I have this soft spot for the Nigerian Navy.

This is because my father served with them. I grew up in their barracks. I attended their schools from nursery till secondary.
80% of my friends are serving with them.

Long live the Nigerian Navy.

Onward together.
Nigerian navy won't live long (though it may partially live long) if Biafra breaks away.

Terrible scenes. Better to jump to your possible death than be roasted alive by fire.
Very true .I remember i saw people jump off 80th to 110th floors of World Trade Center when the fire of the jet fuel made it like 800 degrees hot.

Immediate death on impact is better than being roasted by fire.
Building collapses are frequent in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, where regulations are poorly enforced and construction materials are often substandard.

What a very sad incident!!

God save our darling country.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hsY-qxNF7U
So if its frequent for collapse to occur why don't Nigerian authorities enforce the regulations more tightly?

That's not shocking. Most of the world is "poor," based on government and common definitions, and it's by design.
That's very true ,and i sadly came to know that when i read this report last year...

Edit,it says "if you have a net worth of just $93,170 U.S. it is enough to make you richer than 90 percent of people worldwide".

Most wise people prefer to save their moneys in assets such as lands and landed properties, stocks, mutual funds, bonds, profit yielding businesses etc instead of bank accounts.
Stocks ,mutual funds and bonds can also drastically fall in value ,do you know that?

It's a shame to even say 99.4% of your citizens dont have upto $1,000. How then are you fighting corruption, insecurity, out of school children and vote buying?

The quickest and effective way out is to introduce the mortgage system to the middle and lower class.
No its not a shame (but in reality it is) when you consider the per capita income of all Nigerians is just 2400 per year.

anayolity:
Everyone has a principle that guides them in life , some stick to it the entire time while others might break it, learn their lessons and become better at what they believe in.

Over the years one of the Principles that has kept me from betrayal is "Anyone who double crosses his friend/girlfriend debases himself and automatically reduces his lifespan"

Let's learn from yours .

Please feel free to share.
My principle in life has always been "anyone and everyone can betray you " and i've always been proven right 100% so far. Thus i never completely trust everyone even the "good ones".

I just like the guy, I even miss him. I just got tired of western politicians' boring speeches, where they try not to offend anyone n rarely take sides. Trump doesn't care who is offended.

I hate his immigration policy tho cos it affected me in some way.

Take for example, Trump was strongly against the lockdown from the very beginning, d media came for his head. Has Corona stopped spreading in America now? There was zero lockdown in Nigeria so Nigerians won't understand the mental damage d lockdown is still having on people's me talk health. Their economy was breaking new records when that guy was around.
Gosh , you're truly delusional .

One brainless person will say I love him but my family won't allow me to marry him. If you truly love the person you got to make hard choice.
This is as hard as an Indian an Emirati Arab marrying a black African where social norms and pressure tells them their partner to be is "lesser human"
