TARGET GROUPS/BENEFICIARIES : Widows, the Aged and Vulnerable Adults

The Kings of both communities were very delighted to receive the Teams of members who visited.

They noted that it was a great moment for the people to receive such timely palliatives from a Private Organisation, particularly at a time when it seemed that the Government had abandoned them and especially when so-called palliative distributions initiated by many other private NGOs & corporate organisations were directed to rich communities and mainly just for tv and media image laundering purposes.

The PLIDE Teams for the respective locations moved from door-to-door to distribute the food items to the target beneficiaries in the Communities.

The distribution was targeted at, and fully executed, a total beneficiary catchment of two hundred and forty (240) families, broken down as follows:

1. One Hundred and Thirty (130) Families based at Iru Community,
2. One Hundred and Ten (110) Families at Orile - Agege

The Beneficiaries appreciated and prayed for the continuous growth of PLIDE.

The PLIDE Project Contingent to Iro Community was made of : Mr 'Sola Fayemi, the Gen. Sec of PLIDE, Mrs 'Bukola Adeyemi (Director of Corporate Communications) and Mr Taiwo Okunuga (Member).

The PLIDE Project Contingent to Orile-Agege was made of: Mrs Toluwalope Daramola (Special Projects Coordinator) and Ay MNole Yinka (Member).

It was a successful project execution across two axis which were surgically executed to impact the most needy and economically-vulnerable. To God be the glory, it (the Project) was a resounding success.

This is really below the belt and very uncalled-for. I used to really like this Chanel Chin, based on the interviews of Chief Ogundoyin and what he said about her. Equally, I’ve always disliked this Emir of Iwo because of his irascible ways.

However, this interview has made me lose all respect for this woman. Your husband (whilst you were still together) allowed you to record him in his private moments. Why use it against him just because you have beef between you now? It’s really childish and disgusting.

For all those already shouting crucify him without proper evidence, it might be cigarette then Emir was smoking. It just might!
