@texazzpete: 1st, have you taken your medication? OK. What exactly do you know about this new development before wasting my time? FYI: So far only two groups (one from Nigeria and the other one from South Africa) are seriously intending to purchase this football team. So, who do you think this man (John Hall) is referring to? The Australians or the Italians? I do not care about who bought the Liverpool, or Manchester City. It is simply foolish for one to categorize all foreign investors into the same bucket, just because of couple of bad outcomes. It is also amusing to me that this man (John Hall) did not come out to make the same statement when Liverpool or Manchester city football team was up for sale (I guess, Africans were not the dominating investors during this sale). But all of a sudden, his beloved team (Newcastle United) is about to be owned by "AFRICANS" and here comes the old man preaching wisdom. Give me a freaking break! |
I've had my fair share of bad experiences with Black Americans, but also with Whites, Chinese, Jamaicans and fellow Africans. Why should I let my view of a group of people be colored by the action of a few?I'm with you. Many today find it difficult to prosper because it bothers them to see others fly high. They usually go out of their way to find something wrong with others. They judge everybody else except themselves. Freaking Blockheads! |
The dumbo (Sarah Palin) reminds me of a confused Flight attendant. Too dull to realize that she is being pimped. Absolutely a good comic pair (Palin and McCain) "Pinky and the Dumb" |
The problem with Kobojunkie and Tayo-D is a common one: they've allowed their bitter experiences with one or two Black Americans to eternally blur their perception of Black Americans, including Obama. This is what happens when you live or you've lived in a very bad black American neighborhood in America. I say, get over it or move back to Nigeria; no be by force. |
This is sadly true. Why would Nigerians and South Africans buy Newcastle United. What must happen is that the Nigerian consortium must buy Enyimba FC and invest in it or sponsor the League. The same goes for the South African businessman, they must plough their money into the development of football in South Africa.Absolutely, a big slap In The Face For all Africans. @Mpele: It is sad to witness the content of your subaltern state of mind. You need to go and double check the owners of all the European football teams and if you have more time, also check all the investors of all USA sport teams (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS). I can assure you that it wouldn't take you too long to realize that all these investors are from different countries. There is no such thing as discrimination when it comes to investors investing their money. These folks are allowed to invest their money as they desire. In-fact, many countries crave for investors to cross over to invest their money. Even in Nigeria today, we have Chinese, British, Indians, Americans, French and many more doing the same thing. The guy (FORMER Newcastle chairman Sir John Hall) needs to come out and immediately apologize for making such a despicable statement. How could you (John Hall) judge African's businessmen that low? If Newcastle United FootBall Club means so much to him, why not buy the team back? Looking at his ridiculous statement, I see: A frail racist who has no respect for Africa or Africans. Again @Mpele: You need to start looking at things a little bit more broadly. Just because African countries are not blessed with dedicated or great leaders doesn't mean things will remain this way forever. You need to look deeper into the future. Once you condone the cheap sale of Africa today, it might be very difficult to buy it back tomorrow. We must embrace Africa and Africans at all time, because nobody else will do it for us. And trust me, these folks (white) are not better. What is currently going on in United States today should be a case study for those of us who are so quick to step on African leaders and disable Africans all together. |
this is the woman kobojunkie and Tayo D are trying to convince us is better prepared than Obama/BidenThis is why one should never take some folks serious on this forum, it just doesn't worth it. These are 2 clowns that jumped out the first day this chick (Sarah Palin) was introduced, without even taking a time out to get to know her or identify her qualifications. It is sad that some folks just come here only to present rubbish and also to flex their defective ego over absolutely baseless reasons; I guess it makes them feel great about themselves. Bunch of |
Absolutely, there's room for improvement for Obama, and I'm sure that the improvement would be witnessed at the next debate. This is my view on the debate: Two entities (McCain and Obama) having a discussion on cars. One of the entities is a mechanic (who repairs cars), while the other one is a manufacturer (who designs and manufactures cars). During the debate and at the end of the debate, it became clearer to all that one of these 2 entities is a little bit more knowledgeable than the other one. Make your judgement! |
@McKren: I agree; why focus on something that doesn't count? Sarah Palin has no policy, she doesn't even understand 95% of John McCain's policy; so why bother to attack her? The concentration must be on Sen John McCain (AKA Papa Ajasco). Joe Biden must treat this chick kindly while he also openly and systematically feels bad for her. He should also be ready to help her out from time to time whenever she forgets things during the debate; this would also show folks (Hillary Clinton's supporters) that Dems are not after a lost soul (Sarah Palin). I think she will be very nervous and extremely uncomfortable; all because McCain's camp is being managed by bunch of high school drop-out. They've directly sucked away her self confidence by shielding her from the media and preventing her from doing interviews or answering simple questions from day one (this reminds me of bringing a sexy Nigerian chick home to your parents with a strict condition for her not to open her mouth at all time during the visit). At the moment this chick is not herself, in-fact she doesn't know who is Sarah Palin anymore and this will remain so for a very long time. This is what happens when you allow bunch of greedy red-necks to manage your camp. I have confidence that the worst of her is yet to be revealed by her damn self. |
The man finally woke up, he has finally realized that his family is more important. Folks in Nigeria were going to finish him; but he was rescued by 5 of his enemies. I guess, he has discovered his corner and he's currently embracing this newly discovered spot. You will not hear from him for awhile. He's not a saint. The man did 20 incredible things, but also did 80 dumb things; you do the equation. |
From Sen John McCain's Camp: It is simple, we could win this election if we simply pick a dumbo That's the name of the game; do whatever it takes to win, but it's very pity that this chick wasn't smart enough to say "Thanks But No Thanks" to McCain when it could have counted the most. It is clear to the world that McCain is only using Sarah Palin's stupidity to get the votes of the fools. The chick is clearly not ready and might not even be ready for the next 25 years. I've predicted from day 1 that she would break down with time. And I'm still confident that we haven't seen the worst as yet. |
I heard that McCain is trying to postpone the debate simply to either buy more time for Sara Palin to cram more foreign affairs points and complete her Principles of Microeconomics (ECO101) class or have the VP debate cancelled all together. FYI: Once Sen John McCain is able to successfully postpone tomorrow's presidential debate; it means the date Sara Palin and Joe Biden's debate would also be moved or cancelled. I am confident that John McCain will fail once again. Note: African young leaders or potential leaders should pay attention to how Barrack Obama continues to comport himself with class, even when things seem not to be going his way. It isn't what you do, but absolutely how is done. Obama in my book is an incredible human being and I pray to see him fly high, come November 2008. |
See the video of Sarah Palin being annointed by a "witch-hunting" pastor (African style) http://blog.newhumanist.org.uk/2008/09/see-sarah-palin-annointed-by-witch.html |
This seems to me as another political http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/johnmccain/3075493/John-McCain-wants-to-postpone-presidential-debate-with-Barack-Obama.html |
It has been confirmed that once again Sen John McCain is trying to pull a fast one. Due to the current economic crisis in USA, the chicken-man (McCain) is currently intending to postpone the Friday's debate. Enough is enough, Americans are sick and tired of all this meaningless republicans' tricks. The blankman (McCain) needs to come out on Friday and make fool of himself once again. |
Message from my inbox: IMPORTANT VOTING INFORMATION-if you can vote in United States of America and you're for Obama |
It is extremely sad to see the despicable downfall of a great country. Pretty soon, we shall all witness a train conductor (high school drop-out) running for presidential spot in USA. I guess, it is true when folks say "only in America". Now that the economic crisis in United States is starting to affect everyone not only across the country, but worldwide; it is scary that some individuals still haven't realized that at this point, United States of America doesn't need another reckless dumbo to take over the whitehouse. It is critically necessary to elect a completely competent and sincere president, who has the knowledge and integrity to effectively tackle all these enormous challenges United States of America is currently up against. There is absolutely no way to expect a mere bus conductor to perform well as a medical doctor: This is the scope level of the difference between Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin. The difference between these 2 parties is simple and pretty much clear like a day and night. As well as disturbing I also find it very sad that one would still be willingly supporting McPalin at this point in USA. I just wish to know what exactly it would take for these blockheads to wake up from this illogical state of mind. For the past 10 days, Sen John McCain has clearly displayed an image of an unknowledgeable confused angry-man. He has changed his stance on economic crisis more than 7 times, all within a week. In-fact, it has also been confirmed that John McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis (a well paid Washington Lobbyist) was paid by Fannie-Mae up until last month to keep him happy until McCain became president, and then Fannie and Freddie could call in favors; the favors that would further deteriorate standard of living of average Americans. If Obama doesn't win this election on Nov 4th 2008, it would be a real black Tuesday (worst than October 29, 1929), and I'm very sure that the entire world would feel the effect "negatively". |

He is the husband of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, the 2008 Vice Presidential nominee of the Republican Party.Todd Palin was born in Dillingham, Alaska, to Jim Palin and his first wife, Blanche Kallstrom. His father, a native of Seattle, Washington, is a former general manager of Matanuska Electrical Association. His mother, a former secretary of the Alaska Federation of Natives, is one-quarter Yup'ik, and his maternal grandmother, Lena Andre, is a member of the Curyung tribe. Todd Palin has taken some college courses but does not have a degree. In 1984, at the age of 20, Palin was arrested for driving under the influence.[9] No accident and no injuries were involved in the events leading to his arrest Palin is a union member belonging to the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union (United Steelworkers). For 18 years, he worked for BP in the North Slope oil fields of Alaska. In 2007, in order to avoid a conflict of interest relating to his wife's position as governor, he took a leave from his job as production supervisor when his employer became involved in natural gas pipeline negotiations with his wife's administration. Seven months later, because the family needed more income, Todd returned to BP. In order to avoid potential conflict of interest, this time he accepted a non-management position as a production operator. He is also a commercial salmon fisherman at Bristol Bay on the Nushugak River. Financial statements filed in 2007 show that Palin earned $92,790 from BP and fishing. Palin first registered to vote in 1989. From 1995 to 2002 he was registered to vote as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party. In late August 2008, The Politico reported that Palin was registered to vote as an independent ("undeclared" , and had never registered as a Republican. In early September 2008, a spokesman for John McCain said Palin was now a registered Republican. As First Gentleman, Palin has encouraged young Alaskans who cannot afford college to consider jobs in the oil and gas industry as an effective training ground and has advised the Governor on workforce development issues for the natural gas pipeline she supports. He is a community volunteer working in youth sports, coaching hockey and basketball. Gregg Erickson, columnist for the Anchorage Daily News, said that Palin "obviously plays an important role , I've seen him in the governor's office, and I know she's conducted interviews in the governor's office with him present." Palin is copied on e-mails dealing with official state business. He helped write the state budget, has been involved in personnel matters, and has called lawmakers when he or his wife have disagreed with what they have done. |
McCain is competent!@Negro_Ntns: Did you say Mccain is competent? If McCain is competent, what is Obama? This is a total insult! That's it, I'm done. I'm taking a long vacation from this forum for now. I'm sick and tired of kids talking shit just for the sake of talking. I'm out! |
@topic: You may want to check this out! http://omg.yahoo.com/news/fergie-michelle-obama-top-peoples-best-dressed-list/13183?nc Fergie, Michelle Obama top People's best-dressed list |
We can not only focus on what Deepzone or Big B1 wants; we must look a little deeper into the future. And I can assure you that McPalin represents You might want to check out this fact before casting your vote. |
At least our children, nephews, nieces would have the opportunity to witness magnificent moment and also have a clear understanding that if one works hard, it is absolutely possible (not only in Nigeria, but also in United States of America). FYI: Black children are not only watching BET, they are now also watching CNN, MSNBC, |
All in all, I still support McCain's ticket tho because it affords women an opportunity to occupy that office. It's high time American women should rise up and take over the country in totalityDeepZone love: I hate to bust your bubble, but "as a black woman from Africa, you're better off with a black man in the whitehouse" A white woman in the whitehouse wouldn't do you any good. FYI: White women in America would give a brother an opportunity with out any hesitation, but would hesitate before doing the same for a black woman. Trust me, they simply do not care much for you guys (black women); they would take a brother before a sister any time any day. You might need to double check this fact before casting your vote. I hate to see your heart break! |
The buttheads are finally waking up one by one. It is now becoming obvious to all that Sarah Palin is simply not a complex thinker; this has nothing to do with experience factor; it has to do with intelligence and your state of mind. The chick could be coached till the middle of next year, she is not ready and will not be ready for many years to come. Obama's poll numbers are starting to rise up, while the McPalin poll numbers are starting to drop; like I have said many time in the past "the chick will break down with time" You can fool some fools sometimes, but you can't fool all of them all the time. It would be very difficult for the republicans to recover once their poll numbers drop lower because their messiah (Palin) lacks any tangible substance. The chick has been repeating the same The thrill is gone, and it shall stay gone. |
It is very important to make something clear before we start yapping one another; we must clearly understand that there is a difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance simply means lack of knowledge, while stupidity means lack of intelligence. And I'm sorry to inform you guys that the republicans completely understand these definitions, they're mainly focused on distracting and brainwashing these groups of people. FYI:Republicans are currently bragging that they've got a lock on the stupid, racist white voters and the lost black voters. My question is: when is the buttheads are finally going to wake up? |
Look! MAMAJAMA is not referring to the DNC; he's talking about the old man and the bimbo. Instead of focusing more on issues Americans are currently facing, the republicans have turned this election into a race and gender war. It is obvious to all that they have no chance and no material whatsoever; the only thing left for them is to start throwing low blows. The old man graduated fifth from the bottom of his class at Annapolis, while the bimbo travelled all over United States colleges seeking for easy way out, she also hardly completed her bachelor degree. How can anyone in his or her right mind could ever come here to support an old fraud who continues to run the sleaziest campaign. This man lies about everything and doesn't even hesitate to repeat same lies, even after they've been exposed as lies. This is nothing but a disgraceful and dishonorable campaign in American history. And it is amusing to me how America is gradually changing to a joke and a 3rd world country in progress. Republicans state of mind It isn't about the issues anymore, it's all about tricking the fools once again; if Bush could do it twice, the old man and the bimbo could also make it happen. And this is one of the main reasons why McCain's camp continues to intentionally target the ignorant American voters. Again, the old man hates your gut; in his eyes, you're nothing but another house Negro with bunch of credit cards. |
Brotha I have no personal stake in the success or failure of Palin. I neither have no desire to "defend" her . . . my influnece on this election is the total of one vote that will be used however I like. While I do not hide the fact that I personally like Palin's person, if it is uncovered - factually and honestly and accurately - that she is a fraud, best believe I will jump off that train.Calm down, girl-friend. The last time I checked we haven't had electric supply for the past 8 days over in Ajegunle. No need to raise up your blood pressure over nothing. However, when the time is right, I will be the one to come and yank you off the "barren train" before it crashes. |
This is correct; in-fact, I believe this is exactly the |
@JeSoul: Gilf-friend, I'm sorry, but it isn't about Sarah Palin; it is about electing an intelligent entity that knows one or two things about the constitution of United States of America. Sorry, Sarah Palin is absolutely not the one and she knows it too. And I truly think it makes no sense to try to defend someone you do not know. Even McCain at this point is also learning more and more, minute after minute about this chick. Therefore, it would simply make sense to chill and get to know her first before throwing yourself out there naked. |
I pray that this woman would have enough courage to come out and introduce the real Sen. John McCain to Americans. |
The other side of the ocean Carol McCain McCain likes to illustrate his moral fiber by referring to his five years as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam . And to demonstrate his commitment to family values, the 71-year- old former US Navy pilot pays warm tribute to his beautiful blonde wife, Cindy, with whom he has four children. But there is another Mrs. McCain who casts a ghostly shadow over the Senator's presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCain's three eldest children. She was the woman McCain dreamed of during his long incarceration and torture in Vietnam 's infamous 'Hanoi Hilton' prison and the woman who faithfully stayed at home looking after the children and waiting anxiously for news. But when McCain returned to America in 1973 to a fanfare of publicity and a handshake from Richard Nixon, he discovered his wife had been disfigured in a terrible car crash three years earlier. Her car had skidded on icy roads into a telegraph pole on Christmas Eve, 1969. Her pelvis and one arm were shattered by the impact and she suffered massive internal injuries. When Carol was discharged from hospital after six months of life-saving surgery, the prognosis was bleak. In order to save her legs, surgeons had been forced to cut away huge sections of shattered bone, taking with it her tall, willowy figure. She was confined to a wheelchair and was forced to use a catheter. Today, she stands at just 5' 4' in and still walks awkwardly, with a pronounced limp. Her body is held together by screws and metal plates and, at 70, her face is worn by wrinkles that speak of decades of silent suffering. For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives at Virginia Beach, a faded seaside resort 200 miles south of Washington, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later. My marriage ended because John McCain didn't want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens, it just does.' In 1979 - while still married to Carol - he met Cindy at a cocktail party in Hawaii . Over the next six months he pursued her, flying around the country to see her. Then he began to push to end his marriage. Some of McCain's acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centered womanizer who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to 'play the field'. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons. Ted Sampley, who fought with US Special Forces in Vietnam and is now a leading campaigner for veterans' rights, said: 'I have been following John McCain's career for nearly 20 years. I know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me tell you what it is -deceit.' When he came home and saw that Carol was not the beauty he left behind, he started running around on her almost right away. Everybody around him knew it. Eventually he met Cindy and she was young and beautiful and very wealthy. At that point McCain just dumped Carol for something he thought was better.' McCain is the classic opportunist. He's always reaching for attention and glory,' he said. After he came home, Carol walked with a limp. So he threw her over for a poster girl with big money from Arizona . And the rest is history.' Ross Perot, a billionaire Texas businessman, and a former presidential candidate, who paid her medical bills all those years ago, now believes that both Carol McCain and the American people have been taken in by a man who is unusually slick and cruel - even by the standards of modern politics |
You can not blame Yar'Adua for anything; I personally blame OBJ for obvious reason. But nevertheless, IBB still remains the right man for the job. |
