They were paying folks to show up for the event; what a sad scene! |
@Tayo-D: Since you know this chick so well, could you please tell us why she attended 6 colleges in 6 years? You can also go ahead and bless us by listing the name of the colleges and her GPA. |
@Tayo-D: I've only asked you a simple question. Why are you being so naughty? |
I know who I am and what I stand for. You think you do, but sorry, you don't! Again, Why do you hate |
@Tayo-D: It is obvious to all that you truly do not know or feel this chick at-all, but you hate No need to continue with the baseless back and forth; why not let us do this again toward the end of November 2008? I'm sure that things will be more clearer at this time. |
@Tayo-D: Why do you hate |
LOL! You're one funny joker. With time, we shall all see. |
Your first statement is a lie. She's scheduled for a TV interview next week. In any case, have you asked why Obama avoided Foxnews like a plague and never accepted Hannity's invitation for a no-holds-barred interview? The republicans have only approved this TV interview because it was becoming too obvious that Palin is being shielded from the media. FYI: Obama has been to the View show, Keith Obermannt show, Larry King Show, David letterman show, Bill O'Rielly (Foxnews), 60 minutes, and many many more. Sean Hannity show is a show that is designed for mindless kids; therefore, this ignoramus show doesn't count. |
@Tayo-D How could you compare Palin (an unknown entity, who is currently being shielded from being interviewed) to Obama ( a man who has shown the world in many ways his ability to lead and unite)? Apart from what the republican clowns are busy feeding you, could you please identify one or two incredible accomplishment or anything about this chick (Palin)? You guys should please stop it already.FYI: Check my record; you wouldn't go too far to realize that I do not stop, I usually go for the kill. There is absolutely no turning back for me till this chick and Papa Ajasco fall. |
The last thing Americans need at this point is to place another bunch of clueless clowns into the white house; I think 8 years of rubbish is more than enough. Again, the chick attended 6 colleges in 6 years. |
The wind will soon blow and I assure you that the chicken smelly ass will be exposed |
@Tayo-D: in addition to answering davidylan's question, why not bless us all by also answering my questions? Message for folks that think 99% of blacks are only supporting Obama because the dude is black, I have couple of questions for you. What happened to the same blacks: 1. When Jessie Jackson ran for presidential election in 1984, and did not get this type of overwhelming support from blacks that Obama is currently commanding? 2. When Al Shapton also ran in 2004, and did not even get 2% black votes? |
Of course Obama has to issue that disclaimer. Its the natural thing to do if you don't want the Republican press to go setup camp on your family in Africa. This is not an offer of goodwill in respect of Palin's family but more a calculation at self-preservation.I'm sorry, this is a wrong answer. FYI:The republican press has tried everything in the book to bring this man (Obama) down, but failed. They even went as far as Kenya to interview Obama's brother and did not get anything. Obama is a smart man, he has already revealed all his dark sides in his book and there is nothing else for them (republicans) to talk about. Now, this is the reason why Obama has issued such a "disclaimer": The selection of Palin was a trap; the Republican made this selection because: 1. Palin is a woman (only to attract the ignorant women voters) 2. Palin has too many baggage (and they want folks to go there) 3. Abusing Palin will only win the heart of the Hillary supporters (the same scenario that occured during the primary election between Obama and Hillary). 4. Palin is a decoy that is intentionally setup to distract and take pressure off Papa Ajasco (McCain). (Have you noticed that ever since this chick has been selected, no-one is talking about Papa Ajasco or the real issues or solution to restore the stamina of this country?) Hence, the best thing for Obama to do was to immediately show his sincere respect for Palin's family troubles and refocus the attention of the voters back to the Albino Rat (McCain) and the real issue. And I think this agenda will be accomplished successfully this week. |
Black folks voted for many years for White people because they felt these folks were qualified and competent enough to carry this nation toward the right path. Now, what is wrong with blacks voting for another incredible candidate? After, witnessing all these childish and desperate tricks, something serious is simply wrong with you if you still think McCain is the right person for this job. |
I honestly expected Romney to be picked as a veep because of his accomplishments and experience in economic-financial knowledge and management. In fact Romney was on the ticket till Papa Ajasco (John McCain) couldn't remember the total number of his houses all around the world. FYI: Romney also purchased a new mansion for $12m in July 2008; therefore, the republicans immediately realized that the combo of Papa Ajasco (who doesn't know how many houses he owns) and the spoilt brat (Romney), who also owns a number of properties all over the world wouldn't speak well of the republican party. Their intention is to trick Americans into false assumptions that Papa Ajasco (McCain) is an average presidential candidate who is able to directly relate to what Americans are currently going through. So, picking this chick (Palin), (who knows nothing about being VP, who had only met McCain once for about 15 minutes back in Feb 2008, prior to the selection, who attended 6 colleges in 6 years, who has a husband that has nothing in common with the republicans etc) suppose to balance things. This is cusp of desperation proving McCain's judgment is questionableThe selection has absolutely come across as a desperation move, a Hail Mary, as Mondale's choice of Ferraro did in 1984. I can assure you that this noise will only last for sometime. It will definitely backfire at the right time; as we all know, Palin is no Hillary; the women voters will wake up as soon as Hillary herself comes out swinging. It is believed in many circles that it was the success of Obama’s convention that was a factor that forced McCain’s hand in selecting Sarah Palin as his running mate; a decision that may prove disastrous. You're absolutely on point. They changed their initial selection to Palin 2 days after the beginning of the DNC; their trick is to disable the jubilation and the success of the DNC. The triumph of the convention (DNC) was absolutely too much for them (republicans) to handle, they clearly did (do) not have any material to match such a successful outcome. The best they could come up with was to trick the fools. 2. When Al Shapton also ran in 2004, and did not even get 2% black votes. I think blacks support for Obama is much more bigger than just the color of his skin; I honestly feel that it is absolutely foolish and ignorant for anyone to think otherwise. By any chance, could it be because the man (Obama) is highly qualified, fully competent and completely blessed with pure wisdom? |
@ Professor ferdiii: I have over 3600 items posted on this forum, why don't you take your time and go through all of them to search for more grammatical errors, I'm pretty sure that you will find plenty more. Back to the topic: Obama is one of the brightest politicians around today, and I think he should have been more prudent choosing the right method to get his message across; using Nigeria or 419 or Nigerian internet scam letters was absolutely unnecessary. I still support the dude with all my heart, but it is also very important for Nigerians to pay attention and make necessary adjustment to the way we compose ourselves all around the world. A statement (Obama's statement on Nigerian Scam Letters) like this could affect every one of us for many many years to come ( of course, folks with tiny mind will not see things this way). |
Clinton set to strike McCain, not Palin Glenn Thrush Hillary Rodham Clinton has no intention of becoming a Sarah Palin attack dog — but has no qualms going after John McCain, people close to the former first lady say. “She’s not the answer when it comes to winning conservative women — she never was — and we’re not going to be anybody’s attack dog against Sarah Palin,” said a Clinton insider. “To be fair to Obama’s people, they haven’t asked us to do that.” Slamming Palin to win back women already hostile to Obama is pointless, the insider said, because Clinton’s most loyal base is working-class voters, not women in particular. “Attacking Palin is checkers, attacking McCain on the economy is chess.” Clinton will continue to yoke McCain and Palin to President Bush on pocketbook issues. But sources say that Clinton, who supports abortion rights, isn’t likely to criticize the Alaska governor for her anti-abortion stance. She may, however, question Palin’s record on equal-pay issues. The Obama campaign, alarmed by Palin’s instant popularity, has given Clinton’s staff a proposed fall campaign schedule in economically distressed battleground states — including Ohio and Pennsylvania — where she did well during the primaries, according to people familiar with the situation. The former first lady, who is due to appear at an Obama event in Florida on Monday, hasn’t gotten back to them yet. When she does, she’s likely to add a few stops of her own — fundraisers, including at least one in Texas to help her repay more than $20 million in debt incurred during the primary. “They probably don’t want her in Texas, but, hey, that’s where the money is, so that’s where she’s going to go,” said a source familiar with travel planning. http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080905/pl_politico/13193 |
Confirmed by Hillary Clinton: The Dems will not be focusing on Palin; their undivided attention will be purely on McCain and his unrealistic policies. The trap that was strategically setup for the Dems will not catch anybody, but the albino rat (McCain) himself. |
Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is "God's task." She's even admitted she hasn't thought about the war much—just last year she was quoted saying, "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq." 1, 2 Palin has actively sought the support of the fringe Alaska Independence Party. Six months ago, Palin told members of the group—who advocate for a vote on secession from the union—to "keep up the good work" and "wished the party luck on what she called its 'inspiring convention.'" 3 Palin wants to teach creationism in public schools. She hasn't made clear whether she thinks evolution is a fact.4 Palin doesn't believe that humans contribute to global warming. Speaking about climate change, she said, "I'm not one though who would attribute it to being manmade." 5 Palin has close ties to Big Oil. Her inauguration was even sponsored by BP. 6 Palin is extremely anti-choice. She doesn't even support abortion in the case of rape or incest. 7 Palin opposes comprehensive sex-ed in public schools. She's said she will only support abstinence-only approaches. 8 As mayor, Palin tried to ban books from the library. Palin asked the library how she might go about banning books because some had inappropriate language in them—shocking the librarian, Mary Ellen Baker. According to Time, "news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor." 9 She DID support the Bridge to Nowhere (before she opposed it). Palin claimed that she said "thanks, but no thanks" to the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. But in 2006, Palin supported the project repeatedly, saying that Alaska should take advantage of earmarks "while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist." 10 The plain fact of the matter is that Sarah Palin did a bang-up job delivering a Karl Rove-style political attack speech last night. That makes her a skilled politician but it doesn't make her views any more palatable for voters. Americans don't really want another far-right, anti-science ideologue in the White House. Smartness is nothing but a state of the mindYou could be smart and at the same time have a backward state of mind; get it right! Good luck, my man! |
I am one of those who don't believe in the hype around autism. If a child is not very smart, it's alright for them to be involved in other things. I never heard of autism till I left Nigeria. My man, it is obvious that you know nothing about "autism"; and this is the main reason for us not to just open our mouth carelessly without fully understanding the content of the subject. Please, get yourself more familiar with autism, and I hope you will never experience a direct effect of "autism" in any way. FYI: "Autism" has very little to do with being smart and has a lot to do with one's state of mind. One love and much respect for all people that have dealt or currently dealing with "autism". There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel; keep hope alive. |
Like she said, the difference between a hockey mom and a pit-bull is "lipstick".Don't buy that baseless statement; it is all politics talk. So far, she hasn't stated anything from her own mind (all these statements you're crying about were written for her by G-dumb Bush's writer) For Christ sake, this chick was a mayor (of about 7,000 population) for few years; then, after kissing few ass she became the governor. Please, keep in mind that she is the governor of Alaska, not New York. Have you been to Alaska before? My friend, I'm sorry to inform you that she has only been tested at college level. Just wait and see; the real test is ahead of us. She is no Hillary; she will break down in few weeks. |
@dudu-bobo: I bet you that if your child or any of your family members was born with "autism" you wouldn't think this matter was funny? I do no think that there is anything wrong with watching what we say by thinking broadly before posting rubbish; you just never know who is out there being affected by your careless statement. |
I still see the selection of this chick as a trap strategically setup for Dems and a decoy to create distration and confusion for fools. Republican mentality: Instead of focusing on the Obama and the old dude; folks will be wasting time trying to figure out why this chick was picked; this strategy is implemented to take pressure off McCain. The more attention we pay this unqualified chick the brighter and more attractive the old man (John McCain) looks to the fools. I have confidence that with time, the fools will wake up! |
It is simply foolish to continue to waste time on this chick; even the Republicans have realized their mistake. It is clear that this lady is absolutely not the right choice. President and VP spots are not for everybody and that doesn't mean the unqualified ones are stupid; these positions require more than just a fancy smile, long legs, hockey stick and bunch of kids. I still have confidence that this chick would break down in few weeks. |
Bla b la bla b la bla; absolutely lack of material! |
Good man and a good answer. I will come and check you out in few years to see if you're a man of your word or just another politician wanna be. |
@poster: Again, grow up and get a life! |
Only retarded folks change college every year, I want to see her GPA |
Look my man, Just because Oyinbo ask you a question doesn't mean you have to jump. The man congratulated few folks and then answered the question. I think you should go ahead and listen to the interview once again. This time around, try to pay attention instead of looking to judge him (Nigerian retarded mentality). Question: Why are we so quick to judge one another negatively? |
This chick attended 6 different colleges in 6 years. I'm sorry, Americans deserve a lot better than this! Sarah Palin can kiss my brown ass. |
@poster: What exactly are you talking about? Have you been on a live TV in another country (United States of America for that matter) before? What exactly do you expect this dude to say? Hey, there is no such thing as perfect human being; I think this dude gave his best. FYI: well informed folks have complete respect for other people's accent. @Poster: Get a life! |
