Politics / Re: Lai Mohammed To Thugs: Disrupt Saturday’s Election In Kwara And Risk Your Lives by bigdoo: 5:55am On Mar 05, 2019
I am not surprised that this is coming from the blood sucker himself. But how can the government be threatening the very citizens it is duty bound to protect with taking their own lives because of political gains? Nigeria is really finished under Buhari's regime and we are all going to pay for it. GEJ made it categorically clear that ''his political ambition is not worth more than the live of a single Nigeria''. Those are the words of a true domocrat, a true leader and a true Nigerian, a Godly and peaceful man. Today, the exact opposite is the case in Nigeria. Buhari and his APC government do not care about how many Nigerians they take in order to achieve their political ambition. This is too sad. Indeed, there was a country.

I trust that God will be tough on you in these coming four years. All powers belong to God and not Buhari. We have seen people like you in the past, but we all know what happened at last. Nigeria is definetely in God's hands no matter the evil machinations of a few people in authority.

Religion / Re: Moment FR. Mbaka Prophesied That God Said Buhari Shouldn’t Run - Sun Newspaper by bigdoo: 9:14am On Mar 01, 2019
Anybody who listens, and/or attends Mbaka’s church is a complete slowpoke. He is a commercial operator operating under the cover of being a priest. Note that I did not refer to him as a Father. From waxing and recording his songs to flirting with politicians and demanding that they invest in his church, Mbaka has lost it and he is heading to nowhere but oblivion.

This is only just the beginning. Just watch as the tyrant imposes Sharia law if he wins the election and gets re-elected president. Nigeria will be set on fire and human life will be wasted because Buhari thrives on senseless killings, which have become the order of the day of his regime.

Why should Atiku be talking about enriching his friends and not all Nigerias? I just don't get it. So our nation's wealth could be used just to enrich Atiku's friends alone. Sorry, I'm not with you on this one.

Car Talk / Re: Diesel And Petrol Vehicles May Be Banned In The Next 10 Years In Nigeria by bigdoo: 11:45am On Jan 11, 2019
We should also be talking about banning diesel and petrol generators, which in my view could be contributing to greater pollution to the environment than motor vehicles. This is because there are more generators than cars in Nigeria. Many people who can't even afford a car have at least one generator. And many people who have cars have many generators. In addition, people have generators for use at home, office and business premises, thereby making generators the greatest pollutants in our country.

This Amaechi man is an honest person. Remeber that he earlier said that they (politicians) are stealing because Nigerians have refused to stone them. Now he has emphasised that nothing will change unless all politicians are killed. He is a very honest man and he has said it all, history will vindicate him. It's now left for Nigerians to rise up to these few people (politicians) who have held our country down and made Nigeria a laughing stock in the midst of all the world.

I laugh at Nigeria and Nigerians for the stupid mistake they made by electing Buhari president in 2015. The bloodshed, impunity, insecurity, lawlessness, high handedness, suffering and hardship currently experienced by Nigerians in Buhari's first term would be nothing to compare with what he will unleash if Nigerians foolishly vote him into power again. Then he will unfold his Islamic agender, which has been played down for a purpose.
Politics / Re: Exposed: Level 16 Workers In Kwara Earn N71,000 by bigdoo: 7:31am On Jan 04, 2019
If a level 16 civil servant earns only N145,000.00 per month, then government is the one aiding and abating corruption in Nigeria. That kind of money should be for level 1 civil servants. How can a person even survive on N145,000.00 per month in Nigeria? I still can't figure it out. Why shouldn't the workers be corrupt and why shouldn't they steal at the slightest opportunity? More so when they are aware that some set of civil servants earn N14 million monthly in the same country of ours as allowance alone.

I know how hard things are in Nigeria because I come to Nigeria regularly, and N150,000.00 is hardly sufficient for my energy needs alone in one month. With N2,500.00 per day I can only afford 8 hours of electricity with my generators and on the average N3,000.00 fuel is what I need for my cars on a daily basis. So my energy monthly expenditure is N165,000.00, more than a level 16 worker's salary. This is sheer wickedness on the part of the government, which allocates billions of naira to governors as security vote, which the governors don't even account to anybody for and they only provide security for themselves and their families. This system must change and the people cannot continue to suffer in silence. Please do something.

Politics / Re: Niger Delta Group Tackles Buhari Over Nigeria’s Worsening Economic Situation by bigdoo: 9:00am On Dec 28, 2018
Why are these Niger Deltans complaining when they have all the power to shut down the economy of the whole country by blowing up all the pipelines in all the oil producing states. This will ground the economy and then we see how Buhari will get all the money he pumps to the north east and states in the north in the form of one project or another, IDPs and for fighting insurgency.

This government and the country have not made any single progress in the past four years and everything including corruption have worsened.

Politics / Re: Only Two People Are Not Corrupt In Nigeria – Balarabe Musa by bigdoo: 6:56pm On Dec 27, 2018
The greatest corruption is with the politicians, political appointees and contractors or anybody directly or indirectly linked to the government. The wealth of the nation is being shared amongst these groups of people, making it impossible for the Nigerian worker to earn a decent wage and for massive lack of infrastructure in the country. If there was employment for all our people (or at least a great majority of people), and we have constant electricity, water supply, good roads and working infrastructure, most people would be too busy with lives, work and businesses and corruption and crime would be minimal.

But in a situation whereby a politician who might not even be well educated and does little in terms of working hard is paid N14 million naira every month as one allowance out of many, and the government is feeling that another citizen should be paid less than N30,000, which cannot really feed any family for two weeks, then we should not be complaining if there is corruption, crime, violence and anarchy everywhere. As far as I am concerned either the people or the government have not woken up to the realities of facing our real impediments to living like animals in a jungle with no rules and adequate provisions particularly in a country like Nigeria that is gifted with all that it takes to rival any developed nation in the world. The solution rests with the masses, who have become too docile and have only allowed the few people who are controlling our factors of production to only increase after every four years.

Travel / Re: Togo’s Lome Port Overtakes Apapa Wharf As West Africa’s Leading Container Port by bigdoo: 6:04pm On Dec 24, 2018
With so much corruption going on at the wharf, Buhari still talks about fighting corruption. Even Togo that is smaller than the smallest state in Nigeria is now the number one port in West Africa. With what other yardstick are we going to measure the colossal failure of Buhari's government. For those who are supporting him for a second tenure, by the time he finishes a second tenure, Nigeria will be the last in everything and every country in the world. And that includes being the last and worst in fighting corruption, which is his slogan and mantra. Nigeria would be completely finished.

Nigerians have never had it so rough and tough like this before. Only in Buhari's regime, Nigeria has become a zoo, jungle and shithole combined. I pity those who are blinded by tribalism and selfish interests for even considering casting their votes for the tyrant called Buhari. I live abroad, but I feel greatly ashamed to call myself a Nigerian.

Religion / Re: When You Refuse To Forgive. by bigdoo: 3:22pm On Dec 23, 2018
I know that I am not a pastor, but I have some knowledge of the bible. I have not come across anywhere it's written that we must forget, but the bible insists that we must forgive. This issue of forgetting is a man-made idea or ideology. We can not forget things that made significant impact on our lives either positively or negatively unless we get too old to remember, we have a debilitating illness that hampers our reasoning and remembering things or we just learnt something by rote method just to pass an exam. Forgetting anything is so difficult unless that thing is of no significant purpose in our lives or we didn't really encode the message/knowledge at the initial stage. For example, a child never forgets the day the parent bought him/her a favourite toy and also such a child will never forget the day his/her parents had a fight over an important issue such as an affair. Such a child could live with remembering such events or occurrences even till old age or death.

But we can forgive anything, even though most people would tend to forgive after retaliation. Nonetheless, forgiveness is very possible because God has given us the ability to forgive and that's why he has decreed it upon us to forgive. If forgiveness were an impossible thing, God would not have tasked us to forgive our neighbours. However, forgiving someone doesn't mean that one must not be cautious of his/her enemies. I would forgive my enemy who I know dislikes me for one reason or the other, but I would not honour his/her invitation for a lunch or dinner.

Car Talk / Re: All-electric Cars Can Now Swap Dead Batteries With A Fully Charged One by bigdoo: 12:46pm On Dec 23, 2018
I trust our mechanics, technicians and electricians especially the Igbo boys. Very soon they will find a way of reconstructing petrol engine cars to electric cars. I believe those Igbo guys at Ladipo, Onitsha and Aba can tap in and reverse-engineer the petrol engine cars to electric cars once the electric cars come into Nigeria and they have enough time to study and copy the technology behind the electric cars. So I don't think that petrol and deisel cars will become obsolete. I have been able to convert a right hand drive car I used in London to a left hand steering car and it drives perfectly well in Nigeria. I have also converted an injector car to carburator engine in Nigeria and it works quite OK. It's going to be a booming business for our technicians/mechnics/engineers/electricians. Nija no de carry last.

Politics / Re: Fighting Corruption Not An Economic Policy; Peter Obi To Buhari by bigdoo: 11:44am On Dec 13, 2018
Buhari is fighting corruption as an uneducated illiterate and with a biased mind, focusing only on his political opponents. Despite all his noise about fighting corruption, I don't know how many people he has successfully convicted and given deserving punishment. I also don't know what he has done with all the money he has recovered so far, there is no accountability for the so called recovered money.

An intelligent and educated person should strenghten and create or modify institutions that fight corruption and block every possible loophole to make it less possible for corruption to freely take place as it is in Nigeria even up to this moment. His approach is too primitive, military and lacks modern scientific approach. Nothing has really changed on our streets, offices, armed forces, etc; corruption is still trending as ever before. I am personally not impressed with the so called fight against corruption as more money than ever before is being looted under the watch of Buhari and his fight against corruption mantra. It's a complete sham and scam as is everything that goes with his name.
