Obviously Buhari look finer. What do you think? |
Why are we preaching so much hatred here? Islam is for muslims and Christianity is for christians. Cant we ever live peacefully, guys? |
They wouldnt want to hear this but Islam is the greatest |
We all know our biggest problem in nigeria today is corruption and we certainly know that the best man to fight that corruption is buhari. So gentlemen, are we not misplacing our priorities by making insinuation about other flimpsy excuses despite knowing our only way out. Can anyone say sincerely that yaradua is not an extention of the present corrupt regime? |
David, corruption is everywhere, am sure you too might be corrupted somehow but the good thing is to asccept that aas a fact and sip through and fish out the authentic. But indeed there are hadith that were wrongly transmitted as indeed the bible that was doctored, but there is no corrupted Quran. There is only one Holy Quran and its the same everywhere word to word. |
Baby, there is something i dont understand in your posts. Are you encouraging muslims to be terrorists by reminding them of the available islamic premise for such actions or are you just happy slanting the so-called moderate muslims that have time to talk to you by stressing your inaccurate islamic view points?. If indeed we accept that terrorism and violence are bad then it will do us more good by supressing those misunderstood motives and talk about uniting factors and encourage peaceful relation. I am a complete and 100% muslim and follows islamic teachings to the best of my ability and if you think i am a potential terrorist, too bad. |
My people, Authenticity of Hadith has nothing to do with the Holy Prophet, it is basically about the narrators. You know hadith is the narration of the supposed conducts and sayings of the Rasoul and we all know that there are strong tendencies for mistakes and deliberate falsehood. We only pray for Almighty Allah to guide us to the right path, Amen. |
Mustay Thanks for the reminder. Please allow me to just post a poem today. It was an email from my sister Today, upon a bus, I saw a girl with golden hair. and wished I was as fair. When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle. She had one leg and wore a crutch. But as she passed, a smile. Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine. I have 2 legs, the world is mine. I stopped to buy some candy. The lad who sold it had such charm. I talked with him, he seemed so glad. If I were late, it'd do no harm. And as I left, he said to me, "I thank you, you've been so kind. It's nice to talk with folks like you. You see," he said, "I'm blind." Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine. I have 2 eyes, the world is mine. Later while walking down the street, I saw a child with eyes of blue. He stood and watched the others play. He did not know what to do. I stopped a moment and then I said, "Why don't you join the others, dear?" He looked ahead without a word. And then I knew, he couldn't hear. Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine. I have 2 ears, the world is mine. With feet to take me where I'd go. With eyes to see the sunset's glow. With ears to hear what I'd know. Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine. I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine. |
You guys are not fair to islam. We all know that you dont like Islam but i dont think you need to go to that extent to prove that. Our women are special to us either as mothers, sisters or wives, why on earth can we gain satisfaction by inflicting injuries upon them?. Cant you see we are humans like you too and we cant just be irrational to the extent of sanctioning rape. Rape in any language or dialect is wrong and unacceptable. And we do love our women too. |
Baby and shahan, i can understand why you worry so much about this coitus stuff but i tell you theres no need for that. Whenever i come across it in any history book i always take it to be some olden days war practices which does not have any significance to us nowadays. But i am not trying to be analytical or judgemental here, am only speaking for myself. Its a war period when slave women were liberated to be wives, which in anyway we look at it is a better status. Indeed there are procedures and guidelines before this conversion take place and definitely its not going to be like rape. But war is war, its never meant to be pleasant to any POW. |
Batu, why are you so bitter about the "sorting out" issue in christianity? The truth doesnt need panel beating but i dont want to argueing with you on that. But next time be calm and analyze issues properly, even at your age i dont think its a tall order. |
Thank you Isha, i believe you are another mukina in our fold. You girls are wonderful and i pray Allah continue to guide us all to the right path, Amen. Try harder on your quranic studies. |
My dear sister mukina, there you go again. Always coming up with interesting islamic threads. You are spreading the words effectively and we are behind you 100%. Lets talk about Islam, the religion of truth. |
Your arguements is part of the sorting out process i earlier mentioned. Its also part of the larger story about the burden of the traveller. We as muslims believes we are travellers on a journey from this world to the next. In the process we encounters all sort of Challenges and predicaments as we are experiencing here. The only snag here is that mr david seem to know everything or hold the final answer. David you dont bulldoze christianity and some shallow knowledge of the doctrines on people. i d rather listen to folks like baby, shahan and good duy than going round the cycle with you. Cant we for once accept the fact that we just dont know everything? |
Just sort yourselves out. Where is Baby, the learned girl? |
There was once a man who was going to travel to a dangerous land. He goes to the house of a man, well known for his honesty. He knocks the door and tells him: I'm giving you $1440 to keep with you as I am travelling to a dangerous place. When I get back, I only want $17 back." The honest man stood their perplexed but agreed. The next day, the traveller comes back to the honest man's house and asks him for $17. The honest man tells him that he forgot and that he had spent it all. The traveller forgave him since he knew that this man is honest enough to give it back later. The next day, the same man travels to the same dangerous place and gives the same honest man $1440 to keep and at the end of the day, he will take $17 back. The traveller returns from his travels and asks the honest man for his $17. The honest man replies that he was so engrossed in having a good time with his friends, that he spent all the money again. Once again, the traveller forgave him, knowing he didn't do it on purpose. This same incident starts to happen everyday, whereby the honest man is given $1440 and is expected to return only $17 but fails to do so. Later on, his child becomes sick and the doctor who was going to give the treatment tells the honest man that if he wishes for his child to be looked after, the fee was $1440. The honest man starts to panic realising he can't afford $1440. It then struck him that the traveller used to give him that same amount. He runs to the traveller's house and asks him in a panic for $1440. The traveller told him that due to his feeble excuses, he has stopped going to his house as he has lost faith in his honesty. The irony is, is that this story has once been directly relevant to each and every single one of us(Muslims). It is quite remarkable that Allah (swt) gives us 1440 minutes each day and only specifies 17 minutes of that back in prayer. But due to the ignorance of people and the whisperings of Shaitaan the accursed, we are blinded towards the minute scale of what we are giving back. This story points out three things. 1. The importance of Salah and how little we have to give back. 2. The mercy of Allah that he forgives us even after such blunders. 3. The fact that we only realise how important something is (in this case gift of wealth) until it is gone. |

You are basically confirming the fact that you never knew Islam. Because most of our prayers is in arabic, you tend to find the english translation amusing. Let me translate some few to you:- Assalam Alaykum = Peace be upon you Allahu Akbar = God is Great Alhamdu lillah = Glory be to God Yar ha mukallah = God bless you. If you indeed want to attack islam as you always do, may be you need some arabic lessons, instead of exposing your stark ignorance. |
I have always wondered what blinded christians to call Jesus God and Mary Mother of God. How can the Almighty creator have a mother, who is suppose to be his creation too. You ve got to accept the fact that God can never have a mother |
Someone is trying to use blackmail now. I cant remember shahan asking for anyones' opinion before she made her decision. Anyway, what will hit you will never miss you. So carry go pataki. |
mrpataki, i am glad you are finally exposing your ethnic hatred and bigotry. you are just one of the few self-confessed northern haters in this forum. We are looking at buharis chances based on his credentials and not his state of origin. |
I think christianity need a lot of sorting out. But you guys are trying hard and i have to praise you for that. |
Islam is Love, Islam is Peace, Islam is Beautiful |
Finally Shahan is back. I am geting sick of these sex stories and i dont know what makes you feel like some kind of women liberators or how in reality an average christian can claim more accolades than muslim in treatment of women folks. Sometimes you guys tend to mixed up arab cultures and extremism with the real islam, citing some extreme situations while you are always quick to distance christianity with entertainers or guys like Timothy Mcveigh or Hitler. Its so funny |
Barkade, i agree it may be true but then its not islamic, so in this respect it just a mere story telling. |
No one seem to be around to reply brother babs. May be we are finally getting a concensus. ![]() |
Baby, i am not sure if your hadith is authentic or not but there is actually no teachings in it. Especially, having confirmed to you that Islam truly sanction the death sentence for apostacy. This is an undisputable fact. |
I was talking to my sister and the next thing you guys just swooped in. Isha is a muslim who was explaining how hard it was for her to learn Quran in line with the topic of this thread and not asking for some kind spiritual guidance. I thought the bible once said "Spare the rod and spoil the child". may be you can twist this also to a more suitable and subtle interpretation as always. Islam is about relationship with the Lord and i wont be suprised if you never knew. Baby, You sound so desperate in your evangelism, probably thinking that some weaklings might just get carried away. i thought you have muslim friends that also let you be. So why dont you just hold on to your supposed gospel. |
Another of your fairy tales, David. Your story particularly exposed a peculiar trait in pakistani society but then we are talking about Islam here not the maachhi culture. Baby, thanks for your understanding and honesty but you should also know that in katsina or anywhere else in the north you can share a bus with your husband. The governments only introduced additional vehicles to support the female folks. And please stop the unneccessary rage about killing female rape victims, i never see that happen and its never going to happen not in nigeria atleast. Like the david story a lot of these things had to do with arab and pashtun cultures. |
