l like to congratulate you again because the step you have taken is one that very few christians know about. you are going to gradually turn from a believer to a knower. you are finally realizing that God is a very personal concept indeed and It is very unique to the individual. you will be gradually guided step by step by your own path according to your strength and weaknesses until you become a purified vessel for God to use for Its purposes on earth. the true word of God is not written in a book but it is written in our hearts. in one of my early inner experiences when i started having contacts with the spiritual masters my major question was about the existence of hell. so in one of my experiences i asked the master about it. does hell really exist and what is it like? the master took me to a place where a very big fire was burning very fiercely. he asked me to enter the fire. but i was alarmed and refused. he told me not to be afraid that i should go ahead and enter the fire. i finally picked up courage and entered the fire. but i was surprised that i did not feel anything. the fire was all over me but i was not consumed by it. i came out of the fire and the master said to me. as soul you are eternal and immortal. and no fire can burn soul, no water can drown soul, no knife can pierce soul. soul is made of the same qualities as God, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. the only sin soul commits is being ignorant of its real nature and thinking that it the human body. after i came back from that experience i became the fearless one.

this abuzola must have been an interesting fellow. i never got the opportunity of meeting him.
Christianity Etc › Re: If Abuzola Was Banned What About Ogaga4luv? by benodic: 2:11pm On Mar 27, 2010
has anybody ever thought of how this world will be if there is no differences of opinion? very boring indeed. when i first stumbled on this forum i was so excited to discover that there were atheists, Christians, satanists, Muslims etc. i was hoping that more people from other religions will join. this makes it a very interesting mix. it is in forums like this you will come to realize that the world does not begin and end in your backyard. it is also here that you will learn to question your faith and make more research to find out whether you are really on the right part or not. if people like ogaga4luv and jagunlabi are banned from this forum then i have no business coming to this forum because i am a very staunch proponent of spiritual freedom and love. if you can learn to love someone even if that person is totally different from you then you have made a very giant step in life. i remember an experience i had in my work place. my secretary who is a Muslim got a job with intercontinental bank and was looking for people to guarantee him for the job. he went to all his Muslim brothers but all of them refused. he was so reluctant to come to me but he finally did. i did not hesitate even one second to sign the guarantors form for him and he was surprised. right now he is still enjoying his new job with a salary ten times more that he was earning before. this is the point of all the posting i have been making in this forum. are you ready to upgrade to divine unconditional love that is beyond religion and beyond tribe or language. if you are, then welcome to my club of lovers of life. i love ogaga4luv, i love jagunlabi, i love davidylan, i even love marykelly. i love all you naijalanders. you all make my day rock
Christianity Etc › Re: Lets have your personal supernatural experiences by benodic: 1:44pm On Mar 27, 2010
the reason the master does not reveal himself as i said earlier is because of your state of consciousness. you are not yet ready to accept any identity of any master apart from Jesus. in one of my inner experiences i had a very conscious out of body movement and i found myself in a temple. i saw a man dressed like a monk with a hooded robe. he came up to me and introduced himself as st Paul of the bible. we had a very interesting conversation in which he explained to me that in the early days of Christianity out of body movement was very common as they were taught how to leave the body consciousness and travel to temples in the inner planes where they are taught directly the mysteries of God. they were known as the Gnostics. the agnostics were those that relied on written words. unfortunately present day Christianity have been taken over by agnostics who rely only on the written word and have no inner experiences. now you know why your experiences were more interesting to me than all the words being spoken here. you are in the beginning stages of becoming a gnostic. all you need now is to remove all fear and have an open mind. there is a lot to learn. in fact too much to learn that it can not contain in a single book.
Christianity Etc › Re: Lets have your personal supernatural experiences by benodic: 1:22pm On Mar 27, 2010
congratulations, you actually do have a spiritual master. my dear in the inner worlds there are lots of spiritual masters who work for God in helping souls develop spiritually. if yours is still invisible it is because you may not yet be ready to accept his identity so you only hear his voice. why don't you try asking him to show himself to you. the experience might be more interesting.
Christianity Etc › Re: Lets have your personal supernatural experiences by benodic: 1:11pm On Mar 27, 2010
dear noetic16, i love your inner experiences. next time you have a conscious out of the body movement, try asking for your spiritual master to appear so that you can have some discussions with him. or have you already had such experiences? if so would you mind sharing

Many people will never know the meaning of Jesus Christ. i will rather re-phrase it this way : many Christians will never know the meaning of Jesus Christ . i can assure you that there are lots of souls out there who are quietly carrying out the mission of love. those ones are the ones really closer to the heart of God and Jesus because that is the message that Jesus brought to earth. i can also assure you that i do not need to go to a book in order to communicate with Jesus and to ask him anything i want to know about his life and ministry. unfortunately you Christians rely on a book not even written by Jesus and which is full of human errors from multiple translation.

dear babaearly
why should you care what i am when you are not ready for any truth outside of Christianity. please continue waiting for the 2nd coming of Jesus. the post i made is for ready souls who are ready to discover the truth about life for themselves and not just relying on what was written in a book two thousand years ago.

when i left the southern part of nigeria i also left behind all the noise pollution called praying to God and disturbances in public buses called evangelism. now i am in the northern part of nigeria and i wake up with the moslem's morning calls for prayers and i quietly do my spiritual exercises and contemplations in a very quiet and conducive environment and i sit back and listen to the celestial sounds of God without any disturbance or banging on the walls of my room by a neighbor who is trying to tear down the kingdom of the devil. true prayer is the art of listening to God and not talking and shouting. of course God is not deaf

Christianity Etc › Re: What If It Happens Tonight? by benodic: 1:54am On Mar 27, 2010
when i was a christian i used to shake with fear any time i read messages like the one on this post. i was afraid i will be found wanting and be sent straight to hell. i used to imagine Jesus and his angels appearing in the sky and the whole world will see him all at once. then i went to secondary school and discovered geography in which i learnt that the world was round. when it is morning in Nigeria it is night in japan. then i started wondering if the world is round and Jesus appears in the sky over Nigeria, definitely those in Russia will not see him. that was the beginning of my quest for truth and now i can happily announce to all who wants to hear that no body should be afraid of the so called last day or day of rapture which even the Christians do not understand. rapture is a very personal inner spiritual experience that is taking place even as i am typing now. that is why the bible said that 2 people will be together and one will be raptured without the other knowing. rapture is the awakening of soul to the presence of God within it and it is not an event that will occur only when the world ends. so guys go out there and have fun but do it responsibly without hurting anyone
Christianity Etc › Re: "Some Moslems, Buddhists & Non-believers Are Members Of Body Of Christ" by benodic: 1:27am On Mar 27, 2010
the funny thing about christianity today is that it is all talk talk talk and no action. more serious souls are soul traveling today to the various heavens of God and enjoying the bliss of God in their daily life while going about their day quietly serving God and life without noise or fan fare. christians are waiting until they die before they enter into the kingdom of God but yet their bible says that the kingdom of God is here and now. and paul went on to say that he saw a man caught up to the 3rd heaven. no christian discusses these areas because they do not understand it. i can assure every one on NL that heaven is not owned by christians or by moslems or by any religion whatsoever. heaven is our home, where we came from. because of our immature nature God created the lower worlds and sent us down here to learn how to love. God also went further by sending more advanced souls as teachers to come and remind us about why we are here. those who will go back to heaven are those who have finished learning the lessons of love. whether you learnt it through jesus or mohammed or krishna or buddha is totally of no importance. what is important is that you must learn it or else you will keep on coming back to this school called earth through reincarnation to carry over your unfinished lessons.
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Does A Person Go After (s)he Dies by benodic: 1:05am On Mar 27, 2010
dear jagunlabi,
i watched the osho videos, very interesting indeed. i wonder what you make of them. we are souls created in the image and likeness of God. and given a cloth to  wear which is this body. at the point you are sleeping soul which is the real you leave the body temporary and makes a journey into the planes of God to have experiences which we call dreams and in the morning soul comes back to the body and puts it on again and wakes up and starts the days activities. when one does not come back from these journeys of soul through maybe a dysfunction of the body in disease states, death is said to have occurred. so if you want to have an idea of where you will end up when you die watch where you go when you are dreaming. a lot of souls when they die are surprised to find out that where they are bears a very close similarity to earth so it takes them quite some time to realise that they are dead. when my mother died i met her on the astral plane which is the next plane closest to the physical plane and she was a reverend minister. she was quite surprised to discover that there were no angels singing to welcome her and of course no Jesus for her to sit on his right side. she was taken straight to the hall of yama, the judge of the dead where her last life was reviewed and arrangements were made for her to reincarnate again on earth to continue with the lessons of love which she has not fully learnt. this is what awaits every soul on earth. as i used to say, God does not give a damn about your religion or your tribe or your language. all God cares about is whether you have learnt how to love all life without discrimination. if you have not then you will never enter the kingdom of God.
Christianity Etc › Re: Ask Jesus To Appear by benodic: 12:39am On Mar 27, 2010
it is no deceit, jesus. you people should leave ogaga alone. God gives everyone absolute freedom to walk any path that he/she wants. no one has the right to take that freedom away. i repeat no one has the right to take that freedom away. you should be more bothered by your own spiritual growth. remove the mole in your eyes first before trying to remove the dirt in another person's eyes. that is the problem with christianity. christians spend so much time and energy trying to change other people. if you devote that same amount of time and energy on developing yourself you will make more progress and will be of more use to God.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is This The Death Of The Religious Section? by benodic: 12:20am On Mar 27, 2010
religion is both a curse on humanity and a blessing. mankind can not help wondering about how he came into existence and whether there is existence after death. then religions rush to the rescue. starting from individuals who went on their own individual quest and then blossoming into organizations with instruments of control. then the madness started. all the fun gone and killing in the name of God took over the playing field. from my own point of view and from my own little excursions through the different religions present on earth today religion should be a very personal thing. just your own way of trying to find the meaning of life. and experiences from your own search should be freely shared with others without rancour. if we can not share with an open heart without resorting to abuses and threats in NL then you can imagine what it will be like in the outside world. chaos in the name of God. lets us start here in NL to learn how to love and tolerate each other. every one is entitled to his or her believe in life or unbelieve. let us learn to tap from each others knowledge because no one know it all and no religion has it all. all are simply parts of the whole.
Christianity Etc › Re: Lets have your personal supernatural experiences by benodic: 11:31pm On Mar 26, 2010
dear noetic16, that was a wonderful out of the body experience. i have had several like that and i have realised that the key is to fill your heart with love for life as this eliminates all fear. what you experienced is the beginning of spiritual freedom and when you take it further from there. you will be able to cross the borders of death whil fully conscious and visit one of the heavens of God and see how things are for yourself.
Christianity Etc › Re: Catholic S..E..X Abuse. . .of What Use Is Celibacy In The Catholic Church by benodic: 11:20pm On Mar 26, 2010
this is exactly the problem with christianity as a whole today. inability to change and adapt to the spiritual needs of people today. the catholic church is frozen in consciouness and no one want to make the first move to bring in much needed change. celibacy in the time of paul the apostle was voluntary choice and not by force but the catholic church turned it into an institution. the foundation of the catholic church is built around celibacy so they are afraid to change it fearing that it will lead to the collapse of the church. any religion that can not change with the changing times will soon become obsolete and unable to cater to the spiritual needs of people making people to start seeking elsewhere.

dear ogaga4luv,
i guess i may be the only one here who will give you these words of encouragement. i like what you are doing holding your fort. i do not know why toba does not want to leave you alone. i can understand what you are going through in this forum with all the harassments and name calling but despite it all you are still holding your own. i went through the same harassments when i left christianity and i quite agree with you christianity is full of errors which nobody is making any effort to correct. what toba does not know which i know is that the kingdom of God is for people like you ogaga. people who are ready to think outside the box, people who are adventurous. and of course the meek like the christians will inherit the earth.

i was just going through the site when i ran into this your interesting post.
it enabled me to understand you more. the pity is that most christians does not know that you are telling the truth. your knowledge is based on your experiences and that makes you unique. i want to encourage you not to back down and stop bothering about all the narrow minded christians who pester you instead of making more effort to have their own inner experiences. from my own inner experiences i know that what you posted is the truth but the question is how many people are ready for the truth. very few indeed
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Is Heaven? by benodic: 1:29am On Mar 26, 2010
close your eyes and put your attention in the space between your two eyebrows. that is the narrow door way that leads to heaven. that is the window of soul, the spiritual eye. sing a spitritually charged word like HU, GOD or CHRIST while your attention is on your spiritual eye. when you are ready with no fear in your heart, the window will open and you will take a short trip into the one of the heavens of God and come back and tell the story of course
Christianity Etc › Re: Lets have your personal supernatural experiences by benodic: 12:58am On Mar 26, 2010
are you asking for supernatural experience or spiritual experiences? there is nothing supernatural about spiritual experiences. they are very natural because
God is not separate from us. we live and have our being in God. i have had plenty of spiritual experiences where do i start from?
Christianity Etc › Re: Names Of Nairaland Members That Will Go To Hell. by benodic: 12:51am On Mar 26, 2010
dear banom,
thank God that you are not God and you will never be God. do not judge that you may not be judged. maybe you have not heard those words before. i thank God for the truth i know now. what you may not know is that christianity is a religion built on fear. do good or you will go to hell. now what is happening in the world today is that people have started challenging the reality of a hell they are not even sure that it exist. as i always say a pleasant surprise awaits narrow minded souls like you when you will one day cross over the borders of death and come face to face with yama, the judge of the dead. all your illusions will fall away and you will even beg for hell because it will be better than the fate that awaits you.
Christianity Etc › Re: I Dare You To Respond! by benodic: 12:38am On Mar 26, 2010
dear estrella,
welcome to the seekers club or should i say questioners club. it is questions like your own that got me out of christianity simply because the answers are not in christianity. if you examine christianity critically you will discover that it just does not have the answers to the mysteries of life. if you want the answers you have to go within yourself and find God within you. remember that jesus said that he will send the comforter to his disciples and that the comforter being the holyspirit will lead them to all truth. the holy spirit is the key to the knowledge about God and about life and the holy spirit is in every soul. all you need is how to get in touch with the holyspirit of God and this is what present day christianity has lost. so to get you started on your quest i will give you a very simple spiritual exercise to help you get in touch with the holy spirit. every night sing the word JESUS in a long drawn out note. sing it as a love song. do not bother about binding any body but rather fill your heart with love. think about all the things in life that you have to be grateful for. sing this word for at least 20 minutes and then go to bed. just before you sleep ask God to reveal the holyspirit to you. that you will like to know the truth. then go to bed and then watch your dreams. this is one of the beggining steps in your quest for the truth. if you are not comfortable with singing JESUS as a love song you can sing other holy words like Christ or GOD. try this spiritual exercise and watch what happens.

when i see questions like the one above it only makes me laugh. yes i laugh because thank God i am free from all the confusion surrounding religious beliefs about the meaning of life and where we go when we die. if you are bold enough you can make this journey now that you are alive, cross the borders of so called death and come back with the memories of where you have been intact. no hallucinations and no mind tricks. just simply truth as experienced by soul. the question is are you ready?
Christianity Etc › Re: What's Your Favorite Name For God? by benodic: 1:46am On Mar 24, 2010
my favorite name for God is HU. sung as a love song it opens your heart to the sweet love of God. it is the name of God that does not belong to any race, tribe or language nor to any religion and it is for all souls to use in order to reconnect with their father and find their way back to heaven where they originally came from.
Christianity Etc › Re: Ask Jesus To Appear by benodic: 1:24am On Mar 24, 2010
dear zodiac61, i really agree with you. please keep on asking jesus to appear to you before you will believe in him. you have the right as soul to make that demand. you do not have to believe in anything you do not have proof of its existence. i encourage you to keep on with the way you are going about it. i can assure you that once you start making that demand an inner preparation will start within you and one day you will see yourself standing face to face with jesus and after that experience you will not need anybody to convince you again about his existence and you can go ahead and ask him directly any question about his life that you want to ask. you will then no longer be the believer but you will become the knower.
Christianity Etc › Re: She Plans To Commit Suicide: Help by benodic: 1:06am On Mar 24, 2010
it is a real pity that many people has not learnt how to give others their spiritual freedom. i hope that moslems will read this post and ponder over it viz-a- viz trying to convert people to their religion. of what use is it to join a religion that will not allow you to leave when you want to. it is quite pathetic. every soul has the right to join any religion that he/she wants to and no body has the right to deny anyone that right.
Christianity Etc › Re: Ask Jesus To Appear by benodic: 1:13am On Mar 21, 2010
ogaga4luv, you are really doing a wonderful job. i really commend you. do not bother yourself with any narrow minded person. it is very good for one to take a very critical look at his or her scriptures and try to get the real gist from it. instead of swallowing everything hook line and sinker. this same challenge i have thrown at christians to ask jesus to appear to them in order to clarify some issues about their religion but nobody bothers. jesus as well as others spiritual masters are readily available to appear to any soul and answer any questions they have about life but you have to invite them first. it is a very simple spiritual exercise. just call on your spiritual master and ask him to appear, that you have questions to ask him and then watch what happens.
Christianity Etc › Re: Can One Go To Heaven With Tatoo? by benodic: 12:47am On Mar 21, 2010
a lot of people are really worried about heaven. my dear the journey to heaven is not done with the physical body. it is a spiritual journey. what matters is the state of your heart. is there love in it? not how many tattoos are in your body. the key to heaven is love and love alone not your religion or who you believe in. the religions and the various masters were brought to earth to help man learn once more the lessons of love. get thee first love and all others will follow.

everyone is busy defending his turf and leaving the real gist. how many people are really ready to do what it takes to enter the kingdom of God. this kingdom is here and now and you do not have to die to visit any of the heavens of God and come back tell about it because you are soul made in the image and likeness of God. how do i put in words the discipline it takes , the pure love for God and life that you must have. the kingdom of God is for the bold and adventurous soul. are you ready to make the journey?
Christianity Etc › Re: God Is Not A Killer by benodic(op): 11:30pm On Mar 20, 2010
dear Jagunlabi,
of course i am not talking about the god of the bible that is yahweh or jehovah who is the tribal god of the jews. i am talking about the supreme God who belongs to no religion and whose nature is only love and nothing else. this God created all of us as souls and sent us down to the school called earth to learn how to love and after learning how to love we go back home to It to help in furthering the evolution of its creations. this God i am talking about can only be experienced and after the experience you will come to know what true love is. then and only then will you realize that we are one with God and God killing us will be like God killing itself. and of course that also goes to say that God does not send anyone to Hell either. we send ourselves to the hell that we create for ourselves by shutting our heart to love. just imagine how sweet this earth will be if we wake up to a new realization that we are all brothers and sisters created by one God who does not discriminate and who allows us to worship It in any way that suits us and who really does not care if we deny that It exist and who still gives us love even when we are mean to our fellow soul. then all these arguments about God will cease as we get down to the task at hand which is to learn how to love all life without any discrimination.

thanks a lot mperor for that wonderful post. you see anytime man starts losing his common sense in the name of religion that is when trouble starts for that is also when intolerance starts. i have been in some places in northern nigeria where people threw stones at my wife because she was wearing trousers without realising that she was wearing because of the nature of work she was doing. one should not throw away his/her common sense in the name of religion
