Politics › Re: Court Refuses To Stop Saraki's Trial by Bevista:
Justice Mohammed held that, in view of the constitutional and radical nature of the issues raised in the respondents’ objection, it was reasonable for the court not to waste time on interlocutory applications.
I guess some judges are beginning to catch the anti-corruption bug. The judiciary must not allow itself to be used by politicians to insult our collective sensibilities through frivolous petitions. Saraki must submit himself to the CCT to answer to the charges.

All Patriotic Nigerians must rise up and support the anti-corruption fight. Witch-hunting is not against any law in the country as long as the Witch being Hunted is truly guilty of Blood Sucking.

It is absolutely imperative for the CCB to pursue this case to a definitive conclusion as this will serve as a marker that the anti-corruption fight is for real. The era of Impunity and Sacred Cows should be gone for good.

Bro... after all the brother said to enlighten you...this be your comment? Even worse than any crime...is for a man to keep the window of his mind shut from enlightenment. Keep finding reasons to justify your tunnel vision....it would take you far in life. @topic..... too many tourists period commit this crime of opportunity because they see no security. Usually the state would detain her....that's a felony...she should be facing jail time...then deported.
I asked a simple question and you were quick to judge. I, probably, share the sentiments of the OP more than you do,but was merely trying to deepen the debate by playing "Devil's Advocate".

The NANS president, Tijani Sheu, and some groups headed by the Director-General of Heritage Group, Katch Ononuju, had on Saturday in Abuja threatened to protest the trial of Mr. Saraki to foreign diplomatic missions in Abuja.
Dr. Katch Ononuju is a PDP member disguising as a CSO person. He even represented PDP in one of the earlier debates on AIT in a run-up to the 2015 elections. He is a wailer and should not to be taken seriously. His actions are neither altruistic nor Patriotic.

Crime › Re: Jennifer Akudihor, Nigerian Woman On Holiday In The US Shoplifts Massively by Bevista: 10:58am On Sep 21, 2015
If an Igbo person is caught for doing drugs, it is not because he is Igbo- it is because of the inherent criminal nature in every human which he didn't curb. If one Hausa man is caught for terrorism, it is not because Hausa people are terrorists, it is because of the inhumane part of every human he did not restrict. If a Yoruba man is caught for raping, it does not make Yoruba people rapists, it is because that particular Yoruba man failed to control the animal instinct in him. Committing crime is never an identity of any tribe or ethnic group because speaking English does not make one a Briton.
What happens when there is a prevalence of a particular kind of crime within a particular group.

obailala:
I'm in total support of speed limiters in our public transport vehicles, anything to reduce the frequency and magnitude of carnages on our roads is a welcome development.
It would be nice if they found a way of achieving that objective at very minimal or no cost to motorists. Except the objective is revenue generation.

Better put, this is your only objective and sane write up for the year, so far.
If all Wailing and Masturbating were done this way, then one would proudly be Masturbating Wailer.

Brilliant, unbiased and balanced writeup. Can't believe I am completely on the same page with the @OP on this one.

It is absolutely imperative for CCB to do a thorough job and get this man convicted. This will definitely serve as a marker that the anti-corruption fight is real. Any thing short of that will simply embolden the criminals.

But truth be told, PDP is really morally deficient indeed.

“As far as Nigerians are concerned, it is very difficult to convince them that this orchestrated onslaught against Saraki is not a case of witch hunt.
Let us assume that it is witch-hunt. Is there any law in the country against witch-hunting? Does it preclude the fact that the Witch being Hunted is guilty of blood sucking treasury plundering?

Fellow Nigerians, let's rise up and demand that all Witches be Hunted down.

@ the bolded. Was the CBN governor in the know? Did he collude with the former president to "rape" the Treasury?
Politics › Re: Breaking: Why I Snubbed Code Of Conduct Tribunal-saraki by Bevista: 4:34pm On Sep 19, 2015
Yusuf Olaniyonu, Saraki’s spokesperson explained the absence of the senate president at the tribunal was compelled by an order issued by a Federal High Court on Thursday which directed the case should be halted.Did the FHC halt the case? I thought the Court only invited the CCB to come on Monday and explain why the frivolous injunction by Saraki should not be given.

The FCT Command will most likely effect the order. Not arresting Saraki is contempt of court and NO IGP/Commissioner will want to be docked in such a case.
The IGP is possibly constrained by the Appeal filed by Saraki's legal team.

Go and tell your dumbest Buhari to remove Amina, the acting INEC woman, who is Buhari own sister. Dunce.
Using derogatory and abusive words does not make you more clever.

The problem with some jobless non-entities is that they are equating romance blogging to political analysis.

If you cannot see the handwriting on the wall by now, you need help

Illiterate!
Easy bro. That was a damning evaluation of the @OP.

You can make do with a minutiae of the workings of the law.

The law is not amenable to emotional outbursts or wishful thinking but follows laid down procedures.

At the instance of this appeal by Saraki, the Court of Appeal would mandate all parties to maintain the status quo ante prior to the issuing of bench warrant by the Code of Conduct tribunal. Any other cause of action other than the one canvassed herein would amount to the abuse of court process and therefore ultra vires.

Saraki is a free man for now...
Noted. Tnx.

Politics › Re: Saraki's Travails, APC's Loss And PDP's Gain by Bevista: 9:23pm On Sep 18, 2015
The crack in the APC means a shrink in the party structure. Recall that APC could only win through marginal advantage of less than 3million votes.
A ruling party losing with 3 million votes?...even after all the inflated votes from SS/SE.

They controlled so much money and all the institutions of State yet they lost by that margin. If another election is conducted today PDP will loose by more than 10 million votes. That margin will even be bigger come 2019.

The looser has only filed an appeal which will not be heard till Monday. In the meantime, the IG should just obey the subsisting court order and get this criminal arrested already. He must spend the weekend behind bars.

This is one of the major problems with these nefarious criminals... using looted funds to hire expensive SANs to abuse court processes.

Just remember, even judges are now responding to the now famous Body Language. The New Nigeria has no place for you and your ilk.
Politics › Re: Why Saraki's Arraignment Is Unacceptable To Objective Observers by Bevista:
While fair-minded and objective observers have objected to the clear witch-hunt against Saraki, others who are either naive or mischievous or downright hypocritical are focusing on the guilt or otherwise of the accused.
What could fit the above description more than this bland post. I suppose that your type would rather focus on the witch-hunt part rather than the guilt part.
