Continue fooling yourself, you don't stay in Aba yet you know how market market men and women do their transaction in Aba market.

Talking about being open-minded, if truly some unscrupulous traders or union members are involved in shady deals in a market somewhere in Aba, is nairaland the right place to report to? Can't you see you don't have sense?

Abia State is in a deplorable state... I look forward to IPOB standing at that election booth and insisting no vote buying and ensuring the votes count. If we can't get our region working, the central government will do little to help us.

Back to the issue at hand... Enter your big market, where Agro products from north lands, make enquiries from the retailers about what happens the moment trucks land.

Stop talking nonsense, do I look like IPOB or did I tell you I'm living in Aba with you?

So, you think there are no Yorubas living in Aba who can speak fluent Igbo?

Where exactly is government college located in Aba as you claim as you claimed in your epistle?

Lekwa nwa bingo, no sensible Igbo man will come to a stupid thread to condemn Igbos, only senseless fool or afonja living in Aba will do that.

[s]You lie not, our people are greedy... I be Igbo man.
The high cost of commodity down here is our doing....The business men here, make it hard.
Agro products brought to east are highjacked by our so called brothers and union market people (middle men); they tell the hausa man to raise the price and give them high commission.

Any Igbo person who defends this wrongdoing doesn't mean well for the next generation....

This reminds me of one day I was coming back from work...on the route I used to ply for #50, I got to the junction only to find four persons there and one Keke guy, the foolish keke guy left his business of the day to enforce #100 even when his fellow tricycle people were willing to take #50. This guy kept preventing them and only agreed people who complied with the #100 new fare.

I arrived with a lady, she hopped into one of the keke while beckoning on me to come in; I told her I wasn't willing to pay the new fare. She must have thought I was a miser. I stood with the guys there while telling them we are kings and should enforce price and not the other way round. Consumers are kings and should control price. The high cost of things is because some persons think they have the purchasing power so others should go and die.

One thing I kept thinking was... So a family that has five children going to federal government college nearby would have to pay #1000 fare daily for a short distance. Long story short, another keke came by willing to take us for #50 while the mumu guy came to take the key from ignition, I challenged him, also the owner of the keke stood up against him, that he can't dictate for him how much to collect...that was how we were lifted from there.[/s]

Your pple are GREEDY rest.

Ur pple are also hiking food prices and causing pple to blame Buhari and APC. Why should a bag of beans be sold for 20naira and when u take it down there u sell for 150. Why is it so? Why has greed so beclouded your pple? nonsense

Dumb illiterate almajiri, if only you attended school instead of carrying begging plates and scavenging around, you would have known about things like middle men, transportation costs, warehousing and the rest.

If a bag of beans is sold for 20 naira in Sokoto and buyers transport it to P.H, settle your corrupt police and custom that mount roadblock every one kilometer, pay for warehouse before selling to the retailer who then sells to the end user, don't you know that all those costs would have been added that made the beans to cost 150 naira in P.H?

In that same P.H, the average beans seller lives in a good house and sells in a standard shop (which would be paid for), unlike your fellow almajiris that sleep in inhuman shacks and push barrow about because you don't want to live like normal human beings and pay rent!

Igbos are greedy and sell things expensively according to you hateful bigots, yet they control wholesale and retail trade accross Nigeria? What stopped you guys from taking advantage of the so-called Igbo "greed" to establish your own businesses and sell cheaper?

The first responsibility of any national government is to protect lives and integrity of the country. Nigeria has failed woefully on that aspect, people are dying all over the North from both internal and external forces while nothing is done to protect them.

No one is safe anymore, while bandits and terrorists are currently carving out territories in the NW and NE respectively, and installing Islamic rulers, foreign rebel forces are also invading from Cameroon to massacre and burn down villages.

Sometimes, I just wonder why some people will see how ungovernable Nigeria has become and yet be desperate in trying to rule it.

[s]Top 9 Richest Tribes in Africa
1. Yoruba
The Yoruba tribe is found mainly in South-Western Nigeria and Southern Benin but the highest population is in Nigeria. This is undoubtedly one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa with an estimated population of 35 million people.

They are richest tribes in Nigeria. They make up 20% of the population in Nigeria and due to the fact that they accepted western education earlier, more professionals come from this tribe than any other tribe in Nigeria. They make up the bulk majority of lawyers, doctors as well as academia throughout the country. They have most of the most expensive properties in Nigeria including banana island, ikoyi and lekki.

2. Zulu
The Zulu tribe is one of the richest tribes in Africa known worldwide. They speak the isiZulu language and are mostly found in South Africa and other countries like Zambia, Zimbabwe, etc.

Their culture is elegant and is known for their festivals. This tribe is estimated to have a population of 11 million people.

3. Pedi
The Pedi tribe originated from South Africa and they speak the Sotho language; there are more than 7 million people speaking this language in South Africa.

The highest populations of this tribe were involved in herding and farming but at a time, many people migrated to cities in search of work. Currently, they are one of the richest tribes on the continent.

4. Hausa and Fulani
These tribes are the most successful in politics due to large population in Nigeria. This tribe is the most populated in Nigeria and they are also found in some West African countries.

The people are mostly into agriculture and trading and are ranked among one of the richest tribes on the continent. The richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote is from this tribe.

5. Suri
The Suri tribe is one of the richest in Africa. They speak the Surma language and are mainly found on highlands and countries like Sudan and Ethiopa. They practice a weird culture whereby they can only marry within their tribe.

6. Igbo
They are one of the tribes in Nigeria. They are mainly into business; they are really obsessed with making money because they are regarded as less than nothing if they are poor. This led many of them into committing crimes and push drugs, however, some of them still deal in a legitimate business.

7. El Molo
This is one of the richest tribes in the continent despite the fact that it is the smallest tribe in Kenya. They speak the Maa language.

The people are into fishing and hunting, one of their sources of food is the hippopotamus killed in Turkana Lake.

8. Xhosa
The people of the Xhosa tribe are found all across the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa and the literally speak with click sounds. This tribe is also one of the richest in Africa.

9. Oromo Tribe
The Oromo tribe is the most popular in Ethiopa and they make up 40% of the country’s population. They speak Oromo language and practice the Waaqa traditional religion.[/s]

Stop pulling rubbish from your putrid smelling ass and trying to pass it off as facts.

Stop making your education to appear like waste of resources, because all these fantasies can only decieve gullible people.

Yorubas are richest in Africa because Lagos is geographically in SW?

Same education Igbos have long overtaken you is what you're claiming to be dominant? Wake up dude, this is 2021 and not 1920!

It's in the best interest of Opobo people to identify with their Igbo brothers than any other group. By pitching with Igbos, they're assured stability, progress and massive development going forward unlike those that would only bring instability and violence.

Any Igbo group that is closest to the Atlantic ocean is assured of rapid development because they will host any major port that will serve Igbo nation/Biafra, so they will be to us what Lagos is to Yorubas.

So, I don't think they will want to throw such great potentials away.

Not a bad idea at all, but using a turbaned picture of Orji Kalu for posters in the East is quite funny. I thought politics is local, use what will be appealing to the majority of the local population.

A turbaned picture would be perfect for Abuja and other states in the North while Ishi Agu atire with a matching red cap would be apt for East.

Politics / 2023: Igbo Presidency Or Biafra? by Biafrarep(m): 9:00am On Nov 16, 2021
There is a new school of thought, albeit championed by dishonest and degenerate people that Igbos shouldn't be allowed to rule Nigeria because their people are agitating for Biafra. This is not just a very lame excuse but also a wicked ploy by some selfish and wicked politicians who are hell-bent on foisting their personal ambitions on all Nigerians. They don't mind if such ambitions ends up destroying Nigeria in the long run provided they achieve their immediate gratification.

You didn't deny Fulanis presidency because of herdsmen killings. You didn't deny SS because of bunkering and militancy. But you want to deny Igbos presidency because some Igbos who are fed up with Nigeria want out. Anyways, it's up to them, this is probably their last chance to decide if truly they want Igbos to share a country with them.

Do Igbos have any reason to feel marginalized? The answer is a resounding YES! A civil war that ended in 1970 has continued to be used as excuse to punish Igbo generations till date.

Igbos have billions of dollars worth of assets all over of Nigeria and for them to put that aside to fight agitate for break up shows the extent they've been frustrated in Nigeria.

Black people naturally tend to be unreasonable when it matters most, and those in Nigeria are worse off. They believe more in brute force when intelligence and proactiveness could save them.

Denying Igbos the presidency will give IPOB the critical mass they need to achieve Biafra, underrate them at your own peril. Igbo elites are the ones sabotaging the push for Biafra because they feel that with patience, Igbos can be fully reintegrated in Nigeria. So, they try to reign in the younger generation of Igbos who have given up on Nigeria.

Now, 2023 is the litmus test. It is going to be a make or break year in the annals of Nigeria. This country is already too fragmented and weak to withstand a collective push by Igbos for Biafra and I believe that denying Igbos again in 2023 will be a vote for Biafra by all Nigerians.

Personally, my instincts yearn for Biafra while another voice tells me that Nigeria can still be saved. However, 2023 will 100% convince me. I also believe my sentiments are shared by majority of Igbos.

If you love Nigeria, you must support Igbo presidency now!

The guy just told you the truth and you started insulting him. Any sane person that has been to both places will tell you same. The truth is better bro.

You claim kaduna depends on what government?

Now let me tell you how useless IMO state is. kaduna gets an FAAC of about 124bn while IMO gets an FAAC of about 111bn.

Kaduna generates an IGR of more than 52bn while IMO generates and IGR of about 17bn (2020)

Kaduna IGR to FAAC ratio is 40.9℅ while that of IMO is an embarrassing 15.3 %.

Kaduna IGR is expected to reach 70bn by 2022 which will be about 60% to FAAC ratio, this means it will be capable of relaying on itself.

Now what about your IMO state, will it be able to pay salaries without FAAC? Lol let me guess! NO!

To be honest I respect IMO when it comes to hotels and bars but While we a building industrial parks, tech valleys and steel plants, you are busy hyping hotel buildings.

Kaduna is in the league of Rivers, Delta, Kano and Ogun state at the moment, but IMO state is still in the leagues of kastina our junior brother.

All those roads you are posting, I have been seeing them since 2014-2015 during rocahs era, show me what they look like today.

WAWA

It is actually Kaduna that is very useless, not Imo State that is giving you ungrateful lots oil and gas money.

Yes, Kaduna have depended on government since ages yet it has remained stagnated just like most of the region due to insecurity, mass Illiteracy and mass poverty.

Otondo, you're asking how Kaduna depends on government yet a refinery was built in an arid area without a drop of crude oil and has to depend on fields thousands of KM away!

Almost all military assets were built in Kaduna!

Look at that CBN building, is there any other branch in Nigeria that built that way?

What about other federal government assets built there too, can you name a single one built by your federal government in Owerri?

You're indeed a dunce, very typical of you almajiris.

FYI, Imo State currently has the only functional petroleum refinery in Nigeria! While the White elephant project the military built in Kaduna will soon be sold as scrab grin

Investors are currently building one of the biggest gas plants in Imo State currently!

So, aside our beautiful hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs, other things are happening in Imo State.

How Industrialized is Dubai? Yet they're richer than those that are far more industrialized them. Stop thinking myopically and try to broaden your horizon!

The set of people supporting the Biafra Agitation currently are incapable of achieving it..
The secessionist agenda is DOA looking at the groups and mental capacity of the individuals pursuing it...

Best to sit still in Nigeria and try to get the best out of it, pending when everyone is ready and equipped on all front.

It is up to supporters of "one Nigeria" to seriously campaign for Igbo presidency. Believe me, that's the only way to take the sail out of the secessionist momentum. If you say it is DOA, then you're lying to yourself because the agitators have really gone far and they're very determined. Even your government have lost the initiative on how to reign them in. Already, frustration is gradually creeping in among Northerners about the whole situation.

So, the only viable way to stem it, is by stopping Igbo marginalization and the first step is by allowing an Igbo man to rule in 2023. Anything contrary will spell doom to Nigeria's continued existence as one nation. By 2023, if Igbos are denied again, believe me, there won't be any excuse again and that will be playing into their hands full time because they would achieve a critical mass needed to achieve Biafra.
