NYSC has no benefit aside from cheap labour. |

9jaganja:Speak less. |
This gist is quite old. Anyways, on the surface, it looks good but by the time you see the other members, Pakistan! Bangladesh! . . .Sign of the cross follows ![]() |
Na so we am! 90% of those in govt in Abuja are into oil bunkering in some way or the other. The same as a huge percentage of ex-Generals and ex-govt people. Just before Hilary Clinton came here, she made two piercing statements; (1) foreigners know more about Nigeria than Nigerians do and (2) 90% of our oil money benefits only 1% of Nigeria's 140 million! The mafia can't be too hard to find, in fact we should have more than enough zeal to hunt them out. . . But many waters have flowed under the bridge ![]() |
webdezzi:All that for 3 lines I wrote? Bros chill now. Even though I'm among those hitting Java here, I will never do it with PHP, Ruby, Python or the likes. It just doesn't make sense. I was shocked to see your outburst and took the pains to go back over the thread. All you needed do was emphasise the angle you are coming from (which would likely have been killed off anyway, with arguments like twitters scalability issues etc). Haba! Don't take anything personally, don't think I am insulting you. |
jek1471:If you have control over the system, then go for 2008 (your system should be up to date with windows updates). Otherwise, go for 2005. One thing to note is that there are slight differences in sql between access and sql server. |
webdezzi:We're talking about compiled languages and you bring in scripted languages? ![]() How can you compare a lion and a mouse? A PC and an abacus? What about javascript, vbscript and classic ASP? Those are the languages you can compare PHP with. |
Beaf you are the only Ode in the diaspora who has time to make stupid ass thread like this. Instead of you to be at work making a living you are here yarning shit. very stupid fellow
Always off topic as usual.

walakolobo:You can die happy now ![]() |
candylips:You need to understand that there's some sort of background love affair between Apple and MS. MS approached Apple for cooperation in their early days and MS also bailed Apple out of bankruptcy a few years ago. Those guy's know what they are doing with their fake rivalry. |
@eedu247 The answer is so easy, but I will never answer people who have no respect for others. We are not texting here. |
AjanleKoko:Without doubt, some folk can indeed irritate with their attitude. But we should be thick skinned and walk on by, those people tend to be mere kids most of the time; but are they right to be frustrated? Yes they are. |
Afam:But a lot of that is true (both for "anti-diasporans" and "diasporans" . . .double cringe) or the country would have been different, we each have our weaknesses that have contributed to the problems in 9ja. There is freedom of speech, so "zero tolerance" is really apartheid sneaking in. What about those of us who might reside in Nigeria, but say such things (this forum is brimming with examples)? |
walakolobo:Irrelevant little shit ![]() |
Afam:Afam, I do not see people abroad abusing those that are at home (and neither should you). We are not the corrupt government officials they are addressing. Our homes are not the failed system they are crying about. There is a very clear danger that observers will associate a person with a belief in the things they defend. We should not represent (or fight ugly battles) for corrupt politicians, except we have been either paid or are part of them. Every well meaning Nigerian is very rightly traumatised by events and the status quo, and we all, regardless of where we are have the right of free speech conferred on us by the constituitionand to speak out. |
walakolobo:"Diasporans". . . What a question! We are all Nigerians, that some have found themselves abroad doesn't make one bit of a difference. |
Tell me what I don't know morpheus24:But it is already war. People have been so beaten that some no longer have any sense. Like I pointed out, some of the things Nigeria is doing to its own citizens have only ever been done by Nazi Germany and Apartheid South africa. We need to wake and fight this new bullshit. |
Dedicated to the fools abusing those in the diaspora. Those in the diaspora are not the cause of the problems in Nigeria (I am sure you are "smart" enough to know that). What you clowns have unsuccessfuly attempted, is to divert attention from the evils in our country by dangerously claiming that Nigrians who are abroad, have less rights or claim to the country than those at home. Every Nigerian has the right pressure for a resolution of our myriad issues (which even the blind can see). Those of you in the "anti-diaspora" group are, very undeniably, the worst kind of enemy Nigeria can ever have. Why? You a part of an incredible wickedness taking hold in Nigeria, the hallmarks are;
[li]Full blooded Nigerians in the diaspora being denied passports. Such has never happened before, anywhere in this World(except to blacks in apartheid South Africa and Jews in Nazi Germany)[/li] [li]A self defeating diplomatic war with the West (because they are unhappy with our corrupt govt), that has seen our president avoid a UN meeting to spite Obama [li]A no holds barred fight by our dear nations Attorney General to confound and frustrate cases against our corrupt officials; yes even abroad, in the capitals of the Western World)[/li] [li]Causing chaos, division, bad blood and bloodshed between Nigerians[/li]
The stamp of a strong nation, is in the way it embraces and defends its citizens no matter where they are. a strong nation will always go the extra mile for her citizens. You shameless idiots think through your arses. You have become the new tools to deny the common man his right. Drop your foolishness and join hands with fellow Nigerians, regardless of where they are (even if they have never ever visited) for the good of the country. |
hasyak:I think a fundamental question is why it is so easy to be corrupt in Nigeria. My answer is that the constitution has way too many loopholes (deliberate?), we need to push to block them. |
There's one thing! Just the one single thing on Essiens mind here ![]() https://www.jamati.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/nadia-and-michael.JPG |

These folk are his fellow Christians, but from the West . . .why aren't Nigerians brought up to investigate even simple things? http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/bonnke.html http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/bonnke4.html |
Africans are suckers for magic, miracles, and paranormal claims. Generally, among Africans, there is a deep-seated belief in supernatural forces that intervene and alter human destinies for good or ill. These spiritual forces are believed to work in magical and miraculous ways, through signs and wonders that confound the human mind. And the evangelical churches are capitalizing on this superstitious element in African thought and culture to peddle and propagate their paranormal services. They promise divine healing and instant solutions for problems and diseases.http://www.csicop.org/sb/show/benny_hinn_healing_crusade_ends_in_controversy |
He is talking about the tithes he collects from us. We should lock people that decieve the weak in jail and and lose the key. Whether they make spurious claims to be "men of God" or babalawo's. ![]() |
