Chigold101:You don't expect pictures or video during a spontaneous mob action. Live witnesses said there was stoning, and there is video evidence of the mob chanting "ole". It's up to you to choose what to believe. |
naijaking1:Then he better be reminded that the Economy is everything. Every other Agenda should lead to a better economy, else it is crazy. |
I repeat for the umpteenth time - PMB needs to constitute his Economic Team ASAP without further delay. Nigeria needs Fiscal Policy direction to move the economy out of the scum handed over by the PDP. The CBN governor is constrained as to how far he can use Monetary Policies to manage the economy/Naira. A competent Finance Minister to drive Fiscal Policies is urgently needed. The problem is much bigger than a depreciating Naira. It's about Unemployment, Over dependence on Oil, Over dependence on Imports, Poor Infrastructure, Poor local manufacturing, etc. I am desperate to hear government policies on these issues. Times like this make me want to WAIL so loud. |
Apparently, Doyin Okukpe still thinks we are still stuck in the inglorious PDP era, where everything is solved on the table of politics and Ungodly compromise. In case he has not noticed, I'd like to inform him that we are now in an era of the Rule of Law, where we openly Witch-Hunt or Stone any Criminal. The only person this will cost politically is Saraki himself and maybe his fellow Witches like Okukpe. |
"We steal because Nigerians don't stone us" - Amaechi (15 Dec 2013). Apparently, Nigerians have taken the advice of the former governor. When the whole community begins to HUNT for WITCHES, then you know it's gameover for the blood-sucking vampires. This media statement is just a futile attempt at doing Damage Control. |

sonOfLucifer:Tnx for pointing that out bro. It was actually 2013. I've corrected it. |

PMB has reluctantly approved N70m for the National Day celebration. I won't be surprised if this State celebration gulps over N500m. Colorful but wasteful. |
Brilliant writeup! The Metaphor is very apt. Is the writer subtly trying to suggest that Saraki should resign? Of course he won't. He is not that honorable and he is not that smart. |
There is a limit to what Monetary Policy can achieve in the present circumstances. PMB needs to appoint a Finance Minister and also constitute his Economic Team to articulate government Fiscal Policies to compliment what the CBN is doing. As it is, the CBN is adopting stop-gap measures due to the failure of Fiscal authorities. It is not the primary mandate of CBN to diversify or industrialize the economy. It is not the job of CBN to make us less import dependent. All these are in the realm of fiscal policies, and would directly lead to a strengthening of the Naira. The CBN should only be expected to use Monetary Policies to support/compliment government policies. As it is, it does appear as if CBN is the one driving the economy while PMB is sipping kunu in Aso Rock. |
deji68:Agree! |
chudionu58:Kids like you think because you are on a faceless forum, you can use derogatory words on others to lift your poor self esteem. |
januzaj:I don't like Robert Mugabe, but I must admit - that speech was Epic! |
Disappointed! Official statement from the government coming well over 48hrs after the incident. The government is becoming annoyingly slow. PMB needs to constitute his cabinet immediately, without further delay. Some of us might have a Patriotic duty to start Wailing soon. |
Ok |
chudionu58:Once Ministers and the Federal Cabinet have been properly constituted, then it is expected that government policies/initiatives will be rolled out. However, Nigeria's problem is not really ingenuity of policies but rather compliance with already existing codes/policies/laws. Even if PMB were not to come up with any new initiatives but is able to ensure Compliance with existing ones, then (in my book) he would have been a huge success. N87 fuel price, N50 kerosene price, TSA, etc were all GEJ ideas yet there was ZERO compliance. PMB has succeeded in ensuring near 100% compliance. Laws don't mean jack if nobody is obeying or enforcing them. This is where PMB towers above GEJ. |
AlPicapcI:You are a true son of your father! |
poiZon:Ok, eyeneka. Nya dakkanda. |
Law 1 - Never Outshine the Master (Saraki) Law 3 - Conceal your intentions (Saraki) Law 15 - Crush your enemy totally (PMB) Law 17 - Keep others in suspended terror --- cultivate an air of unpredictability! (PMB) Law 19 - Know who you are dealing with --- do not offend the wrong person (Saraki) Law 20 - Do not commit to anyone (PMB) Law 26 - Keep your hands clean (Saraki) --- Source: 48 Laws of Power - Robert Greene |
National Security is not just about the Military but also Economic Security. Just one of the more reasons why US is such a powerful country. They are largely self-sufficient. I just read it recently that the US GDP is driven by 80% local consumption. Meaning, if the rest of the world were to suddenly go into oblivion, it would only have a 20% impact on US GDP. Impressive! |
In the face of prevailing circumstances, the Committee acknowledged that synergy between monetary and fiscal policies remained the most potent option to sustainable growth. This, for me, is the main issue. PMB needs to constitute his Economic Team ASAP without further delay. This is the second time I am hearing the CBN Governor mention the need to have FISCAL policies complimenting MONETARY policies. He has just stopped short of blaming the president. |
“And by the time the ministerial nominees come, we will attend to each and every nominee based on merit and their capability to serve Nigeria without prejudice to the norms and traditions of the Senate.Good talk. Frustrating the Ministerial confirmation will affect the country more than it will affect the President. In case, most of the Senators have not noticed, Bubu is very comfortable working with Permanent Secretaries and his team of close associates. |
Noted. In the meantime, the IGP must Hunt the Witch down and drag him to the CCT tomorrow for him to defend himself against the allegation of Sucking the Blood of Kwara people and leaving them dry. |

“It is my belief that this promotion, coupled with other incentives, will encourage our troops to fight for our country,’’ he said.During the administration of a certain president and COAS, all resources meant to incentivize the troops were looted. The troops lacked adequate arms and weapons. Even food and allowances were hard to come by. Yet this gallant soldiers were court-martialled, accused of mutiny, sacked and even sentenced to death. All in a bid to hide the incompetence and Improbity of the leadership. May Allah bless PMB and Burutai for restoring back the dignity of the Nigerian Army and re-energizing the troops. |
Nobody wants to catch a falling knife! As fellow Witches, they all know that if they expose themselves unduly, they will be Hunted down too. They've got blood stains all over their mouth and claws as evidence of Blood Sucking. #WitchHuntingSeason |
bakila:Yes, all the ones caught must be dealt with. |
Dear IGP, This man must not be allowed to go to the Tribunal on his own terms. You have been instructed by a court of competent jurisdiction to get him arrested and presented to the Tribunal tomorrow. You are by this memo requested to kindly do the needful. --- Bevista |

Just noticed in my city that it is N120. I have also checked the AGO pricing template at PPPRA and the Benchmark Open Market Price is N107.44. We should expect the price to soon fall, at least, to N110 in the coming weeks. We are seeing a level of compliance in most institutions of the country never witnessed before. The "Body Language" effect is real. |
