Yes I quite aware to UK financial requirement for spouse visa. That's why I looking at Canada. Would it be advantageous for her to apply with me as her dependent. Would her British passport give her any levage over her Nigerian passport. What programme would she aplied for with M.Sc degree. Or I applied with her as my dependent. If she to do the application, can she do it from the UK? Thanks.
U can go through the study route. Let her get admission for a programme into a canadian institution and apply for TRV(study) and u can apply for SOWP alongside with her. You will be entitled to same duration she will have to study(2yrs),then u can decide wat next after that PGWP or EE..

Modified: If you are gonna use her MSC, then EE it is straight away from wherever..Apply dupyshoo's advice.

seiraries:

whether I was accepted to study at the Canadian institution
2. Ability to lay for my trip and support myself
3. Whether am inadmissible in canada
4. Whether I would leave after my stay
Relationship with sponsor

1. Can you please state what your first degree was in and the programme you're going for? (If both programmes are related, I suspect this is a case of an incorrectly filled information on your form i.e your student number or Institution's DLI number etc. which can be easily rectified. For #2, ensure your uncle states why he's sponsoring you and how much will be made available to you annually. This should cover your flight to school as well ( in others). Also, include a notarised affidavit of sponsorship to back up the sponsorship declaration.
2. For reason #3; This is tied to 1 above. It shows the VO isn't convinced you're going to study. (incorrectly filled info again either in your questionnaire/form or both. (also easily amendable)
3. Reasons #4 and #5 are related. All you need to do is work on your home ties to Nigeria. If possible, have your uncle provide you his personal SOA instead of the company SOA you used previously.

The number of terms you choose to pay for is your choice and I don't think it shows desperation. Rather, it should be evidence of preparedness on your part to study in Canada (IMO). It depends on your perspective.

[edited] P.S- you could also request for your gcsm file to better understand the VOs mind.
I have said before that these reasons are not the reasons. Every refusal template starts with those generic write-ups. You just ended up confusing the guy the more cos what you both are focusing on is off-point.

My half sister(same father) her husband and daughter.
My sponsor is my dad,he's here in Nigeria
U can fill her details in d family form. Just make sure her address is not same as ur destination. And make ur application less dependent on her or anyone there rather let it point back home in naija. Try to show more details that will reflect ur genuine intention to study. This is very important cos they can easily put 2 and 2 together to assume u wanna elope to be with ur sis as naija no dey try.

Goodluck!

Where I am studying is exactly where my Canadian family is embarassed is it wise if I just leave out the fact that I even know anybody in Canada?
When you say family, who exactlyy are they?Bro/sis? Parents? Who is ur sponsor? Same family?

Hello house! Pls I want to ask if stating to the vo that I av family in Canada would make him deny me visa
I don't think so. Especially if where ur studying is quite different from where they are and it should not be seen like u are trying to go and live with them and remain in Canada. It can be dicey. To overcome thisn I think you have to show that you have sufficient ties in Naija also so as not to be seen as dependent on your Canadian family..

Cheers!

Hello guys my application has just been refused. I applied online Oct 12. There reasons were
1. whether I was accepted to study at the Canadian institution
2. Ability to lay for my trip and support myself
3. Whether am inadmissible in camada
4. Whether I would leave after my stay
Relationship with sponsor

Although I sent them my admission letter and my sponsor is my uncle, but j used his company, so I didn't really state in my SOP y he was sponsoring me.
He had closing balance of 33m and the SOA OF THE COMPANY was really blur. Very very blur. The company wrote a letter of declaration.
What I do not understand is that I submitted my admission letter but they said i wasn't accepted. Don't get.
Anyways, planning to retire. This was mostly my fault though. I wish all TRV hopefuls the best
Look out for the boxes ticked..Those are the reasons not the generic stuff u are quoting.mGive the house ur main reasons and profile for advice...

I will resend the app soon.
Appreciate you.
Did u write a Statement of Purpose initially? If you did, work on it to help clear any doubts about ur intentions and subsequent return to naija. Add more to ur documents that will support ur purpose of study. You are very close..

I wish u the very best!

They simply weren't convinced enough that u had genuine intentions to study.Hence the 2 reasons:Purpose of visit and length of stay.I am very optimistic that u will get it on a 2nd trial. You need to find a way to explaain the differences in ur UG course of study, proposed course and work experience. U need to make them see reasons thaat u aren't just trying to elope.

Thanks @Berexio1.
I graduated with a 2:2
Cambrian College, International Business Management.
I applied online on the 8th of October.
Did biometrics on the same day.
Passed medicals on the 21st of November.
Refusal notice on the 9th of December.
I've got good travel history and SOA (Self funding). I think age my be the denying factor. 33 next birthday going for PG Cert.
Age has nothing to do with it bro. U did upfront medicals?Wat did u study at Undergratuate level?

please anyone should help me answer this question. if a person should choose to reapply the 2nd time after first refusal, does the canadian embassy requires that i do a fresh medical test allover again?

also does the canadian embassy charge any ammount for the processing of documents or visa or TRV?

please guys help me with answers
After using agents, U start asking questions.. Well to answer u, ur medical is valid for 1year so u won't need to do another. Secondly, once u pay ur visa fees and biometrics, u are not required to pay anything again..If u like make that agent use u do Christmas!

For some reasons which I think a part is the technical issues on their website, Online seem to have been halted. Papers are having a filled day.

U guys complaining should learn to read events. Your TRV will come certainly. Rather than worry and cast aspersions on things u can't change. Just siddon dey look.
Your testimony is Coming!

Hello house. Hope you had a wonderful day today. Please can someone give me an info to my enquiry.

I applied for my student permit on the 12th of October via paper route, was called for medicals on 26th October and I did the medicals on 30th October. Till now I haven't heard any news and my school resumes on the 5th of January 2016.

Please can anyone tell me what to do cos I am really getting scared of the whole thing.
Hopefully u will hear sth this week. Ur app hasn't exceeded the average processing time yet. Nothing strange!
