Travel / Re: Why Bringing A Spouse Abroad Goes Wrong by Beautyaddy: 7:23pm On Jan 09
So in summary a guy in abroad should marry akata because they are better than the Nigerian that we thought are cultured and well-mannered.

Very Correct!

And it doesn't have to be just Akata. There are other women who reside abroad and are not Akata.

Those so-called "cultured and well-mannered Nigerian women"...Some of them are just pretenders because of the present society they are residing in. Once they are able to move to a society that favors more women all that so-called cultured and well-mannered behaviors goes out the window.

Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Beautyaddy: 12:12am On Jan 05
Good day everyone,
Happy new year,
I have been trying to follow up on the b1/b2 visa application. On the Embassy website it Says they are processing only limited number of b1/b2 visas. I read through this thread and didn’t see anything on the question I’m about to ask.
My question is:
1) I’ve been going to the us since 2009 for holidays. I’m trying to renew my US visa for holidays.
I didn’t have a previous appointment , are they taking new appointments? Can I apply newly? Abi what do they mean by limited??
2) early in 2020 my sister was going to renew but she wanted to attend a conference and the interview (for March) was cancelled due to COVID.
Is she going to wait for the embassy to contact her to change her appointment? Or will she schedule an appointment herself.
Also, the conference has been cancelled. Should she fill another DS-160 form changing her purpose of travel to holiday? Hope this change of purpose or travel won’t raise a red flag. She’s had several us visas. Some she didn’t even use at all.

But na US and one must calculate well.
Can the gurus in the house help?

There are No in person Conferences taking place in the US during this COVID-19 era. Most if not all Conferences can be done online through the likes of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skpe and the likes.

You will need to have a more convincing reasons to visit the US now.

Very contradicting headline

Did the man shoot his wife or strangled the wife to death?

Either way, these unfortunate incidents happens everywhere including with Nigerian couples living in Nigeria.

Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Beautyaddy: 3:05pm On Dec 02, 2020
high blood pressure in pregnancy is a very very serious issue and can cause death for both mother and baby, it is even the major cause of infant and maternal mortality . I’ve been a victim twice At my young age so I’m talking from experience. 42 and high bp in pregnancy is very high risk . Please read up on preeclampsia and enclampsia . She needs to see a maternal fetal specialist and we don’t have that field of study here I had to go abroad for it

But why will anyone with such a fragile state of health during pregnancy now subject herself to another very long(13 hrs or more) and stressful very long distance trip

Wouldn't it be better that the person limits at all cost any added stress during that will occur during very long distance movements.

There are also very good private hospitals in Nigeria that can address any high risk heath conditions related to high blood pressure during pregnancies as long as the person has the money to pay for it.

Don't be an idiot. The government consists of three arms and several ministries. This is just one ministry out of many doing it's job.

It would be unwise of you to think you can then shut this one up by blaming it for the failure of another.

Call out other ministries but don't you ever think the Ministry of Information will fold its arms and watch Nigeria come to ruins through fake news from western media and they have done in many countries.

lol!...Keep up with the denial State of Mind if it's the only thing that will keep you Sane. angry

Travel / Re: Please Help Me Decide by Beautyaddy: 2:45pm On Nov 24, 2020
My sister want to sponsor my traveling, she has refused to help me unless I travel. She gave me an ultimatum of February 2021. If I haven't got a visa by then, the offer is over. This is a one time opportunity!
The budget is 5-6 million naira.

The Issue: I have a small business here where I make about 70k monthly, if I am going to start processing visa I would need to close shop so this decision has to be perfect and 100% guaranteed. Since I would be using my capital to run the processing. (My sister has refused to help, she said she needed to see my seriousness).

Please, which country do you advise I start processing, am a bsc holder in sciences.
I have read and read most topics on traveling page, still couldn't make a decision.
Please I need this.

Germany...through student visa route.

I understand you bro, but let me tell you the truth, the only reason why you're saying all these is because you're not in the shit hole, but I know that I must surely leave this zoo one day by God's grace.. it's just a matter of time.

Once I'm out I can't come back to this country alive. [No joke]

lol!...Easier Said than Done under frustrating Conditions though.

I give you that after living 10 years in whatever Sane and Advanced Country you'll be signing a different tune to at least make efforts to visit Nigeria...but maybe not necessarily to live in Nigeria again.
Travel / Re: Read This Before Planning To Relocate To Canada by Beautyaddy: 5:40pm On Nov 22, 2020

I'm glad some people appreciate my presence here. Most people who talk don't have any experience living in both systems. To be honest most are truly ignorant. I mean you pay taxes in naija, yet you still pay for school fees, hospital bill, etc, you're actually paying double. Abroad you pay your taxes and you enjoy life knowing all the essentials are covered. Taxes are paid here WITH PRIDE.

Another person is now saying they can't do 6 months of cold weather. Yet they can do 12 months of a Buhari administration, 12 months of sars, 12 months of Nigerian police, 12 months of no running water, etc. Just comedians on these boards.

Lol!....Funny but sad at the same time.

I think we have to come to terms that not everyone is wired in the brains and lifestyle to be able to live in Sane or Advanced Countries.

Some people just love the hustle and bustle of living in Nigeria even at the decremental of their fragile health.

Some people even claim that they can't live in a Country where their black skin colour is not the majority or that where they have to always subject themselves to strict laws and order before they can get things done.

Some people even find living outside Nigerian to most Sane or Advanced Countries very boring where they have to mind their business and not even know who their next door neighbor is.

So as you can see not everyone's brains can ever adjust to living outside Nigeria to a more sane Country...it will always seem abnormal to them.
Travel / Re: Read This Before Planning To Relocate To Canada by Beautyaddy: 5:21pm On Nov 22, 2020

Just curious, do people pay bills in naija as well ?

Lol!...Great question to ask.

They kind of do but really not that much compared to Advanced Countries.

Also in Nigeria people can pay little to no taxes...and also most people don't have to pay monthly mortgages for houses since most of those houses are built and inherited by family members.
