[s][/s] Every state has a budget and this budget is brought to the house of assembly with Mr president giving his approval for the funds to be released. Now tell us : who overseas the proper use of those funds...who is that person who is to enforce that these states comply with what is on their budget to the letter? Who is that person that sanctions states (like in the case of Samuel Ortom) when they do not stick to their budget as stipulated?
thats for federally allocated funds. states still have their own money they can use to do good things....

its not buharis policies - it is the policies approved by Petroluem Marketing bodies, NNPC, senate... It is not Buhari alone that made all those decisions....

We voted Buhari. And from the constitution(except you are in denial) he is to provide the following

1. Security

2. Infrastructure

3. Creation of employment through fiscal policies that the central bank will run

4. Health

These are his responsibilities. So do not be intentionally stupid
Let me ask again - what then is the responsibility of State Governors, State House of Assembly? You are not aware that States have their own taxes and revenues? There are full flegded state houses of assembly who should be actively working on health, creation of employment, infrastructure and security.

Having said this, I agree that performance in the area of security is lacking at the federal level.

Joysticks:
Buhari is the chief security Officer of Nigeria.Nigetians don't have right to carry arms to defend themselves that is why the government recruit securitymen like the army, navy, airforce, police, etc who are under the president command. They are paid from revenue generated from crude oil, levies and taxes paid by Nigerians to the government. So have we not done enough. These revenue and taxes are embezzle by politicians and government agencies as was the case by security chiefs and politicians working under past and present government.
Guys I think you people just have the wrong understanding.

Buhari is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria responsible for preserving territorial integrity from invasion. Based on this definition, the administration of Buhari has failed in containing the Boko Haram insurgency and has failed in its constitutional duty. All that is needed to end the Boko Haram insurgency is to seek military help from more advanced African States like South Africa - combined with the nigerian army to end the insurgency.

But when it comes to non-territorial insecurity, you have more power there - you can do so many things to improve the security of your immediate community....

We pay taxes to Buhari. And those taxes are meant for creating jobs, providing hospitals, security and a lot more. So yes, we should heap everything on him because he agreed (in 2015)to take responsibility for our needs in society
What then is the responsibility of the State Government? It is the State Government (who by the way was elected by the public not by buhari) that is responsible for creating jobs, providing hospitals, security and a lot more in their various states... so your expectation of buhari is misplaced.

Think Not What Nigeria Can Do For You But What You Can Do For Nigeria - A Case of Low IQ

Insecurity - have people in your neighbourhood sought to raise extra funds to pay police or a local vigilante for security - or do you keep heaping everything on Buhari - one of the issues facing Nigeria is that Nigerians are not able to come together - its all about individualism.

Youth unemployment - have you formed any pressure groups to consistently mount pressure on State governments to create jobs? Are the youths willing to work hard? If you complain under chinese or indian led companies then you are not willing to work hard....

Poor hospitals - do you know the name of your concillor and senator - when last did you put pressure on them.

All I hear here every day is Buhari Buhari - obviously there has been some shortcomings in the administration but what are you doing to alleviate it?

Lol, he raised a good point.

Nigeria has a population of about 200M and ur annual budget is shy 30B usd, the country is dirt poor.

Saudi whose population is just 34M+ does 260+ B USD as annual budget and I'm doing that comparison because they also export almost nothing with the exception of oil (Mono Economy), i should be comparing Nigeria to country like Japan, South Korea but they clearly have something alot of black nations do not have - Leadership

That amount (30B USD) should at best be use to run Nigeria homeland security, to some advance country Nigeria is just a charity case.
Nigerians are too lazy to count their population; they need China for that too....its not believable that the population of Nigeria is 200m. America is 300m or so in 52 States. Nigeria should be like 120m max.

A contract should be awarded to China for the counting of Nigerias population.

What was Nigeria development before the British took over?

By 1902 the British had built a tramway in Lagos, completed the Lagos to Kano railway, the Port-Harcourt railway. Till this day Nigeria cannot build or maintain railway. The Monorail that Amechi started in PH has yet to be commissioned, Lagos light rail that started in 2008 is nowhere to be found.
They weren't building those things because they loved us.... they were building it as part of growth of their empire and to aid in transport of raw materials.....

But you have a point.

Work on security, work on health care, work on education.

Human development and security are a country's first priority. Fix the roads and we can work on the railway infrastructure when the country has steel and iron resources to build them.
It should be obvious to you by now that Nigerians can't build or develop anything... the youths are disinclined to anything related to hardwork.... the only way infrastructure projects can work in Nigeria is if it is given to foreigners such as China. If you look at roads, any road project given to a Nigerian firm ends up a failure but the ones given to Julius Berger which has foreign leadership ends up successful.....

Not Intelligent? Goodness gracious. Africans used to rule the entire world. A historical fact the white man will never include in their history books.

Telling Africans they aren't intelligent is simply psychological warfare, a continuation of slavery and colonialism.
I agree!!! Luggard named Nigeria Nigeria; which is similar sounding to "Nigger". The British never meant well; they just pretend that they do.... they are just after their own selfish interests.

BBC pumps out constant stories that depict Africa as unintelligent. With time Africans started believing it.

They won't put the truth that Africa once ruled the world in their history books because it doesn't fit their white supremacist narrative.

Same with Islam. That is why Africans have inferiority complex, where we think every white person is pure and angelic.

The human race is one, just different colours.Like the dogs, cats, horses. The black man and women are the prototype of the human race.Adam and Eve were blacks if they really exist.

Humans all over the world are just a duplication of multiple characters, traits and facial looks.
You can find your lookalike (outside your family)in multiple places as well your traits and xter.
I agree.... also the British wrote the history books and wrote whatever they liked there.... what they sold to Nigerians is that they came to help and that's what they are continuing to sell today....

But the truth can't be hidden forever....

I'm only just learning they used even military to subjugate Benin Empire.

As for inferiority complex, I quite agree..... they ve pumped out so much junk Africans don't even believe in themselves anymore....

British churches and charities promote the white saviour paradigm that oyinbos are savings of Africa.
