The picture you described is quite funny. I share your point of view. It just that i have been hearing this phrase too often from people: "The societal status of the people you have as neighbours influences your place in the society." I am still trying to understand the rationale behind this type of mindset.

so true, i was this very discussion with my frd the other day,

we dress nicely to church, school, friends house, shopping etc.

but the minute we enter house we quickly take the nice clothes and

jewelries off and wear our not so nice house wears .


i dont tie wrapper sha, but since dat discussion i have readjusted my life style,

i have changed my evening clothes from old bubus and kaftans to nice short skirts,

leggins or long t-shirts, make up and jewelries stay on till am ready to hit the pillows

we are never too old to learn new things

We were in London on the 23rd of February to process passport for my husband and our kids. We left them the prepaid envelope. It's the 5th today, still not received it.

Hoping to get it next week so we can buy our flight ticket early.

My mums optician thinks not, apparently it won't heal. I find this difficult to believe, don't know if it's my mum that doesn't want the surgery hence she is making storied up.
