence of skin, respiratory and other pollution related health problems. For some folk, the rope is really thin. Rather than govt looking at the underlying issues, they decided to first arm up JTF with $3.5billion for offensives in the ND. That money is now wasted. When the military offensive strategy failed, they decided to bribe every armed person in the ND in a sham amnesty; genuine militants and criminals alike. Now that foolish step is failing, where next? The simplest solution is to seat down and hammer out an equitable existence for every single Nigerian, especially those in the ND. That small step wouldn't cost $3.5billion, but it will be more effective than a million JTF's. The problems thrown up by Nigeria's strange federalism are amplified several fold in the ND. Fix Nigeria and stop blaming the victims. |
monkeyleg:Your point was simply to derail the thread with your sentimental posts as usual. If you don't mind, I'm having quite a productive conversation with mikeansy. Thank you. |
^ So, your point is? |
^ You are simply begging the question. Lets for reasons of analysis, assume you are correct that they were easy foot soldiers. What caused them to be foot soldiers? Was it that they were employed? we both know that the answer is no. So, if they were unemployed could they go back to their villages to farm or fish like is done in other parts of the country as a way out? Again the answer is no. The big questions you need to tackle are why they had nothing to fall back to and why they are so many. Over to you. |
^ Have you wondered whether the Ijaw - Itsekiri war was about money making? I can tell you for definite that it never ever was, so your whole writeup above is creaky, faulty and far away from the truth. As to the creeks being difficult terrain for Nigerian troops, lets make a slight correction; it is IMPOSSIBLE terrain for them. In the battles around Warri, they could only bomb at a distance from the the air, sea and land; whenever they entered the creeks, they came back as dead men, hence the amnesty even after arming JTF with $3.5billion. There is a common sense path that we can follow. |
monkeyleg:What is confusing you? |
@Rymz,For the fact that Iranian government agreed that the shipment came from them means they are ready to cooperate with our government and first thing Nigerian government should do is deal directly with Iranian government to a reasonable conclusion before you can jump into conclusion that Iran was behind the shipment or before making it a global crime. What I am saying is FG attempts to report to U.N is a weakness because we should be able to do that one our own. When Muttallab attempted to bomb american airline,U.S government didnt report us to U.N.
The only weakness is with your reasoning. Mutallab acted as an individual, whereas you do not ship weapons of that calibre without govt knowledge. The Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister was in Abuja over the weekend concerning the affair, he has aknowledged that the weapons came from Iran. What more evidence do you need to know that the Iranian govt is implicated? Have you ever heard of any country where individuals ship arms without govt knowledge, especially rockets manufactured by that govt? |
rekeson:Nigeria has always been ungovernable and it will remain so no matter who is President until the day we institute true federalism and equity for the common man. Every developed country has a contract between citizen and state, such that the citizen knows their exact rights and the duties of the state to them; the state on the other hand, acts as an umbrella of security to the citizen no matter where they are. In Nigeria, there is no such thing, its a jungle where we all simply exist as best as we can. In the absence of true federalism and a codified contract between citizen and state, we will continue to reap chaos; it has nothing to do with the person of the President. |
abagoro:Dude, you live on lies, so no biggie. The PH area where your experience is limited to, has always been a gangsters/cultists paradise, but PH is a tiny portion of the ND. In case you don't know, Delta state is the headquarters of the struggle, and that is the reason why JTF's efforts were very heavy there with bombing from the sea, land and air. So forget about Ateke and your Odili gangsters, but you wouldn't know better; you're like a person attempting to describe a crocodile when they have only ever seen a lizard. |
@ haka nai It is absolutely crazy for a man whose home hosts 10 million almajiri's to claim that his people are tired of those whose lands provide their food. If indeed your people are tired of the Niger Delta, why don't you simply pack out of the country? Afterall, your folk depend 100% on the ND and all your groundnut pyramids are gone for the sake of sweet crude. If you are tired and refuse to pack out, what is your alternative, to bite off more than you can chew or negotiate an equitable country? And just to get this clear with you, I am not an Ijaw man, so when you say tribalism you are misfiring so badly its actually funny. If you think bribery in the form of amnesty was the right approach, you better think again. I recall some research that says the average 9ja IQ is 70, it actually beginning to sound reasonable. Rather than think up ways to institute true federalism, the country spent $3.5billion kitting up JTF to destroy lives, only for JTF troops to return from the creeks bodybags in tens and twenties. . . $3.5billion down the drain (IQ of 70 revealed). In the face of defeat, the next thing was to offer bribes to all and sundry that could lay claim to an axe in the ND (IQ of 70 revealed). Now that it is obvious that bribery is failing, we have people like you advocating that we crank up JTF for previously tried and failed unlimited damage option again (IQ of 70 revealed). The only way out is true federalism. If any parasite claims it is tired, then bring on the fight, lets see what you've got and if sand can fund the warfare you crave. You will be done and dusted in less than two months (by the first week, you will already be crying out in hunger). It is for you people to sit down and think and do the right thing. |
^ That man looks like a zombie from a horror movie! |
^ Dude, nothing is wrong with my previous posts. The man is a criminal and should be dealt with. There is nobody in the ND fighting now since fortune smiled on the area. Any so called MEND is fake as attested to even by the foreign press who have noted that recent emails have even been coming from a fake address. Anybody claiming to be fighting now is either under the employ of dark political forces or is simply an armed robber. |
jason12345:Does anybody have that sort of info without being involved? Abagworo has been talking about the formation of a new deadly Efik / Ibibio militia for some time now. That sort of info isn't available on the streets. You never know who you could be talking to on NL. |
abagoro:Are you a MASSOB commander and how much do you know about this new "militant group that will emerge from Akwa-Cross axis?" In short, who is paying you people to shed blood? |
abagoro:Are you spreading false rumours in favour of the "deadly Efik/Ibibio" armed robbery group whose formation you claim to have insider knowledge of? I hope SSS get on your case. |
% |
jason12345:Don't be offended I used the word, traitor. I actually thought I had removed it, I was just a bit upset. We don't need to fall mugu for anybody playing dirty politics. No Niger Delta person is fighting at the moment. What would they be fighting for? It is all dirty politics. Like Asha80 said, Clark is from Delta state. |
aduboy:Do not generalise my statement. You have to ask yourself what anybody fighting in the Niger Delta really wants at this time, no genuine ND person is fighting in the creeks; they are all pretenders hired by dark political forces. |
jason12345:From your posts, it comes across like you don't like Ijaws and Igbo's. The last time I looked, there were Itsekiri militants, Urhobo militants etc, so how come you mention Jonathan as "one of their own?" that "we" have spent billions of dollars on. The only billion of dollars the govt has spent on the ND was the $3billion it took to arm the inefective JTF, whereas that money could have solved most of the polution problems in the ND. Your people too are militants, we need to be careful not to pander to some weak identity and watch our folk wasted, as if we are divorced from our roots. |
Blazay: Sheikh Ali Abbas Othman,0It is obviously the same sort of name as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. |
jason12345:I hope your village will be the next one to be destroyed, because people from your end of town are hardly any different from the Ijaws you hate. Your outbursts make you sound like a traitor who doesn't care how many villages are destroyed. Not all topics are meant for kids. |
abagoro:Dude shut up! Why do you keep calling me and then talking crap? If you are a member of your deadly Efik/Ibibio militia or an armed robber, govt will fish you out and deal with you. Last time a bomb went off in Delta state, you were screaming this deadly Efik/Ibibio militia nonsense, forgetting that there are no Efik or Ibibio in Delta state. Mumu. Abeg, make pesin see road jare! |
redsun:Dude, stop attempting your semi-literate tricks on me, keep that to your fellow wife p!mps. You cannot change the subject of our argument. Go back and read what I said were the rumours you live by. Stop being a coward running away from straightforward statements. I maintain that you live by rumour, gutter tricks and lack the morality to advice anybody. Even worse, your semi-literate explosions sound drug enhanced and inspired. |
redsun:How can a man who lacks morals so much that he would p!mp out the mother of his kids shout down from the mountain top about criminals. Dude, you are most likely one yourself. Painting innocent folk black is characteristic of the criminal mind. I laugh in gbongan! ![]() |
redsun:You must be a dunce who is behind time in the news (unsurprisingly). People like you live by rumour and gutter tricks anyway. Ribadu himself has stated it clearly over and over, that he never ever investigated Jonathans wife, rather it was all rumours by the usual political fools to bring down an opponent. There were petitions, but never an investigation, cos there was nothing to investigate. Patience Jonathan was never caught with anything. I also wonder how you expect Jonathan to begin jailing the likes of Buhari, IBB etc and risk a fullscale tribal backlash when he doesn't yet have a four year term in the bag. Do you think the cabal is made of weak people? Wise people are patient and act only when all the eggs are in the bag, foolish people rush to their doom. You might have noticed glimpses of the future with Jonathan from the defeat of the fuel mafia to the taking on of the generator mafia, but then you might be to busy p!mping to have noticed. You desperately need an education. |
redsun:"backside licker" from someone who is happy to p!mp out his own wife for papers abroad? You funny semi-literate clown. Learn Nigeria's history before opening that loud mouth of yours and spewing hot crap. I'm not surprised you don't know anything about the $2.8billion story, afterall you specialise in talking rubbish that sounds both ignorant and drug inspired. ![]() |
How are we sure they are all kidnappers? I will keep repeating that the army is not a Police force. The more we really on their brute force and elbow grease methods, the further we will sink from the Nigeria of our dreams. The army got us in the hole we are now in and they lack the skill's, abilities, training and worldview to help us out. Lets do the right thing and revamp our Police, make it into a modern force that can tackle kidnappers, religious fanatics and other miscreants. We cannot afford to keep taking military shortcuts, the army consists of trained killers, not trained crime solvers. |
^ My apologies for the accusation. redsun:Boiled and dried ignorance! You should really rest from talking crap all over NL. How come our $2.8billion missing oil money was traced to Buhari's fixed deposit account in a London Midland Bank branch? How? Do you have a clue what $2.8billion is? |
^ The OP really didn't state whether they meant General Elections or party elections, so we could both claim to be right in a sense. However, the claim that PDP's primaries are a part of the General Elections remains defeated. |
^ Dude, I'm just getting entertained watching you misfiring wildly. Its damn funny that any man born of woman, would actually compare PHP to C#, its sad really. C# knocks PHP for six in raw performance (like the US army vs Congo ). Also, as far as development time is concerned, the .NET framework is as RAD as RAD gets.I've also noted that the charts InesQor posted are between C# Mono and PHP, well up till Mono 2.4, .NET was like 6 times faster than Mono in certain cases (has about the same speed as C++), so divide those figures by 6 (or just to be kind, lets use 3), and then cough coders blood! ![]() |

. btw, whats up with clark and delta state
i don't generalise like that. i have no issues with the ijaws. the only problem i have is with mend and clark.
