R.I.P. (ROT IN PAIN) Abacha. |
Nigerian politics is taking a new turn thanks to GEJ. When was the last time we saw or heard a minister resign his/her appointment? |
That will nail PDP to their coffin and put them finally to their grave. |
I have this feeling that Boko Haram will abduct more people before 2015 elections. What's your view on this? |
Who deserves it? |
Please who is this Atiku? Hahaha, I de laugh!!! |
Let's not forget that Boko Haram can abduct even more girls at any time they intend to do so. They can even re-abduct the Chibok girls after they might have released them. |
A family of Mississippi, is shocked after a family member who was declared dead, suddenly woke up at a funeral home. A 78-year-old man of Holmes County, died on Wednesday night, but he is alive today and his family said it's really a miracle. Walter Williams, also known as Snowball Williams, was pronounced dead by the county coroner Dexter Howard. "They checked him and he was officially pronounced dead. They placed him in a plastic bag, zipped him up and they put him in a hearse,” Eddie Hester, a nephew of Williams said. After he was taken to the funeral home, his leg began to move. An employee at the funeral home immediately contacted a family member. When Williams’ family members arrived they were shocked that the old man was still alive. Williams was taken back to the hospital. The coroner could offer no medical explanation to the bizarre event, saying that it is just a miracle. Football is not the only sport in the world. Nigeria should devote and channel her energy and resources to where we have greater comparative advantage. |
Due to the increasing high level of insurgency in the country particularly in the north including Abuja, it is my view that the seat of government should be relocated from Abuja to Lagos. What are your views, please let us know. |

How many doors does it have and how many passengers does it take? |
I am a Nigerian British based in London. I was recruited from London, UK to teach in a university in Saudi Arabia. I spent the first one week of my arrival in the capital city Riyadh before I was posted to teach in AL JOUF University in Sakaka. To my surprise, I've never met a single Nigerian anywhere I've been and I've not seen any business being run by a Nigerian. I thought they said that Nigerians especially the Ibos are located everywhere in the world. I see myself more as a Nigerian as I was born and grew up there and would like to make contacts with both men and women from Nigeria especially those who have lived in Saudi longer then I have. Has anybody got any information that could help me make useful contacts with fellow Nigerians over here? In the university where I teach, the teaching staff are only from Britain, USA and Canada. |

I can see that some people have misread my post and are making caricature of my offer of N25,00.00 and subsequent N50,000.00. The offer is for the recommender of the actual beneficiary and not for the intended wife. The intended wife has a load of package. However this post is not supposed to be for gold-diggers but for people who are interested in real love and marriage. Please get my information right. |
I am a Nigerian and also a citizen of one of the western countries. I’m a graduate in many fields and professions. I’m currently working in one of the richest countries in the world as an expatriate. I’m in need of a real wife as my present wife is currently proving to be unmarriageable and I’m in need of happiness and a new life with someone else. I intend to retire and go back to Nigeria for good in a few years’ time but my wife is not interested in anything to do with Nigeria and she will like to live and die abroad because she feels that life is better for her over there. However I have been making all necessary plans and arrangements to ensure that I retire comfortably in Nigeria within a couple of years. I therefore need a new beginning and a new love and life in Nigeria to enable me enjoy the fruit of my labour. I need a decent girl who must be a virgin and from a decent Christian family to share the rest of my life with me. I need someone who is honest, truthful, obedient, caring, loving and above all very beautiful and attractive. She has to be from Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu or Anambra state of Nigeria. She must be of above average intelligence and either a graduate or undergraduate of a university. I’m not particular about colour or complexion of the skin of the girl but I’m a dark-skinned man. I’d like a girl with the right curves and who's fully loaded both front and back (if you know what I mean). She has to have a good height of at least 5ft 8inches. The girl would be between the ages of 18 to 30 years, not more than 30 years but must be a virgin. I’d prefer a girl with a background in medicine, agriculture, economics, business, management or similar fields. She must be very fertile as I’d need to have at least two children by her within a couple of years after marriage. In return she would not have to worry about employment as she would have a ready employment in one of my businesses and she would have a comfortable salary and at least one car and other benefits including a comfortable home in the village and in the town (state capital). She would be showered with love from an experienced man who only needs to love and to be loved. I’ve to reiterate that the girl will not be living overseas but with me in Nigeria but could accompany me to some of my overseas visits abroad on my retirement to Nigeria. If you’ve read this post and consider that you don’t have the above qualities but you know somebody who meets the criteria and would be interested in my proposal, please don’t hesitate to contact the person on my behalf and also contact me immediately as you would be rewarded for your effort. If your recommendation meets my approval, then you’ve got yourself a N25, 000.00 instant reward and if it eventually materializes into marriage, then you have an additional N25, 000.00 reward. All you need to do is to contact me with your details and that of the recommended person at frankjoe344@gmail.com with the pictures of the recommended person and her contact details. |
Churches should consider allowing Christian men to marry up to five wives. Only in the that way can the problem of husband shortage be addressed in the present .circumstance. |
I find your topic very interesting because it concerns me. Right now I live in Saudi Arabia where I teach in Al Jouf university. Here the university lectures run from Sunday to Thursday and I have to teach in those days, which are the official work days. Weekend is from Friday to Saturday. I have never seen a church anywhere around where I live and nobody knows of any church anywhere around. However I have not lost any contact with my God since I've been here as I communicate with Him on a daily basis. My contract is usually for one year, which is renewable at the end of each contract. I have 30 days paid leave at the end of my contract to enable me travel to my home in London, UK where my family lives or to travel to my native home in Nigeria before my next contract commences usually by August every year. It is only during my 30 days leave period that I can go to church in London or Nigeria but I have no option. My job is very rewarding and I consider it a special blessing and grace from God for me to have such a job. I believe that God understands my situation and besides He made it even possible for me to get such a job in the first place. |
Okorocha's end could be at sight if he finds himself rubbing shoulders with Catholic priests, doctors or institutions. He should learn from what happened to Ohakim. Pride goes before a fall. Sudden storms are short but little drizzles last long. Violent fires soon burn out themselves. A word is enough for the wise. |
Governor Orji is making all the good headlines. Okorocha has no ideas and is full of crap. |
Please let me know how this would affect me. I am a Nigerian but I live overseas. I don't intend to travel to Nigeria this year. I have five private cars in Nigeria, which I use whenever I am in Nigeria. Is there any way I can get the new plate numbers and the new driving licence from UK where I live? |
Nigeria is always taking one step forward, then three steps backward. When can we take a step and not be worse than we were before we took the first step? |
JUST IN: Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has dissolved his cabinet. ALL political appointees from A-Z have been flushed out. Political advisers should turn their files into the Secretary to the State Government while the Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants are directed to hand over to the Chief of Staff no later than Friday July 19th. His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has invited all Permanent secretaries to a meeting tomorrow, July 18th at the Sam Mbakwe Exco chambers. Time: 8am. |
This is a welcome development for me personally as I've been trying to complete building my hotel. I will be more than happy to get a loan to complete it sooner than later. When completed, it will provide jobs for many Nigerians. I already have a house and all I need is to complete my hotel, which is already half-way through to completion. Please let me know if such loans could be given for a hotel project. Once I complete my hotel it's goodbye to UK because I know that I will be earning enough to keep me going and besides I know that am the boss. |
Let him learn from Gaddafi and Mubarak. |
Why not ask Soyinka and Achebe. |
We should also be burning our corrupt politicians and their families alive. They are doing far more damage than the kidnappers. |
Rochas is not doing much in Imo State. The only visible thing is the free education, the rest is propaganda. Rochas and his gang are a bunch of 419ers and the free education is only to create a false impression. All the road projects he started all around Imo have been abandoned. The state is in big financial difficulty because Rochas sacked all the LGA chairman and councillors elected during Ohakim's regime and they have won their case against Rocha's government and Rochas will be forced to pay back to them all the arrears of their salaries for nearly two years period. Rochas has been incapable of inaugurating the state boards to run the business and government of the state due to financial problems in the state. May God rid us of bad governors in Imo state before the state crumbles. |
Nigerians have got brains to excel in every area of human endeavour but we generally lack the necessary support from government, NGOs and the public. Nigerians can rule the world if they are given the right environment and support. |
