Have you checked the two lists for your occupation?

To get a positive assessment from VETASSES, you must have at least one year experience. You will still need employment reference and evidence of paid salary to proof it.

Okosay:
Good evening my e-family! More explainations would be appreciated! My assessing authority is vetasses and considering the discrimination against most naija four years course please what should I do to scale tru. I have writen pte exams and obtain the following L 90, W 88, R 77 S 81 and my age is 27 so I need to scale tru dis vetasses wahala. Note I did I.T and nysc and have only worked in govt agancy for a year plus. I would also want to confirm this as regard reference letter does it mean I will submit reference letters from the 3 places I have worked? Please i need help on how to go about this. Thank you all and a very big congrats to all those that received their visa grants and I pray God to do for us what he has done for u in jesus name
What course did you study?

You don't need English test for assessment with VETASSES.

If you intend to claim experience for all the three places, you must submit reference letters and evidence of salary paid from all.

^^^ Why are you inciting fear and not also giving complete story. It is not easy but saying foreign students can't miss class is misleading. Put it in right context.

It is better to educate prospective applicants than inciting fear.

Thank you sir, tho I was issued checks only, no account statements, I guess I ll hv to gamble on reference letter and payslips then.
To prevent story that touches the heart, supply as many documents as possible to support your claim.

@All,

Congratulations to those that have been granted visa.
It is pertinent to note that many people here are very active prior to receiving their grants but disappear immediately afterwards.

As much as life is busy in Australia, I believe you can create at least 30minutes to answer queries here. Disappearing only shows that such people are selfish and care less about others. Some of us cannot answer some questions asked here because we didn't go through that type of process but those that did disappeared once they got what they wanted.

I am appealing to all, in your busy schedule, try and contribute after your visa grant.

God bless you all.

Apologies to everybody, I have been very busy with challenges of life in the past week. Everything is fine now..

Additional 1.5M was paid to the hospital making a total of 7M remaining 2.3M.

The donor has passed the first screening, to undergo another screening tomorrow. The transplant is rescheduled after Easter. The consultant has confirmed that Lola is fit enough for the transplant.

Will update as new thing emerges.

@Cuteannie02,

PDF is the only advisable way to attach documents. That way it is not easy to edit your documents.

Your transcript must be sent by your institution directly to VETASSES while your certificate is enough to upload for the main application.

If you were paid into the bank, your bank statement and employment offer letter should suffice.

Please gurus in the house do justice to these questions. The fellow has quoted himself for the 3rd time or so. Pls let's not ignore him/her.

God bless us all!
The taste of the pudding is in the eating. I am not sure anyone here can answer the question except AITSL. If he meets the requirements, he should get a positive response.

Like I said, until he put in for the assessment, no one can confidently say yes or no, individual circumstances are different.

@Cuteannie02,

Since your occupation is on the SOL list, apply for the 189 subclass. You only need minimum of 60points. First step though is to assess your skills and qualification with the assessing authority for your occupation.

@Swimgood,

The company can prepare payslip for him since he works there. However, without bank statement and tax clearance, I wouldn't know how he can navigate that water if the CO ask for additional documents.

Better get your 60points without claiming work experience.

I pray she gets a compatible donor as soon as possible by His Grace.

Well done to everyone keeping this going.

She is in my prayers as well...
Amen..

@Thorpido,

We were told that they've sorted that aspect, I didn't know that the screening has not been done. The family just felt kidneys can just be exchanged freely.

Bellong,how's it going?What's the update?
We want to resolve the current issue before I give update.

We had set back on the donor.. The doctors said the willing donors are not compatible with her.

We have found another donor who is currently undergoing screening. Will update once it is completed.

Thank you deetus , what about the concern I expressed about my area of specialty not been listed in the skills list?
Don't be misinformed, if your occupation is not listed on either SOL OR CSOL, there's nothing you can do except you go through student visa.

However, since you have experience in customer relationship, you can check the CSOL list if there's any state sponsoring it.

In addition, it will do you good to read proper information on border Force's website than allowing someone to ignorantly mislead you.

I believe it is a right suggestion. Interestingly I never noticed it.

Thanks...

Thank you.

Assessing bodies are only concern with your first degree, your masters will only count if it's from Australia which is 5points.

Can't say whether HND will fetch points, hopefully those that are more informed will answer this.
There's no additional point for Master's degree irrespective of where you bagged it. Only PhD gives you 20 points.

For VETASSES, to escape the risk of being assessed to be equivalent to an Australian associate degree, you can add the master's degree which will give you an edge. However, your work experience prior to the master's degree wouldn't count.

HND is assessed to be equivalent to a diploma which is 10points.

NNBB2012 already addressed getting points for spouse's qualifications.

This story has been confirmed by different people. Punch newspaper also did a publication on it two Saturdays ago.

The account number is on the first page below the main story.

God bless you as you join in making the transplant a reality.

Hello bellong

I was wondering since the costs of dialysis are still there as the days go by, can she be moved to Abuja and preparations started for the transplant whilst fundraising is ongoing.

I say this because the longer we wait the more the costs of dialysis eat into funds for transplant.

Could you talk to the family about the threshold of funds raised that can get the operation started similar to ayolights case?
Hi Salsera,

Thanks for the concern. She has been moved to the hospital since last week. Since we have been able to pay half of the cost, the operation is expected to be performed between 14 - 20, the doctors are monitoring her to decide which day is best for her.

Another 2M realised ready to be transferred to the hospital to make 5M.

Balance of 4.3M remaining.

My error, the hospital bill is 9.3M as against 8M I wrote earlier. Just got it clarified.

Thanks to everyone making this happen.

I have it is diploma or higher but everything needs to be sent online but most schools here don't give transcript by hand how do we go pasf this one o
You have nothing to fear since diploma is required. VETASSES will assess it to at least a diploma. VETASSES requires that your institution post the transcript directly not attached online.

please we will need a day to day update on the amount Lola has received from people to enable us know how much we have and how much is left. Just like ayolight's case.

So we should know how to put more effort.
Sure,

After the initial deposit, between Friday and today, about N1.05M has been raised and $3000 in gofundme.

Wanted to do the update at the end of business closing tomorrow initially.

We have about 6M to go.

That 3 years na d wahala too plus the forst college aint a diploma school its just like preliminaries like A' Level...that's why we started lookin at the welfare worker as an alternative their site is a little bit friendly that is the ACWA that assess welfare workers
Check their requirements. You can also check if you need a BSc to work as a counsellor. Some occupations require only a diploma

More like an A'Level package, predegree(Ogun state cooperative college Abeokuta affiliated to olabisi onabanjo university) u know how naija admission dey be Na he wanted to study banking and finance or sociology..but didn't make the cut off so he was given guidance and couselling in OSU(olabisi onabanjo university).that's the school he finished from
Funny enough, OSU is part of the schools VETASSES asseses positively but with the three years, I don't know. He will need to add his diploma. In addition, you should confirm if there is no registration requirements with the body in charge of counsellors.
