i once made it very clear in my earlier post that no matter what a religion professes to be, it will be judged by the behaviour of its members. no excuses. it is very clear to the whole world that there is nothing peaceful about moslems even though they claim that islam is a religion of peace. people know that their lives are not safe if they are living amongst moslems and they are not moslems themselves. they can be killed anytime. nigeria and pakistan are very good examples. i once remembered watching 3 moslems discussing with so much glee how christians were screaming as they were being butchered by moslems in one of the towns in Nigeria. a true religion indeed. |
@poster please which God are you talking about as there are many gods on NL. is it the god of the christians or the god of the moslems or the god of the buddhists and hinduists? |
both christianity and islam are 2 religions on earth today that i do not take seriously because of the behaviours of their members. these 2 religions does not appear to have any positive impact on their believers as they still go about commiting henious crimes against humanity. they are more interested in converting people to their respective religions instead of making more effort in learning how to love. this is clearly evident in NL with both of them always involved in exchanges over which religion is the true one or whose God is greater. i will rather be an atheist than be a member of either islam or christianity |
@mad max thanks a lot for your support. it feels good to know that to know that i am not alone in what i feel is the real issue. let us learn to focus on love alone and leave the rest for God to judge. i have tasted hatred and i have tasted love. and i know from experience that anytime i hate someone i feel a part of me dying and anytime i love someone i feel very much alive. so for me i have no choice, i have to love all life. |
@alexleo, thanks a lot for telling the whole nigerians that our dear dead president will go to hell. now i know where to classify you. people who can never think outside the box and people who have caged their God in a book. a God that talks only through a book written more than 2 thousand years ago. congratulations. stay with your mindset. i will never bother about you or any of your postings again because you have nothing to offer. my only happiness is that you and all other narrow minded christians like you are wrong, wrong and wrong. and the beauty of the whole thing is that a very pleasant surprise awaits you when you die and cross the borders of death, then all the illusions you hold about life will drop from your eyes and you will be faced with the real reality. and then you will realize that your deeds on earth really matters more than your so called salvation. and for your information our dear beloved former president yaradua is in the bussom of God his maker and not in your christian created hell |
@jagunlabi, kudos again. a well researched info you have provided. after reading lobsang Rampa's The Hermit, i threw away my bible and started serious spiritual research. if you read the book "Initiation" by Elizabeth Haich, you will understand the point of view of the writers of the old testament. imagine a primitive man seeing an airplane. how do you think he will describe it. it is left for those with an open mind to ask questions and find out things for themselves. |
@jagunlabi, kudos to you. you are really trying your best to relate concepts about the supreme God and its supreme love for all life to people that will never understand. it takes a long journey on the evolutionary ladder for man to reach the level of homo spiritualis. a stage where the soul automatically knows that there is no difference between it and the next soul and that God really loves us all equally and really does not care about our religion or beliefs. God is always speaking. all it takes to hear It is to be silent and listen. |
before you can understand God, you have to first of all know who you really are. not a human being parading about in a human body but as soul made in the image and likeness of God. until you step into the soul plane where you shed all the lower bodies that soul wears and also drop the mind you will never have a true realization of who or what you are talk less of who or what God is. |
@alexleo, you have not answered my question. i want you to state it very clearly. my question still remains are you telling us nigerians that our dear president who just died is now in hell because he is not a christian? come out clearly and answer this question. i do not want any beating about the bush. |
soul traveling is not used for political purposes. soul travel enables you to visit the heavens of God and learn directly from the various temples there and also learn directly from spiritual masters. the aim is to make you a better channel for God's love. |
@poster, please i want to understand you very well. are you implying that our dead president will go to hell since he was not a christian and did not accept christ as his saviour? i want you to be very clear on this issue |
@poster, you really hit the nail on the head. gradually people will come to realize that whatever religion or path that they are following does not matter. what matters is how much love they have been able to develop. life is very just and it gives back to you what you give to it. that is the immutable law of God. if a christian does evil to his neighbour then evil will such a person reap. it does not matter how many prayers such a person prays in a day. when i was in school one of my very good friend was an atheist. this guy was so full of love that people were always flocking around him and he will give you any help you need without hesitation. my room mate who was a christian will never lend me any of his study materials because i refused to convert to christianity. this issue is what i have been trying to point out here in NL. God does not favour any group. every soul is equal in the sight of God. at the end of your journey on earth you will be judged based on your actions on earth and not based on your beliefs |
@poster, it is only someone who has no love in his/her heart that will make such a very nasty post. who are you to dictate to God how It should bring souls to acknowledge It. this clearly shows that you do not even know God or Its loving ways. you should leave others alone to live their life the way they want. God in its ever loving ways cares for all of us and it really does not matter to It whether we acknowledge it or not. |
if you want information about Eckankar you can go to their website at www.eckankar.org. there are free books you can download there that will give you more information about soul travel and other areas that Eckankar teaches about. thanks |
you already know the answers to the questions you ask. the question is are you ready to accept the truth when it is presented to you? |
God is neither male or female. that is why i refer to God as It. likewise souls too are neither male or female. soul can wear either a male or female body during its incarnations in order to learn certain lessons. but soul in its pure state has no gender. |
@ S@mi (m) ride on brother for a job well done. it is so unfortunate that the people you are doing it for will never appreciate. do not bother about them at all. continue exposing the truth if you see it and i can assure you there will be one or two people out there you will touch and who will start asking some hard questions about their religion |
@jagunlabi, you may really be surprised that you will find more tolerance in northern nigeria among moslems that in southern nigeria among christains. i say so because i used to live in southern nigeria and christains did not allow me to rest because i am not one of them. there is no physical violence but you will find your psychic space being invaded all the time with unwanted prayers and people who want to convert you by all means. it was so bad that my neighbour stopped answering my greetings when she discovered that i was an Eckist and even went ahead to bring her pastor for a midnight prayer to rain prayers on my head and bind and cast me into bottomless pit. throughout the night i could not sleep because of the noise coming from her room. when of course the prayers failed, she started avoiding me but that did not bother me at all. from morning till night you are bombarded with noise on the streets, noise in public buses and noise in public places and all you keep on hearing is repent or go to hell. so i left the south and came to the north and since then i have been enjoying myself. moslems do not go out of their way to impose their beliefs on you and there is no preaching noise in public buses. and no noise on the streets. the only problem with northern nigeria is the occasional riots that occur from time to time and the riots are more of political than religious. if you will like to stay in nigeria i will suggest Abuja, the capital city for now. there is peace and security in Abuja and none of the annoying religious noises you hear in the south. |
i said it before and i will say it again. a religion is judged by the behaviours of its followers and there is no excuse. if islam is a religion of peace as they claim, then any member of the religion who kills people in the name of islam should be publicly excommunicated from the religion then and only then will we take their peaceful posturing seriously. |
first of all God did not create any hell. hell was created by the religions of man. the funny thing about hell is that everyone is going to hell. how? christian, buddhists, hinduists, atheists, pagans etc. are all going to the moslem's hell since they are infidels. and moslems, hinduists and Buddhists, atheists, pagans etc. are all going to the christian hell since they are unbelievers. therefore at the end of the day everybody is going to hell. |
@gabry reading your posts gladdens my heart and makes my day. i want you to know that i am 100% behind you. if more christians were like you, the world would have been a much better place to live. i want to encourage you to continue being tolerant to all people despite their religious affiliations for that is the beginning of love101 which is the course that God our father sent us down here to learn. do not mind all the narrow minded people who try to discourage. you will find that at the end of the road that you did not miss your way at all. |
@gabry thank God for you. it is people like you that i have been looking for in NL. i was nearly giving up. it is people like you i want to be friends with and associate with. people with open minds and tolerant hearts. please keep up with what you are doing and keep on giving everyone love irrespective of their religion or colour. |
@ ogaga4luv, you have done a very wonderful job proving to the doubting thomases from their own holy book that the christian god is full of shit. your post is enough food for thought for any serious soul. the supreme God that i know loves everyone including the devil who is of course working for It. |
@bobbyaf it is a pity that you have decided to keep your God locked up in a book, when God is alive and still speaking to ready souls today guiding them on how to fit in properly with the changing consciouness of the world today. many christians have what i call frozen state of consciousness because they were not able to make the leap from believe to knowingness. The knowledge of God is so vast and it is being taught on a daily basis through your experiences and through your dreams. a mere book can never capture the full glory of God as it is revealed to souls who are bold enough to call God their father to reveal Itself to them. there is no need for argument. experience still remains the best teacher. are you ready to allow God to reveal itself to you outside the confines of a book. the choice of course is up to you. |
@bobbya f of course i seriously agree with you. i really have a lot to learn. I had no clue you were a comedian, lol. Grin Wish you all the luck, your reply to my last post really makes me laugh. why is it so difficult for people to believe that they too like the old prophets in the bible can have a one on one relationship with God and learn directly from God without just relying on what was written in a book about other people's experiences with God God is not a stranger to us. it is only us who do not know our relationship with God. God is our father and It loves us with a love that has no comparison. God is always waiting for the soul who is bold and courageous enough to leave the human consciousness and enter the temple within to learn about Its will for us. and about God not being a killer i am talking about the god depicted in the old testament who sends the Israelites to wipe out their neighbours. i said that the god of the Israelite is not the supreme God. the supreme God loves all souls equally and does not give a damn about your religion or tribe or colour. the supreme God can never send a nation to wipe out another nation because It is the father of all nations. |
@airdig, what you have to understand is that whether you like it or not a religion will be judged by the behaviour of its adherents. if a religion claims to be a religion of peace then it's adherents should be seen to be peaceful without exceptions and if there are exception such people should be immediately called to order by the hierarchy of the religion. the problem with both christianity and islam today is that there is no central control anymore. anybody can come up with his or her own interpretation of the holy scriptures and start harming people based on that interpretation and nobody can call the person to order. so this is exactly what is happening in saudi arabia. they are making their own interpretations and carrying out nefarious actions. what makes it worse is that the country is where muslims go for their holy pilgrimage. so whatever action they take will have a very big effect on people's perception of islam. this is the truth of the matter. |
@ bobbyaf @ benodicof course i seriously agree with you. i really have a lot to learn. but i will prefer to learn it from God directly and not through a book written thousands of years ago filled with human errors of translation and interpreted by people as it favours them. so i have become the seeker of truth as it is and this seeking led me to the temple within me in which the spirit of God dwells and through which i have come to know that my father God was not a killer, is not a killer and will never be a killer. Its nature is love and love alone. thanks jagunlabi for coming back and making such beautiful posts. |
@toba the principle of sowing and reaping is what is known as the law of karma or the law of cause and effect. this is the law that is guiding all souls in the universes of God. and this law forms one of the basic foundations of my religion. through the knowledge of this law, no one needs to tell me about what is wrong or right because i know that every action i take will definitely come back to me. so why should i sow discord, hatred or death. so i consciously choose to sow seeds of love. and of course love is what i get in return. this law has also taught me to learn to take full responsibility for my actions. it is not the devil that is responsible for the bad things that happen to me. i and only i am fully responsible for my life. more understanding of this law is what is needed in this world today in order to make this place a more harmonious place to live. |
@bobbyaf You are in no position to question the Creator's right to take life, since you didn't grant life to anyone. Keep that in mind please.i believe that i have every right to question God's actions since i am It's son. if my father takes any action that i do not understand it will be very stupid of me not to try and find out why. Obviously, and unfortunately, in all of your experiences you never spent the time to learn the truth about who God really is. Its never too late though. God has His servants that will guide you, and this fora provide quite a few.my dear i do not need any one to tell me the truth about God. God is my father and Its spirit is within me. if there is any thing i need to know about God, i simply go to the temple within and ask. i always get answers. the truth is never in any book but is within you. of course i do not expect you to understand. but my experiences remain my authority and no one can take that away from me. God can never be like a human being. creating people with one hand and destroying them with the other hand. why don't you try asking God directly instead of relying on what is written in a book. |
the riddle of God is this. God is what you believe It is. No man is wrong about the existence of God and yet no man is right about his knowledge of God. there is no mystery in God except that It is what each soul believes that It is . so the riddle is that; but all men will quarrel and argue about the greatness of God and their own knowledge of him. |
@jagunlabi I would love to expansiate because it is not dificult, but i have decided to stay on the sideline as far as this thread is concerned.i have already made my contributions and please i wish you would stop sitting by the side line and get into the fray. your fine insights is really needed on this thread. please do not mind chinedumo |
@cyberfreak, unfortunately i do not know how to curse people. i only know how to love and that i can teach you very well how to forgive and give only love in return. |
