Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Removal: NNPC Contracts Innoson Motors To manufacture city buses by Biafrarep(m): 5:22pm On Nov 28, 2021 |
Rupertek: At the bold, all I can say is God forbid! When you are playing in shark infested waters, you will always apply extreme caution. Even Innoson is smart enough to contemplate going public. Once he does such, it becomes very easy for his company to be snatched from him. He is the owner and chairman, but he isn't the one producing them directly rather his technical team. |

kingsceemark: You should apply tact! Northerners are not against the development, it is the usual envious ones here in the South that hate anything good happening to Igbos. The North is trying to normalize relationship with Igbos. If not that Buhari messed up in his first tenure by antagonizing Igbos, things won't have been so bad. Anyways, he is trying to make amends before leaving office. Sentiments aside, he appears to have done more for Igbos than even Jonathan we gave massive support yet nothing to show for it. |

This small boy has come again, saying trash up and down. I just dey pity you because dey go just carry you and you will disappear without trace. Imo State alone is more populous than the entire ijaws in Nigeria and that's a fact you can't wish away. Imagine a tiny minority group always making noise. Even in the SS, Ibibio and Anioma are more populous than you ijaws. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Igboid: When you stoop so low to attack someone that should be mates with your child, you will only end up insulting yourself! It doesn't show class! I was embarrassed when I saw some Igbos joining issues with these people, and it is so degrading! Believe me, we Igbos are probably the only group that is standing against the hegemonic domination of Nigeria by certain people using Islam as their rallying call. If we play our cards well, all these small tribes ought to be ones seeking to attach to us since they already know they're too small to resist the forces coming against them. So we should remain focused and diplomatic. A dog that goes after every bone thrown at it will never get to its destination. As for the Igede, we have no issues with them and neither do we have any with the Idoma. The argument is between them and we should be spectators in this. They are free to be whatever they chose to be. It is non of our business! 5 Likes |

Travel / Re: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by Biafrarep(m): 9:47am On Nov 27, 2021 |
Deadams: That's why we keep saying that this country is under a curse! Why should something as basic as applying for international passport be such a complex problem? To collect ordinary passport is now rocket science!!! They make life a living hell for everyone out of sheer wickedness! The government and its employees will rather horde the passports and watch people suffer than releasing it without hassle because they hope to profit from their sufferings! The same irresponsibility and wickedness is applicable in every damn sector! These bastards will rather embezzle billions of naira meant for the dirt poor and stash it in pits or foreign accounts yet will be happy seeing same poor people starving and suffering malnutrition! But they forget we all will die someday! Many poorer countries have been able to develop because they have love for humanity. They use the little they have and ensure that roads are well paved, schools built to standard, amenities provided and made accessible but here these wicked souls will rather pocket the money and watch people suffering and dying needlessly due to road accidents or collapsed buildings because they used substandard materials to cut corners! Every one of these bastards believe in primitive accumulation of illgotten wealth at the expense of the majority! I spit on everyone making life miserable for others because they want to profit from their miseries! I curse anyone who frustrates others, because they want to steal from what is meant for others. You will die in road accident because of that road you refused to fix out of sick greed! You will die under the rubble of the collapse building you used substandard materials to build! May God's wrat visit you all for your wickedness! May karma pay you back in your own coins! May the universe bring sorrows to you from every corner, north, south, east and west! 6 Likes |

King44: Well, you're actually living very close to your workplace. Some people are already spending over 1000 naira daily on transportation. Two days ago, I took my 12.5 kg cylinder to refill but ended up refilling 10kg at 7500 and also fueled my car at 2500 at the same fuel station making a total of 10,000 naira spent at the spot just like that! Yet some people think they can still double the prices when income hasn't increased? |

DuBLINGreenb: Thumbs up! You really have the spirit of descernment to think deeply. Unfortunately, many Nigerians are too gullible to question criminal tendencies of this government. However, these guys in government are playing with fire. Most Nigerians are already at their wits end, frustrated and hopeless. Even well employed people that are supposedly earning good salary are finding it difficult to get by, then imagine the fate of the masses that are either unemployed or underemployed. How many people can afford to fill their gas, fuel their car, fuel their generator, buy food stuffs, pay rent, pay school fees etc.? Yet the government still believes it can more than double the fuel price again without dire consequences? The Endsars nationwide protests will be a child's play compared to the sort of anarchy that will envelope this country next year if they go ahead with this plan. This time around, even Northerners will join hands because they're even more at the receiving end with near absolute poverty rates! There was a prediction years ago from some foreign agency that a mass revolution will begin in Nigeria that will make headlines accross the globe. Maybe the subsidy removal is what is going to trigger it. |
Properties / Re: Is It Advisable To Buy Land At Omagwa In Port Harcourt? by Biafrarep(m): 1:07pm On Nov 25, 2021 |
GeorgeDominic: Haha, I swear you know very little about lands. I'm an estate agent for years and I can tell you that buying lands in Nigeria now is one of the easiest ways to make good money! Smart people are no longer keeping money in banks, at least not in naira. Again, treasury bills that used to be one of the best portfolio investments with awesome interest rates has gone to the dogs. So, buying lands is the only option left for those with liquid cash to hedge their funds against inflation! I don't know about Northern Nigeria or parts of SW, but you will definitely smile to the banks if you buy lands anywhere in the East, most parts of SS and Lagos! The only thing you have to be very careful about is fraud. With the dire economic situation in Nigeria now, desperate folks are now in the habit of selling and reselling lands to different buyers, especially in places like Lagos, P.H etc. So, how do you avoid stories that touch? Make sure you're buying with a local agent and lawyer that understand the community very well. These people will definitely know the persons to ask questions about the legitimacy of such lands. You can't buy a land in these places I mentioned without it appreciating within just 6 months! I have bought personal lands I later sold in just 1 year and it appreciated by 100%! Remember that more demand leads to increase in prices and the demand for lands now due to inflationary pressure is high. The few money bags with liquid cash are buying up lands because they don't want their money to lose value in banks. 1 Like |

This is serious, but I'm not surprised they're being seen as nuisance by the women of Ohafia. When you recruit "repented" Boko Haram members into your army and use them to terrorize the same people they ought to protect, this would be the outcome. |

Hemisphere: In terms of government workers and private employees, Abia State is still far ahead of Yobe! Abia State has far more number of schools than Yobe which will translate to more teachers employed by state government. Now, coming to private sector, there is absolutely no comparison whatsoever. Let's consider this, bank deposits in Abia State was 243.932 billion naira while that of Yobe State during same period is 23.3 billion naira! So, in the light of all these, how do you explain that same Yobe will now generate 9 billion as VAT while Abia generates 2 billion? |
Politics / Re: Correct Measurements Of Southeast Region And Oyo State(photos) by Biafrarep(m): 5:03pm On Nov 24, 2021 |
post=107898029: This data here is the real indicator of economic growth! Beyond the fancy flyovers, VAT and IGR, bank deposits actually shows the liquidity of the states and economic vibrancy. Between 2010 and 2015, all SE states, particularly Anambra, Enugu, Imo and Abia experienced a boom in deposits (which can be termed disposable income kept in banks). Other major states like Kano, Kaduna etc only experienced marginal increases. I bet you, the current deposits for 2020 among states will even be more startling. Please can you provide the latest one? |

FYI, Peter Odili is from Ndoni (this Igbo clan has boundaries with Ogbaru in Anambra state). His wife, Mary Odili is from a royal family in Mbaise, Imo State. All the children has conc. Igbo names and most of their friends are Igbos from SE! Google about Ndoni and see how they celebrate their Igbo identity or you think Odili is from Ikwerre? Common sense should have told you that such closenit Igbo family will definitely identify with their roots, that's natural. Have you also checked their children and where they all married from? Foreign Affairs / Re: France, Turkey Urge Citizens To Leave Ethiopia Without Delay by Biafrarep(m): 9:53am On Nov 24, 2021 |
Ethiopia and Nigeria are among Africa's most populous nations, complete with mass poverty, diverse religions and ethnicities. Believe it or not, Nigeria is also going to face cataclysmic upheavals that would be worse than whatever Ethiopia or any African country has experienced. It has started in the North, is gradually creeping into the East and would eventually envelope the rest of the country. The finances of the country is already in tatters, poverty is spiking, insecurity and hopelessness has pervaded everywhere now yet the government is worsening it all with insensitive policies that are impoverishing the people more. Maybe, there is nothing else they can do but believe me, if we continue at this pace and they eventually remove the so-called subsidy by next year, there is going to be uncontrollable anarchy. I have not really been enthusiastic about traveling to stay abroad, but I'm now desperate to leave this country ASAP. Then I will rent a place for my immediate family in Ghana. Just like Ethiopia, Nigeria is gone too. From middle of 2022 and 2023 is going to be catastrophic for Nigeria, and general elections may not even hold. What makes it the more scary is that Western powers will equally evacuate their citizens and watch us annihilate ourselves |
Travel / Re: Pictures On Nigeria History That Will Take Your Breath Away. SEE!! by Biafrarep(m): 8:42am On Nov 24, 2021 |
Wow, nostalgic pictures! These pictures reinforces the believe that Nigeria has continued to retrogress. And based on the Law of Uniformitarianism i.e. the past is key to the future, it becomes apparent that things will only continue to retrogress or at best remain stagnated. Is that the future we all want? Sometimes I wish that Nigeria will get its acts together and truly become great for the sake of Black man and Africa, but from the look of things, such will never happen, instead we are now a disgrace. Shame!! |

Kaduna/Abuja highways and railways too are now facing daily attacks! Give it more months and they will move into Abuja fully. I will rather live in Afghanistan or Yemen than Northern Nigeria right now, and I'm not joking. Even if you like, pay me 2 million naira per month to live in the North, I will reject the offer without thinking twice!! BafanaBafana: I don't know why you guys like decieving yourselves. When you talk like this, it means your education is a total waste of resources. What has dominating others or cheating got to do with this ridiculous propaganda your government is pushing? Of course, Igbos will always dominate you if there is a level playing field and that's why your government had to bring in quota system and federal character which has proven to be a scam too just like everything else in Nigeria. When it comes to educational enrollment, you're given zero benchmark while Igbos are given 70% cut off benchmark but when it comes to appointment to man strategic sectors, the dull ones that had zero admission benchmark will be recruited while the bright ones are shunned due to tribalism! Even in 1966 you're talking about, the bigot called Ahmadu Bello came on national television to announce to the world that Igbos (a supposed compatriots) will not be allowed to take up positions in the Northern region, and that even if the Northerners are not educated or competent enough to man such positions, that he will employ foreigners! Imagine the horrible things the fool said. Is that not the height of hate and bigotry? Sane Nigerian soldiers including many tribes decided that only a coup could save Nigeria from the destructive tendencies of Ahmadu Bello and his likes. The coup plotters even hoped to hand over to Awolowo! Go read your history and cure your ignorance!! |

Amarabae: What on earth will he be looking for in Uzbekistan of all places? I haven't been there but I can give you a clue of how you can measure their economic viability: It' was part of the former Soviet Union but is far low on the pecking order of countries that emerged from it. Ukraine, Russia etc are far better! It's a landlocked country in the middle of nowhere! It's an extremely cold country! Common, there are lots of other countries he can venture into with same resources. That's the same mistake some Nigerians who travel to India only to end up selling drugs or getting involved in other crimes. 9 Likes |
