you can make use of for now by adding a domain name to it without breaking the bank. No need for hosting. One thing that makes most bloggers to fail is using the right platform at the wrong time. you can do that from android device manager if you had enabled it before it was stolen. You can't block it, you can only lock it, wipe and ring

a website is general name. Nairaland is a website, facebook is a website, amazon is a website but they all have concept and purpose. Nairaland is a forum, amazon is an ecommerce, facebook is a social network etc, likewise a blog is also a website. It all depends its purpose

what kind of limitations are you referring to that other free platforms don't have. If you are looking for a free platform like blogger, you may get frustrated because most of them don't offer what blogger has to offer

In addition with the ICAANN charge the total amount was $1.17 and I was about to make the payment but I stopped because I wasn't sure if that $1.17 was the total charge or whether it will be multiplied by 12months making $14.04. it may interest you to know that even before the op got the idea, there are lots of car blogs online. Its all about what you have to deliver and how best you know your way. So in essence, the op did not mess up. The niche has been around and it is saturated.but if he knows his way, he can still create a niche for him self from the available sub niche and location

there are hundred of car blogs in the world. Its never too late to start a blog on any niche provided you know your way and what you intend do.
