Thanks for all the heads up on EA and all. I am resuming this fall on the 15th of August and I plan to apply for EA by June 15th.
However, Lagos was the location I picked and I am now paranoid about it since I have heard a lot of people say Abuja responds to EA faster.

My questions are:
1. Can I rely on Lagos to get an EA date?
2. How can I change my location to Abuja? - at least Abuja looks easier to get EA when one applies for it.

Please let me know how changing to Abuja can be done! ��

My question this, Is it still valid once I request for a new I-20 from school even if my interview date is August?

Good evening guys, pls concerning filling the I-20, if your cost of attendance is $60k and you have $40k but you applied for loan and $48k was approved. Do you fill in the whole 48k on the self-support column or just the amount needed to make it $60k?

Hope it won’t be a red flag for me at the embassy if they see I have a personal funding of that amount. It will be indicated on my i20 because i am about to send my personal SOA.

Please if the money in the statement of account is in naira, how would you be certain of the dollar amount for visa application? Do you just use the exchange rate online?

Here is my plan, i made use of bank statement for my i -20 so that i things can be easy at least at the embassy but my plan is to get USA and make use of Mpower loan for my school fees and accommodation. so my question is

1) Can i update my I-20 immediately after i get VISA even before getting on the plane to the USA so i can use it for my accommodation and fee.

2) When is it advisable to use the Mpower loan as i already have my final approval letter.

My COA is 29000(Tuition,other fees, my own living expenses and my wife living expenses) no any other dependant.... Funding (GRA 44000)

My question is...Do I need to present any statement of account, most especially for my wife?

Although her own expenses(5000) has been added to my COA.

Also when can I print the SOA if it's needed?
