SeaTrade: I'll explain what happened since as this idiotic useless thief of a pastor is trying to blow things out of proportion to move sheeples and glorify their imaginary entity so they can continue milking the poor masses. 1)Congo is too poor to construct highways all around it for motorable access especially with its dense vegetation,so there's a lot of these planes that is used to carry people and goods to those unmotorable places,I mean a lot! Flown by tired looking eastern Europeans/soviet era flyboys.I know because na my route some years ago during hustling days. 2)That plane didn't crash land anything, the pilot noticed a small fault from one of its engines and looked for a temporary Bush runway to land so that he can check the fault out while still in sections that have weighpoints cos it won't be smart to find out over water or thick forest cos of crash or getting lost and attacked by wild animals cos you're too far from civilisation. Then upon landing by the pilot to checkout the fault, the plane accidentally overshot the path at low speeds albeit and got stock in mud, that is what this fool is blowing out of proportion to propagate his thieving/imaginary bs. If you look carefully you'd notice that that is a runway built by people of that community to receive supplies from these planes and also passenger service as they often land in places like this to pick passengers like taxi,if you notice the fool didn't show that clear runway Cos it will bust his lies. Where then did the jet fuel come from since you crashland in the forest? They have it there because these planes land there a lot, like so much and you have people running small businesses selling JetA1 and some small small services for these planes in different Bush runways like this littered all over the country that these pilots patronise. This guy is a liar and I'm very experienced in this route as a young man flying products to different places then and even as gateway to some southern African markets. If I ever get in the position of power I'd ban religion and kill defaulters,it seem to be making a lot of people very retarded and stupid.
The people benefiting from the rot in Congo are really milking the country BIG TIME
AfahaAbia: I use a satellite phone. Although it's very expensive but it's the best. I do not need to have a registered SIM to make calls and I can call anyone anywhere in the world free of charge
You will still need an internet enabled phone to stay in touch with the world.
You are right but in real sense did you balance the equation to ask if the person that spend N100m lost and the money is from his legit hustle what will happen?
Remember the moment corruption enter a country to stop it its very difficult especially in Africa context. Democracy is full of shit bro I mean real shit since IBB fully launched corruption during his regime bro to stop it will be a very hard job and not through online talking.
I'm not ready to contest and I'm not apc though I supported Tinubu so if apc says that is the amount for the forms those who are apc should complain if not happy with the amount but to say paying N100 or nothing for form will make average Nigeria shun corruption bro it is a lie. The foundation is rotten already bro.
You are right. The foundation is rotten already. However, it's not an entirely lost situation. To change this country, the people who want to do good must be many up there....the only to do that is for them to build from the ground.
Aremolekunowo: Yeah this is a great news and a very welcome development. The new people in CBN seems to know what they are doing because the next bull run that is coming by April 2024 will be so mad, to the extent that if you invest just 10$ it will give u minimum of a 1k$, 100$ of some shit coins will give 10K usd profits. More over next year bull run is not just ordinary bull run it's a institutional bull run and bit coin halving because crypto is now 17 years old by next year the big financial institutions are coming in to mope up most of the bitcoin and other assets in crypto space. I have personally notice at least 4 different crypto projects that will give at least 15,000% profits in next bull run coming by April. This is my advice to those that want to buy bitcoin and Ethereum please hold on for now because by February next year they will decrease in value by at leat 20% before April bull run and it will never come down again because hedge funds and other big guys will mope up the available one in the cyber space. So if you want to be a billionaire or multi million next year go and be saving money now to buy viable crypto projects from 10 February. And put the following projects in your watch list that will give you minimum of 10k% profits that is any amount u invest just add 2 zeros to it that will be your minimum profits in few months and make sure you buy some bitcoin too the price is going all the way up to 150k usd.just wait for it to depress by February then buy through your exchange and never be tempted to sell before it cross 100k so you don't regret selling prematurely. So watch out for these few projects 1.Dream quest 2.Ertha 3.Melos 4. Karate. Put them in your watch list they will make you millions or billions depending on what you invest. Hope these helps 🙏 you cabn use Kucoin or okx.
coputa: yes, developing nation like Nigeria should priotize Agriculture to be able to feed the citizens and for exports
America has food affordability and sustainability for her citizens despite it's growth in science and technology, which they equally employed into the Agricultural sector
As is is now, Nigeria cannot feed her citizens as there's no food sustainability let alone affordability, they prioritize unimportant sectors of the economy and neglect Agriculture.
There should be a policy trust that will make it compulsory for all the 177 local government in Nigeria to have a farm that cultvate crops,
You have summed it all up. We surely need to go back urgently.....
Another way is to encourage private companies with incentives to make them own farms no matter how small....
Just as there surviving in Burundi Shey? Please watch this video and see how the people are "surviving" on agriculture. Anyway, agriculture not for me sha, maybe as a pastime, for leisure.
coputa: so that hungry will kill Nigerians, can you drink oil,or you want to use the the oil money to buy imported food
Agriculture can actually put transform this nation. Many of those old Universities were built with Money from cocoa.... most of those cocoa farms are no more....
That the only solution, but how do you transform a unproductive country into a productive society.
1. Have a solid plan with timeline 2. Show total commitment to the plan 3. Tackle corruption brutally 4. Drive and support local innovation 5. Don't play with infrastructure development...
Nigeria can transform within 10 years if there's a commitment to a solid Economic plan.
cassyrooy: My Mannest Man is Yoruba from Ondo state too.
I wasn't accepted for a job in an Organization that is Yoruba(C) and I locked up and moved on. The guy who eventually opened my eyes that it was because of my Igbo ethnicity that they rejected me is Yoruba(M) too.
I have from North too who are C &M and I don't discriminate na make dem use sense follow life. There's life after success and the most civilised people ever have disappeared from the face of the earth.
Any organisation that rejects a person based on tribal lines is doing so based on the perspective of the founders/ manager(s) of the company.
That perspective is usually formed majorly by past negative experiences which if repeated gives them a cemented view of the tribe.
E g if I am Ibo with company and employed say for example Edo person in an accounting position only to discover the person defrauded me...and later I employ another Edo person in another position and the person does same thing....it could make me careful of dealing with them. However, my view is still limited cos I have only dealt with a few people from Edo.
FreeStuffsNG: I get your point but the difference in Yoruba is in accent not meaning like in Igbo. The Yoruba moved from a central place and trace themselves back to same origin unlike in Igbo where some are not even ethnically Igbo but you lump them up as Igbo because they are located in South East. These groups ,like the Igala in Anambra, Enugu etc, even tell the whole world that they are not Igbo.
The Yoruba are significantly monolingual and monocultural
Wow. I never knew those groups were non-igbos...does that mean they have completely different belief system, cultural values and lifestyle from the other Ibo folks?
Also, for them to be lumped with the Igbos, doesn't that mean they share key similarities with them for that to happen?
Same in UNIBEN. Unless they tell you their surname, you wouldn't know their ancestry is not Yoruba.
Lagosian Igbo's for the most part hang around their fellow Lagosian Yorùbá's. In fact, they solely speak Yoruba to other Yorùbá's from other towns and you know what, no one bat's an eyelid about it.
I myself have never asked any Lagosian where their ancestry is, if it ever comes up in conversation, it will be them that volunteer to tell you.
We had an Owerri boy on the same course, the day my Lagosian Igbo friend told me he couldn't totally understand his Igbo shocked me. This is the same guy that has no problems understanding heavy Ekiti accents.
Where you grow up is a major determinant to how fluent you are in a language.
Also, there are variations in the Ibo language that could make it difficult to understand some 'thick Igbo accent/ variation/ dialect'...eg...The brand of Ibo spoken in some interior of Ebonyi differs from that spoken in Enugu... Just like Ijebu Yoruba is different from Egba Yoruba, yet both are Yoruba from the same state
Mynd44: If this is done, I will fully support tenants paying rent monthly with one month deposit.
You can't expect landlords to collect rent monthly when it takes 6 months to evict
Monthly rent won't work in Nigeria. A lot of people are too difficult and dishonest. It will create so much problems the government will not be able to handle.
Onuimo1: Una never come out of renewed shege banza you're talking about 2079. Channel this permutations on how to hold your leaders accountable not asking who'll be beatable in 2098. When your leaders see these kind of comments they feel relaxed and do anyway and anyhow they want because the people are Carried away by unnecessary permutations.
Eriokanmi: A good reason I always resigned every 2 years of employment in those days. Naija employers are mostly slave drivers. I never gave a damn. They'd be shedding crocodile tears each time I was summoned in a mgt meeting and be asking me to tell them why I was leaving and explain any challenges faced, which must have influenced my decision so they could improve on it and make me change my mind.
Solid 7 armed gangs came to my apartment on the eve of sallah. They took away the brand new tear rubber car which my employer bought for me back then.
Instead of my MD to first ask after my family and their safety during the invasion, he was busy asking me where and where did I stop on my way home from work that night and whether I informed the police immediately after they took the car away. Thank God, the car was found somewhere in Ogun state, parked, 2 days later. There was a tracker on it so the tracking company monitored and stopped it safely.
About a month later, I tendered my resignation. My MD knelt down, begging me to stay. By the time I explained, he was sober. Most Nigerian employers don't see their employees as part of their success stories rather, they feel they're doing their staff a favour by employing and paying them salary. Once the unexpected happen, they replace them immediately.
I think it has to do with how much emotional intelligence the folks in charge have opened up themselves to. Ideally, a much older folk in charge should seem very balanced in decision making...due to life experiences they have had.
Others may see the person as too soft but when you have seen so much in life, you will tend to go softly on others especially when you are a deep thinker...you could realize that the person couldn't have responded better because of the situation at hand.
Yankiss: Lol. Let's have a detailed breakdown of these exports not figures. Which countries are we exporting to and what quantity of what and by who? When did that start? We are curious to know please!
