thanks a lot @jesus for not putting me in your miserable so called heaven bound list.

i can assure you that the christian heaven is a very boring place indeed and i will not advise any body to put his or her hopes in getting there.

it is a sorry sight indeed going to one of the lower planes inhabited by christians who have died on earth. the funny thing about them is that they do not even know that they are dead and they are still singing christian songs and waiting for the second coming of jesus christ. sad indeed.

i do not expect anybody to believe me but i keep on saying it that if you do not know where you are going and how to get there, you can end up just anywhere. and of course a pleasant surprise is awaiting christians when they will drop their physical body and come face to face with the reality of the other planes of existence.

there will be no place to hide from your stubborn ignorance.

the problem with scientists is that they feel that every phenomenon must have a physical explanation. if it doesn't then it is not valid. that is where their limitations start.

we die every day. once you are asleep, your physical body starts resting then the real you, soul,  which is wearing this physical body goes on a trip into one of the inner planes of God where it has experiences.

in the morning soul comes back into the physical body and then the body reawakens. the only problem is that many unaware souls are not able to remember vividly where they go when they are asleep nor are they able to control it.

at death soul simply drops the physical body and goes back to its creator. the physical body of course goes back to the dust whence it came from.

what is so special about being a christian?

the question i expect  you to be asking is, is beyonce a loving person? does she reach out to those less privileged than her? how much of the blessings of God does she give back to life? this is what matters.

if more christians concentrate on this points i have enumerated you will find yourself living a much richer life than vainly parading yourselves as God's chosen people which you definitely are not.

i do not know why it is difficult for you to realize that this earth alone is pure hell and any God that will still put people into your christian hell after a lifetime of hell on earth to me is more devilish and wicked than even the so called devil himself.

the religion that worries me more is islam.

this religion is filled with illiterates that do not read their holy books and are quick to violence once they feel their religion is abused.

when i was in zamfara i asked for the koran and some books on islam. after reading them i asked some of the moslems in my work place questions about some things i read in the koran.

to my surprise i discovered that they do not read their koran at all. this is the reason northern nigeria will remain a volcano spot for a long time to come. ready to erupt at any small provocation. may God save us all.

i strongly agree with you.

i made up my mind a long time ago that i will never have anything to do with a God who will send souls to such a place as hell as described by Christians. even men are more loving than such a God who is supposed to be all loving.

as per sinners being satanists, then everybody in this world is a satanist because there is no body who does not sin.

it is clearly stated in the bible that even if you think negatively you have sinned.

i will say that i strongly agree with you.

gradually people will start waking up to the fact that the way they are approaching religion is causing a lot of havoc and will start approaching it in a more harmonious way.

and of course taking into consideration what is happening in Europe is a clear indication of the fate that awaits the major religions in Africa as things get better people will start reducing their commitments to religion.

my drive for truth actually drove me away from the henotheistic religions that you described because i was really tired from being told that i am different from my fellow souls just because we have different beliefs about God.

i was tired of arguments and counter arguments and endless quarrels over God. i asked God please show me how i can love thee and also how i can love my fellow souls. the answer to my plea is what brought me to where i am now.

judging from the number of people on NL who share the same views with you, it makes me wonder how long it will take before people start realizing that love is what really matters and not religion

what amazes me most of the time is how people in the name of religion become totally insensitive and very selfish not bothering to find out how their actions or inactions affect the next person.

in the northern part of nigeria most of the major roads in major towns are totally closed to traffic on fridays during their friday jumaa prayers. they do not care that there are non moslems living amongst them who are seriously affected by the closure of those major roads and i have never seen them bothered about it.

this to me is one of the reasons that i hate religion. if a religion can make me to be so callous as not to bother about how i am making life hard for the next person then i think i am better off without one.

this nairaland religious section is very poor indeed.

mostly boring christians and moslems with their boring heaven and hell.

i wish other religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Jainism, etc. can come on board to give us a more broader based views on most of these posts.

your reply to my post has clearly shown me that you are very ignorant about spiritual matters.

i have starred at death at various points in my life without any fear and without needing to fight back.

why?

because i have come to realize that God is with me at all times and that God is all powerful. i do not need to fight for God or to fight for my life because my life is in God's hands.

i have had a lot of experiences to show me time and time again how much God loves me. i do not need a book to explain that to me.

until other religions come to that realization that you do not need to fight for God and that also you do not need to fear for your life then i am afraid that the unnecessary killings in the name of God will continue.

but i will also remind you that he who kills in the name of God will also pay the price in the name of God. there are no excuses.

i just dicovered that i have started developing a very big hatred for religion the way it is presented in this world.

i wish i have the words to voice out the feelings that have been bottled up in me. religion is a mess. this is something that is supposed to bring love and unity into the world but rather it is bringing death and destruction.

going through the posts that is presented in NL i have come to realise that we are in a very big mess in this world and death is the only escape.

i will never forget the experience i had in my first year in the university. i met a guy who i became friends with. he was a catholic. out of  love for our friendship i even followed him to some catholic mass. our friendship ended the day he discovered that i was not a christian. he thoroughly embarrassed me in public because of our different beliefs.

another case was a class mate that i gave all the help i could in our class for years. but the day his fellow christian questioned his friendship with me was the day our friendship ended as he suddenly realized he has been receiving help from a sinner bound for hell.

my religion taught me to love and accept others the way they are without judging them and that every soul will go back to God at its own time. but i am faced with others who believe that once i do not believe the way they do then i am condemned and they will not have anything to do with me.

how do we survive in a world like this. this question is up to everyone.

i keep on saying it that a religion is judged by the action and behaviour of its members and there are no excuses.

if any one kills in the name of my religion he or she will be excommunicated immediately and there are no excuses.

moslems can deny as much as they want they can not deceive any of us living in the northern part of nigeria. it takes very little to trigger off a riot and a killing spree.

a religion that claims to be peaceful should be seen to be peaceful

please kindly leave homosexuals alone and stop harassing them.

they are souls like you and me who simply needed love and were able to find that love in the same sex.

and i can assure you that love is really all that matters. embrace love anywhere you can find it and leave the rest for God to judge.

which heaven? the first, second or third?

oh what a sweet day it will be when i will wake up in the morning without the noise of the street preacher waking me up from my sweet dreams.

and no knocking on my door heralding the coming of the house to house preachers.

peacefully napping on the bus without any religious chorus songs keeping me awake amidst shouts of repent for the day of the lord is coming.

and of course not bothering to catch the nine o clock network news to know whether another religious riot has started as a result of some people making some silly drawings.

such a day is what i long for. a real peaceful day it will be.

of course the god of the christians is awesomely wicked., jealous and selfish.

catering only to those that worship him and ready to kill them or throw them to the wolves immediately they stop worshipping him.
a god that orders a whole nation that he is supposed to have created to be wiped off. i really do not want anything to do with such a god or those following such a god because they will be as wicked and mean as their god.

my experiences with christians clearly attest to what i have written.

since you do not believe in God, there is no need going into details.

when you die and cross over the borders of death you will have your very clear answers without any religious bias. that is if you make it across the borders of the lower plane without becoming an earth bound soul.

sometimes i wonder why molems are so touchy over the issue of their prophet.

if people come out now and start criticising my religion or my spiritual leader really i will not give a single hoot nor will any other Eckist. because it does not matter and will not change what i am in any way.

i am living in the northern part of nigeria and it is hush, hush hush when it comes to the issue of religion. religion is simply not discussed because you do not know what you will say and it will start a religious riot.

it is so unfortunate that instead of bringing peace religion has brought war and instead of bringing love it has brought hatred and divisiveness. and they all still keep talking about going to heaven. which heaven sef? after messing up earth they think that they will be allowed to enter heaven and continue the wars and divisiveness there.


sometimes i wonder what will a christian do if he sees a moslem in heaven or what will a moslem do if he sees a christian in heaven.

JESUS is a spiritually charged word just like Christ, God or ALLAH or HU.

but the power it exerts depends on the purity of the user.

this words when sung with love opens you to the holyspirit which flows through you and uses you as a channel.

the mistakes that christians make is that they think that the word JESUS is meant for only christians and also that there is no other word above it. that is very untrue.

i as an Eckist can sing the word JESUS if l feel like, it will not make me to bow down or collapse and start convulsing or such foolish things that christians connect with the name.

likewise singing the holy name of God HU, will also open you up to the holyspirit and allows God to purify you and use you as channel. the word just like other holy names of God does not belong to any religion. it is there for any soul who wants to grow spiritually to use.

i had to actually teach my sister who is a christian how to use the word JESUS more effectively in her prayers. when she did, she had her experiences which enabled her to understand a lot of things i used to tell her.

on the part of moslems, singing the 99 holy names of ALLAH is actually the begining of true spirituallity. it is not a matter of argument or talking or trying to convince any one that your way is better.

spirituallity is very practical thing which you must experience to have true realization of God. start by singing these spiritually charged words with love in your heart during your prayer sessions and watch your experiences.

we are now in the age of reasoning where every knowledge is scrutinized in the light of modern knowledge and any one that is found wanting is tossed aside into the garbage heap.

but unfortunately some people have been trapped in the past and are directing their lives based on the experiences of primitive people more than two thousand years ago. overlooking the grand experiences that one can have here and now

i am calling on all the doctors in the house and all the medical students in the house to meet here.
let us share information about our careers.

if the moslems in the world had learnt this wise saying all this nonsense about drawings would have stopped.

but due to the fact that anytime this issue arises moslems take to the streets in protest, that means they have shown their detractors their sore point.

i do not think it will ever stop. violence is never the answer to provocation but sweet surrender to God to take care of the situation

for me man has been the greatest devil i have ever encountered in this life.

try getting close to a man who does not have love in his heart and you will know what devil or evil is all about.

both christians and  moslems are pathetic. you people feel that the world revolves around you just because of the number of adherents you have.

it is always argument or counter argument. my religion is the greatest. my God is bigger than yours etc. arrant nonsense. i will rather have an atheist for a friend than either a christian or a moslem.

an atheist at least will accept me the way i am because he/she has all his/her reasoning faculties intact. and since i came to NL my feeling about this matter has been strenghened with what i am reading in one post after another.

so far as i am concerned the best people i have seen in this forum remains all the atheists in the house. when they present their cases they do it in a very logical and clear manner. meanwhile christians and moslems are still too busy fighting for their respective gods
