Politics › Re: Reno Omokri: There Are Other Ethnic Nations More Tribalistic Than Fulani by Benwallt(m): 10:43pm On Oct 11, 2021 |
rickyrex: sure one reeks of tribalism than the other. Am an Igbo I was born and raised here in Lagos.. and i have lived in three Western state. Stayed in North for one year and spent five years in the East... My opinion is based on what I have experienced. The three major group has tribalism flowing in their blood... Still as you said the percentage veries. And theres a reason about it. The Spirit of accomodation made the issue of tribalism dropped a bit.... Let's assume other region has same Spirit of accomodating other tribes, maybe tribalism won't have eaten us deep. Because everyone will work and understand each other. Well said. Our fathers can't do the work neither can our fathers father. Imagine what brews here spill to the streets, we kill, gag, shoot, lynch and burn one another. We don't need to study one other. We have been together for so long not to have known one another or for a united front. Nigeria composition is complex but things can work only when we work on ourselves. Igbo, yoruba, hausa, what is the difference. We all have one common goal - to succeed. Why can't we bankroll one another? Why can't we support one another? Why must we caress the tribal line. A forum like this should a platform to brainstorm among the youths not one to create dichotomy. I totally agreed with you that tribalism flows across the various tribes. My question now is, of what use is our education and exposure that we can't rise above petty tribalism? |
Politics › Re: Reno Omokri: There Are Other Ethnic Nations More Tribalistic Than Fulani by Benwallt(m): 9:27pm On Oct 11, 2021 |
rickyrex: May God help and deliver this country from hatred to one another. We are divided but offline and online. And some people will be sounding like within them they want one Nigeria whereas reverse is the case. No doubt what omokri said is some how truth but not really true.. interms of accomodating yoruba's are good at that.. but talks about tribalistic bro nah only Lagos different oh. This is because most people controlling the helm of affairs are non indegene. Tribalism is virtually been witnessed in all tribes in Nigeria.... Visit some companies in lagos... Or companies around agbara ogun state.. you will see how tribalism play in some of their organisation. I don't want to mention name of companies here if I do some people who work and have worked there will ascertain my claim. Yoruba's are accomodating but that they are not tribalistic in Lagos politics does not mean they are not tribalistic in nature and other states. If you compare side by side you will see that one reeks of tribalism than the other. And in this case we are not including the ethnic minorities but the three dominant one. I remember one Anosike when growing in one of the western villages. The most thorough beaten I received till date was because I called him "omo Igbo" my father schooled me on discrimination and gave me the beaten still fresh in my memory. It has always been one brotherhood in the west |

OneTemplate: Lol. Now that Nigeria is in serious trouble, Nigerians are facing and telling the truth about our ethnic indigenes and their intrinsic character.
No doubt Omokri is talking about the Igbos with the bolded above. We can all see their antics in ala Igbo where they are even executing fellow Igbo because they feel they are striking a blow against Fulanis.
After GEJ hailed the Yorubas as the only ethnic group who have managed diversity and development well in Nigeria, I knew Omokri's brain would reset to truth mode about the SW.
As it stands now, if Omokri holidays in Nigeria wifh his kids and wife, I can beg any money he will not set foot outside SW the whole time he will be here. He certainly will not go near ala Igbo lol.
We can lie all day to satisfy our ethnic jingoism against others but the very dark current reality of Nigeria is now making many to admit the truth. Even if reluctantly. You have spoken well brother. Instead of the other side to take a cue and foster brotherly love instead of drive for money. They will restort to hate. |

Death is the fear many join occultism, doing rituals and so on. because it is faceless and it doesn't give you any chance to survive when it comes visit |

haddeylium: You need not to worry yourself about the bible principles that condemns smoking if you're not a Christian. Medically speaking, you and I know that smoking is not for people that want to live long. Of course, you're familiar with the label 'Smokers are liable to die young'. In that light, JWs cherish life because it's a gift from our God. We would not willingly do anything that would shorten or end our life. Just think about six million people that die needlessly annually from diseases that could have been prevented by simply not smoking.. na person write an not any of the apostles. All is down to immune system. Some smokes for 70yrs only death took them away from it while some takes a drag and goes nuts.
