My guy all that alone, how cld uh ave been a victim of fraud at the age of 13, when u don't even know what to do with money at that age,LOL; to each is own. Let's leave that alone and refocus on the topic. Obama should have been more sensible. I still admire the man and without any question he's getting my vote. But Nigerians need to start paying attention; if you don't expect anything, you do not get disappointed. He knows not to fool around with these countries; so what makes it OK for him to fool around with Nigeria? There is no one here asking for a gift, Obama just needs to be more sensible and discover that Nigeria has over 140 mil citizens; hence, you can not just pick 2 or 3 or 4,000 Nigerians to determine our fate. A real politician knows "when to do and when not to do". Obama ought to recognize this protocol immediately. His arrogance and insensible behavior makes me wonder (justify) why Jessie Jackson wanted to cut off his balls and also makes me doubt his leadership skill (experience) that is needed to lead a great nation effectively! |

@posterIt isn't about Indi Okereke Onyuike; it is all about Nigeria as a nation. It is simply stupid to set the whole country on fire just because Indi Okereke Onyuike made a senseless and shameful decision. We (Nigerians) must learn how to listen and identify the music from a distance. For the sake of tomorrow, Obama needs to be immediately slowed down; Nigeria is not a toy. Enough is just enough, Nigerians deserve more respect from this cat. Again, I'm not here to justify Indi Okereke Onyuike's stupidity. She is a grown woman and she should have known better. What I'm saying here is how Obama continues to throw low blows with very little hesitation when it comes to Nigeria or Nigerians. There are many better ways to approach unpleasant situation and I'm sure that Obama clearly understands this ways, but he simply doesn't give a shit about Nigeria or Nigerians. I can assure you that if Indi Okereke Onyuike was from Mexico or Israel, Obama would have approached this issue a little bit more carefully and systematically. Obama is a very bright man, but he needs to wake up, slow down a bit and start using his head more effectively. It is inappropriate to label Nigeria with a dark image just because of few fools. First, I love Obama with all my heart; but this man has carelessly thrown many low blows when it comes to Nigeria or Nigerians. And I do not think this is a good sign. He openly used Nigerian 419 Scam as an example during one of his presidential campaign. Again, just couple of days ago, he also publicly threw Indi Okereke Onyuike under the bus with zero hesitation, by rejecting her fundraising move to support his presidential campaign. I'm starting to think that Obama doesn't respect Nigeria or Nigerians that much. He tends to be extra careful dealing with all political issues as long as the issue has nothing to do with Nigeria or Nigerians. I wonder if Obama would have hesitated a little bit if Indi Okereke Onyuike happened to be from Mexico or England. While I wish him all the best, I think Nigerians should start paying attention to the way Obama continues to treat Nigeria or Nigerians with very little respect. Without any question, I understand that Nigerians are not perfect, but at the same time I think we deserve more respect from this cat. Even the Clintons wouldn't have thrown Indi Okereke Onyuike under the bus just like that or carelessly used Nigeria or Nigerians negatively during campaign as an example. One love to Obama, but he needs to slow down a bit, Nigerians still represent a great percentage of most incredible people from all around the world. Again, I'm not trying to justify or condone Indi Okereke Onyuike's irresponsible action; but one must pay attention to the way Obama continues to disrespect Nigeria as a nation. I can assure you that Obama would have handled this issue differently if Indi Okereke Onyuike was from a Spanish speaking country (because he can not afford to lose those Hispanic votes). |

Saraki operates under the cover, while Adedibu operated openly. Both of them represent (represented) big fish, but you must be very careful when it comes to dealing with folks that operate under the cover. You just do not know the strength of their capabilities. The impact of the action of these folks can not be felt directly nor can it be measured accurately, but could be indirectly deadly. It is more or less like fighting or dealing with an invisible man. Therefore, I think Saraki is a bigger fish; and one could even look at the family political background and clearly understand why Saraki has more muscle. Apart from Lamidi Adedibu, I'm not sure if any other Adedibu could successfully emerge into political arena (e.g for governorship or presidential position) anytime soon; but I can assure you that the Sarakis will be around for many years to come. |

Though a lot of sentiments and emotions have been introduced into the action of the Police Service Commission, an objective analysis of the decision to demote the 140 officers, particularly Ribadu, will show that the former EFCC boss is the architect of his current troubles. For instance, just when Nigerians and the international community were beginning to express satisfaction with the efforts his commission was putting in the fight against corrupt practices, Ribadu suddenly changed. Apparently carried away by the enormous powers appropriated to him by his former evil boss, Olusegun Obasanjo, Ribadu forgot that he was first and foremost a police officer and needed to work within the confines of the laws that govern the Nigeria Police Force. For whatever reason(s) he chose to behave like a politician and in the process, he made a lot of unguided political pronouncements without verifiable facts. He became so power drunk at a point that he behaved as if he was above the inspector general of police, telling whoever that cared to listen that he was not answerable to him. Like the politician he had chosen to be, particularly in the last one year of Obasanjo's administration, Ribadu spoke as if he was the publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as he appeared on television station almost on daily basis, declaring some prominent Nigerians, among them former Nigerian leader, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida as persons unfit to govern the country. Just as many others he called criminals, who must be hunted and hauled into prisons and detention camps for crimes they were yet to be found guilty of. As a lawyer, many of us thought that he should have known that a suspect remains innocent unless found guilty by the law court. But encouraged by the former inspector general of police, Sunday Ehindero (the jellyfish), and praised daily by Obasanjo, Ribadu chosed to jettison this fundamental principle of law as he harassed, arrested and detained at will, innocent Nigerians for days on mere suspicion. Candidly speaking and with all respect to his person, some of us were beginning to wonder if Ribadu was actually a lawyer, because if he is, he should have known the implication of the many illegalities he took pride in committing with brazen recklessness. But what could have pushed a senior police officer (and lawyer by training for that matter) like Ribadu to engage in such uncivilised, primitive and barbaric manner of fighting corruption if not for self pride, imaginary personal satisfaction and ego boosting. Until the constitution is revised and public execution of any convicted corrupt entity is made legal, nothing would be taken serious. After publicly executing 2 or 3 convicted corrupt politicians, I can guarantee you with confidence that we (Nigerians) would never witness such a shamless crowd (supporters of Bode George) in action ever again. Fact: Without the modification of our constitution, nothing serious would happen to these criminals and they will continue to multiply in number by sec (1000 corrupt Nigerian citizens are being produced every 20 seconds; while 100,000 corruption activities are taken place every second at the expense of Nigeria as a nation). The best gift any president could give Nigeria, is to immediately initiate the modification of our constitution and ensure that the process is successfully implemented. In Nigeria today, corruption represents a deadly epidemic that continues to crumble our people and lovely country into dust that has no value. An unprecedented step or action must be taken to rescue the poor/ powerless citizens and save the future for generations unborn. Simmer down and grab a cold glass of water. Advise for RIBADU: Take it as it is; you can never, will never win a war against the president. Smart fellows pick and choose their battles; some fight only the big ones and let go the little ones, while others only fight the little ones and let go the big ones, but the majority (the clever ones) let go everything all together and keep their heads above the water.
