School resumes 23rd of August !! EA Approved for 26th !! Is this ok ?? In a zoom meeting with my school some weeks back they said it’s still ok to resume within 2weeks after resumption date !! How do I prove this to the VO AND officer at the POE

A Letter from your school detailing the extension would do. Print it out and present to the VO (if asked).
Also show the officer at POE.

My EA was approved but the earliest appointment date to reschedule is the same date I'm to resume - August 16. Is there a possibility that there will be an earlier date than August 16 if I check later today? or tomorrow?

By tommorw, rest assured you won't be seeing that 16th available. Pick the earliest available date, write to your school requesting a letter to extend resumption. You'd need that most at Point of Entry.

Rescheduled with the old MRV.
Seems that attach email is another format they use so you can reschedule your appointment if it was cancelled.

Best you drop all gadgets at home/Hotel........or there are some "hustlers" outside the embassy that help keep items @a fee. If you want to risk that, no P.
Just weigh your options.

sorry about that.
You'd have to stick with your regular appointment, or keep checking the reschedule dates on your dashboard if you haven't rescheduled before. A closer date might pop up.

You guys should dead all this unnecessary back & forth. Its really not worth it.

Meanwhile, A friend just got updates on the Emergency Request. Was approved. July 28th, 30 and August dates available.
Applied for ER July 6th.

I just checked mine too, I didn't see any option of rescheduling and I've only rescheduled once after the normal date I was given....

Anyone going to Western Illinois University here??

You can only reschedule once.

Yes.
A week/two to your appointment date, send email to school requesting resumption extension. Attach your Appointment confirmation.
They'd should grant you a week extension. Print email and take along to embassy.

I'm new to all this and I'm not getting proper guidance from anybody.

I booked the normal date 2024 so I can get emergency option for over two to three weeks now no response.

So I rescheduled to June 2022 thinking I might get another option for emergency now I can't find emergency option and also can't find any reschedule option.

What do I do next?

Hello sir.
1.Reschedule Appointment
2.Emergency Request
3.Cancel Appointment.

All the above can only be used once.

You booked Regular dates for Lagos, 2024. Then Initiated the ER. Yet to get a response to your ER, you Rescheduled your appointment again to 2022.
@1.2. has been exhausted left with only (3).
Way forward:
Wait for a response to the Emergency request
Or
Pay a new visa fee. Switch to Abuja. Pick a Regular date, then use the Emergency request. Draft a letter as to why you need the expedite appointment. Attach all supporting dox. Hopefully, the ER gets approved, you'd be given earlier dates to schedule your appointment. If your ER is denied, you'd have to stick with the Regular dates you booked, and keep checking if earlier dates pop up so you can use the Reschedule option.
