I already answered your question.

You can do assessment first and you can do it concurrently.

^^^^^^^^^^

You will write any of IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. Not compulsory to be academic except your assessing authority specify academic.

And you don't need English for VETASSES assessment.

So in that case what will my CDR besed on, My Undergraduate experiences or My Work experience as an IT support?

And how will this relate to my intended course of nomination (production and Plant Engineer or Mechanical Engr).
Your CDR must be based on an expertise in your nominated occupation.

Can i be assessed on Engineers Australia without claiming Work Experience and the one i have is in Info Tech not related to my engineering.
If you can write a convincing CDR, I believe you should be able to get positive assessment as it is what EA mainly use.

Hello House,

I need PTE study materials. Can someone refer to a place in Lagos where i can buy PTE study pack(Questions and answers)?

I have gone through the YouTube tutorials but i do not really understand what they are teaching.

TIA.
Why do you have to buy, there are lots of PTE materials being circulated on this thread, why not go through the thread and request someone who has copy to send to you.

Nothing different from what you will buy

Dear Gurus, Kindly respond please
No one can confidently tell you potential outcome of an assessment except someone working as an assessing officer.

If you really need to know if you can get positive assessment, you should first do the advisory service application where you will be given possible outcome.

However, the instruction for assessment says that the experience must be related or closely related for the work you have done in the last ten years preceeding your application. Yes, you are likely to get recognized for the experience but for the qualification, it is for VETASSES to decide.

Well done, good people. please are there bankers in the house? operations officers to be precise. I want to know what you selected from the list.
Seniors in the house, please help a sister
I am 30 years, studied English at the University and wrote IELTS last year. score is 7.5. I have 8 years work experience in the bank and calculated my score to 65. am I right? I have checked job descriptions oooo and nothing comes close. someone advised me to apply for my masters and go on a 573 visa class. does this make economic sense. I have been trying to read up on that visa class but the info out there is vague. someone should kindly come to my rescue.

In anticipation...
Have you checked the Skilled Occupation lists for an occupation that closely match your skills?

Stop trying to stay relevant cause you are not. You squeaky little rat. Just because you were fortunate to converse with your betters doesn't give you the liberty to misplace that privilege to rant like a bumbling oaf.

Honestly, I wouldn't look at your wretched self twice in real life, much less permit you sex-starved swine to mount bellong, my sick she-dog, even if it depends on your utterly useless existence. You are worthless and should accept yourself as that.

You may now fuck_ off my mentions. I resent low self-esteemed twats.

You can get your employment reference letter from your supervisor. Don't beat yourself too much over it.
You will be fine with it as long as it is genuine.

@Jetspeed,

Why didn't you apply since December 2014 you got the positive assessment?

I don't think you need a point test advice if you are still working with the same company when you had the positive assessment.

Not too sure, I think the assessment span was reduced to two years which means you have till December 2016 for the assessment to be valid.

For your wife, considering the unpredictability of VETASSES, if she can get points from other areas, she can add the qualifications, if not you have to take the risk.

Why go through the stress for your wife when you have a positive assessment?

Goodmorning Bellong. Hope this meets you well. I need your assistance to review my three career episodes. I will Rili appreciate ur help.
I am sorry, I can't be of help in this instance. I am not an Engineer .

Mrsoje,

To get points for partner skill, your partner must get a positive assessment from skills assessment and English test.

You can't claim point while still studying, it must be after you earn the qualifications.

All the documents needed are specified in all the links provided.

@ Unibadan were you successful with your payment?
As at last week, GTB charged 227 for $1AUD. Yes, you have insufficient funds by their rate.

Congratulations Jukeblam...

To set the record straight for all, Engineer Australia has a peculiar way of assessing engineers. They use CD-R template to assess your knowledge and skill in the occupation claimed. This makes it easy for people to use experience gained during IT or short employment to write a good CDR but other assessing authority don't use this style.

To avoid numerous and unanswered questions, it is advisable that you read the website of your assessing authority thoroughly for the requirements. I know that most require minimum of one year experience before you get positive assessment.

No further questions will be entertained with respect to this.

@Unibadan,

Why would you apply for nomination without a skill assessment result? The process/stage cannot be compromised.

Withdraw your application and reapply once your assessment is ready.

You need to check the minimum qualification to practice as a marine scientist or any related occupation. If it says diploma is needed, good otherwise you need to complete your bachelor degree before going ahead with the process.

Bros I've told u to use a Dom acct, I jxt transfer funds last week Thursday and today I have my telex copy to snd to sch, Dom acct is way faster dan form A... Said it hia for all dose paying sch fees use Dom acct!!!
Where did you get the dollars to transfer from?

You really have no concrete idea on the form A, will educate you a little.

With the form A, you get to buy dollars at CBN rate because school fees is part of approved list for foreign exchange.

However, for domiciliary account, you must source the dollars yourself to pay into it which could be at the black market rate.

It is not about dorm account but saving money.

You should have gotten your telex copy since last week Friday, something is wrong with your bank.

One other thing.
Myself as an example now, I'm a teacher with a n.c.e and a b.ed and presently doing my TESOL. What are my chances if I go there to study for my masters/phd and also to work? What professional field works best there. Is teaching lucrative out there?
With TESOL certificate, it makes getting an English teaching position easy.

@Esty4eva,

What you need to do has been well explained in the opening posts including how to calculate points. Patiently read everything written.

@deesmom,

If you can find an occupation that closely match your skill on either of the lists, is better than going as a student. Study visa cost a lot of money with little or no incentive.

Check the CSOL, it has many finance related occupations.

Mikey,

Once you get a positive assessment from your assessing authority and meet the 60 points requirement, you can apply. Once you submit application, you will be given a bridging visa immediately till the determination of your visa.

Nothing stop you from applying, don't mind those saying otherwise.
Travel › Re: Turkish Visa Experts Needed by bellong: 11:04am On May 08, 2016
@Faari,

The visa is a study permit but with a 30-90 day validity to be changed to residence permit after registration in your school.

A. It doesn't apply to all permit, applies only to long term stay like study visa, research and marriage.

ii. You can't stay on visitor visa. If you want more time, you will have to return home and reapply.

iii. I am not sure any business will extend beyond 90 days except you are investing hugely which comes under a different visa.

b. Their visa policy is to remain on visa you came in, if you need to change visa class, u must return home to reapply.

I believe no one outside your home cancan tell you what to do.
I don't know what people discuss during courtship. It is not about snapping pre-wedding pictures or going to silverbird galleria. This is one of the issues to effectively iron out.

Now, what you need is for both of you to arrive at a compromise. Let him understand it is not about money but fulfillment. You need to let him know the type of job you intend doing and how it will never impact on the family negatively.

As crude as it sounds, at this stage, you need his agreement before you go ahead with anything. It's either you convince him and win him to you or you forget the marriage. You are a female, employ the God given wisdom and skills women have to win their husband.

I pray you get a positive resolution to the benefits of your family.
Family › Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 12:59am On May 03, 2016
Apologies to everybody who have been for or against discussion on the musician's marriage.

I want to believe what is happening between them is not peculiar to them. Thousands of unions both home and abroad are experiencing it. Why then are we paying too much attention to them?

When intending couples do not understand the fundamentals of marriage, why God (doesn't matter you believe in Him or not) established it and unique roles of the individual to make things work as well as the principle of "Help Meet", such marriages are bound to fail as there will be schism, division, clash of interest and power play.

You are ready for marriage when you are ready to think less of yourself but more of the other person. You are ready for marriage when you understand your purpose and the purpose of marriage in itself. You are ready for marriage when you realize that nothing is in black and white, there's always a shade of grey, compromises to be made and at times depending on circumstances, dreams to sacrifice for your family. It is about the end and overall well-being of all.

The most important factor in marriage is Character, when that is lost in any party, the union is doomed. Not being judgemental or anything, I knew from the first day, that their marriage is only a disaster waiting to happen. If you marry a man who doesn't have the leadership and resilient spirit to lead the home in time of storm, such a home will fail. In my opinion, I believe their Union is not worth the energy we have put in it. If I were single, prior to this, I wouldn't even consider them as an example to look up to.

I will rather we discuss and not argue factors to help the married and what the singles need to watch out for before jumping in.

Every Union with a faulty foundation is bound for failure.
