Dis one na shakara Buhari de do. |
It is said "look before you leap", I am still looking carefully. |
What an unbelievable story. These Asians are wonderful people. I learnt that Great Khali the wrestler (WWE) used to fight with lions and kill them with his bare hands in India. |
I don't see anything bad in a woman keeping her father's name as a middle name after marriage. It is good to know where she is coming from. These days with the help of modern technology it would be relatively easier for old time school mates to find their old time friends. If a woman retains her father's name as a middle name she would be found more easily. |
Well, we can all see that the only way the majority of us (common, ignored and marginalised people) can ever get the government to listen and give us our own rightful share of our national cake is by total revolution by the masses. If not, it will continue to be business as usual till the end of the world. The rich in Nigeria will continue to get richer while the poor masses suffer and die suffering. |
I believe that the price of petrol could be lowered by the government in future. It could even become the subject of the next presidential campaign come 2015. I wouldn't be surprised if GEJ promises a reversal of fuel price from N97 to N65. |
I don't know if I can take Chris Okotie serious as a pastor. However most women only turn out to be some kind of Jezebel soon after marriage and I am talking from experience. |
Nigeria we hail thee. |
The struggle continues. It is not over until it is over. |
I will be more than happy to pay N3000.00 for electricity for 3 weeks. In fact I spend N1500.00 every day to power my generators each day for only about 6 hours at night whenever I am in Nigeria. If electricity is constant every time, I would be more than happy to pay N10,000.00 per month. |
Nigeria should be producing at least 18,000 MW of electricity to ensure adequate and interrupted power supply. Pakistan, which is about the same as Nigeria in population currently generates 17,000 MW but has the capacity to generate up to 21, 000 megawatts. Islamabad: Chairman National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) Khalid Saeed has said that the country has the capacity to produce 21,000 megawatts of electricity but at present only 17,000 mw is being generated due to lack of funds. |
Only in Nigeria will you find policemen in uniform collecting bribes openly on the roads. |
Lagos is working, Fashola is working. |
This lady must be out of her mind. In a relationship, it is the richer person who looks after the poorer one. So it is the lady who should be spending her money for the guy because she earns more money. |
None of her daughters is as cute or tall as her. |
Please does anybody know how many MW of electricity Nigeria needs to be self-sufficient in electricity supply i.e. to guarantee uninterrupted power supply 24/7 taking into consideration our population and size? |
I think that the pastor is simply the mouthpiece of General Buhari. |
Why didn't any of Nigerian media houses report the return of the loot? |
I came across this quote from the Quran and I could not believe what I saw. Chapter 9, Verse 111 of the Holy Qur’an Sahih International: Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment. Pickthall: Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph. Yusuf Ali: Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme. Shakir: Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain; a promise which is binding on Him in the Taurat and the Injeel and the Quran; and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? Rejoice therefore in the pledge which you have made; and that is the mighty achievement. Muhammad Sarwar: God has purchased the souls and property of the believers in exchange for Paradise. They fight for the cause of God to destroy His enemies and to sacrifice themselves. This is a true promise which He has revealed in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. No one is more true to His promise than God. Let this bargain be glad news for them. This is indeed the supreme triumph. Mohsin Khan: Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allah's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success. |
The editor of the newspaper should be summoned for publishing such an article without editing it first. |
Barack Obama truly represents the real American dream. |
They look very much alike. |
I thought that GEJ said that he will limit overseas travels to the barest minimum. I don't see him keeping to that promise. |
She has always been a beautiful girl. |
Don't tell me this is true. |
What we need is patience to know whether Patience Jonathan is pregnant or not, time will tell. |
Seeing is believing. |
Why didn't SSS summon Buhari when he declared that he would make Nigeria ungovernable if GEJ won the 2011 presidential elections? |
What about allowance for pregnant men? |
I am surprised or perhaps not really surprised to hear this kind of story about Senator Hope Uzodimma. I once wrote a post alerting the public about this same man called Hope Uzodimma. I am from the same Oru East LGA with Hope Uzodimma. I know his house at Omuma and I have also been there. I know that Hope Uzodimma attended Mgbidi Boys' Secondary School at Mgbidi in Oru West LGA. I don't think that Mr Hope Uzodimma passed his O'level. He never attended any institution of higher learning either in Nigeria or anywhere else in the world. He has been one of the grandfathers of 419 business with the former governor of Imo State, Ohakim as his boy in 419 business. He shared the same office with Ohakim as 419 operators. I wrote sometime in the past to express my dissatisfaction with a man of such questionable character and integrity representing my senatorial district. I have no personal problems with Hope Uzodimma but definitely he does not merit to represent my senatorial district because there are a thousand or more people with sound qualifications, excellent character, integrity and wisdom who deserve to be in that position. I don't really know how he bought himself into that position. When I visited home last year before the elections, I was reliably informed that he gave a sum of N500,000.00 to the 10 traditional rulers in my town to enable them campaign for his election into the House of Senate. He definitely must have handed out same amount of money to all the traditional rulers in the whole towns in my LGA. |
There is no rest for the devil. |
