The Police are not deterred, that is to tell you they are still in-charge, just like light and darkness, whatever light does is empty, light is still in-charge, I think you should worry about yourself and not the Police. Instead of IPOB ESN & their UGM to divert & direct their anger to the Politicians who spoilt this country, the attack is rather on the Police & the Military, they lost focus, there wouldn't have been any need for this agitations, in fact every common Nigerian would have supported their course, everyone in administration would have sat up and think well of Nigeria. The Police only refers to those the sit at home order may affect, owing to the various threats

IPOB, ESN are cowards, they lost focus, the problem is not the military or the police but the Politicians that is sponsoring them,let their anger be directed at the Politicians, Kanu is wise he knows the problem, he hide far away from attack, because he is feeding fat from it but not telling his brothers the truth. Projects contracted to themselves , family & friends, that is why they are not monitored to know if there was actually any project before putting up this list. Good at making promises, no promises fulfilled, campaign promises,endsars promises etc, the worst is the increase in the price of everything in the market, there is hardship, we are suffering. The shortcomings of this government wouldn't have been noticed if not for the hunger, very unfortunate. I thought when Jonathan could not deliver Nigeria, the change which everyone crave for will come in this government, everyone was excited but it is the same scam. That is the reasons for the insurgencies, banditary and the increase in other vices, including the agitations in the south east and south west, Nigeria would have been a peaceful country. The problem of this country is not the Police or the Military but the Politicians, the PDP & the APC. Nigerians suffers in the midst of plenty. Now who will deliver Nigeria? Is it revolution or military take over? Everyone is confused except the Politicians, the rich & the beneficiaries of the government, the praise singers that did not see anything wrong. May God Almighty take control of Nigeria situation, AMEN

When is it useful, night or day. I don't get the point or is it one the misplaced priority or diversionary measures from realities we face in Nigeria every now and then.

I am sure you don't have much right to change things, but because of your husband's influence and power,well that's how Nigeria is wired. though you have good points on its influence on children and the sanitation issue but don't forget to influence your husband to try and do something about Police welfare, they work like elephant eat like ant, the salary is so meager, all the endsars promise of increase have not been met till date,an inspector's salary is doubled almost thrice of what his counterpart in the military collects. In the military, a retired pensioner collect basics of what he earns as salary, they live well after retirement, why can't the Police enjoy same, pls let your husband at least fight for this two issues, even one of them if he can and the entire Police will never forget him just like till tomorrow former IGP Balogun is respected and adored by an average Policeman.

In other words, if legalized you will be out of job,ha ha ha. On a lighter note, you are right, don't advise lawmakers, some of them even do drugs and don't advice Nigerians who couldn't kick against it, by the time they legalize it, their children & loved ones becomes addicts, the Politicians themselves becomes victims of criminals from the influence of the same drugs they legalize, they will know. To the Politicians, the country's security situation is not bad enough & many of them are part of the problem of the country today, bad governance,no good economic plan,wanton looting , laundering, making our youth jobless, paving way for idle minds leading to criminality of different types such as the terrorism, banditary, herdsmen killings, kidnapping, trafficking, rituals killings, attacks on security personnels, government properties and other vices. It just that the these attackers lost focus, if not, the attack when directed at this Politicians, changes would have come and there will be no need for this agitations here and there.

I pray for a day a President will come, take care of the Police, pay them well, get them all the logistics they need,all the weapon they need, so that they can fully be in-charge of internal security, while soldiers return to Barracks, without interference. They can't relate with the people or sister agencies, always embarrassing each other, we don't hear of these other in countries, not even in other African countries, no communication or synergy amongst them, except flexing muscles, this muscles would have been more useful on the insurgents and criminals in other zones who are growing stronger daily

No news of Police & Soldiers fighting in other countries except in Nigeria, sometimes you see Police coming to assist Soldiers when in difficulties, Soldiers as well do assist the Police, but that ego in them especially the soldiers thinking they are better than the Police, when they do go same kind of operational duties such as the northeast Boko Haram, armed banditary & other insurgencies, engaging kidnappers,armed robbers, they go international peacekeeping operations, they know their weaknesses & strength but Soldiers still think they can intimate the Police instead of being like brothers, soldiers have not experienced any real war situations, they could not realize they suffer together with meager salary from a government that don't really appreciate them. Whenever Soldier has issue with the Police, he cannot handle it alone,he will have to call his colleagues, I see that as weakness, they disgrace themselves in public, severally Soldiers killed some Policemen in the past, the Police will not retaliate & nothing will be done about it. That is what the Soldiers enjoy, they love themselves,they unite more, their authority stand for & behind them, give them confidence but the Police do not love themselves,no unity, their authority will be confused & will never be behind them even if the Police is unjustly treated, they will bring them out immediately. This has negative effect on the Police, if not the Soldiers would have met their March. It is very unfortunate there is no understanding between them.

Anybody that agree with kanu on this is a fool forever,he is diverting attention,all those that had contact with kanu in the past must have been vetted & found clean without them knowing, enough Intel on this guy must have been made before declaring him to be esn henchman, kanu is in a safe place,in a comfort zone somewhere dishing verbal warfare, putting his brothers who are not ready to learn into physical warfare, into trouble, just because of the meager stipend he gives his jobless brothers. Regional Government of the old is the answer, all these agitations and killings will stop, there will be sense of belonging, there will be competition in all sector of each of the regional government, youths will be engaged, be productive and no longer be destructive, nigerians abroad will prefer to be home, you will hardly see people dying to go abroad risking their lives except on a visit

It is only in Nigeria you see hospitals meant to save lives reject people ,sometimes this victims die at the entrance of the hospital gate because they were denied access into the hospital by the hospital management. No hospital in Benin ,or Togo tries that,their license will be withdrawn,it is against their law.

But in Naija ,hospitals will be rejecting people as if they do selective treatment .looking for those with minor cases of headache, body pain, malaria etc.


Same way Nigeria police behaves, they run away from armed robbers,terrorists, bandits,militants. But will be patrolling looking for yahoo boys, pickpockets, responsible citizens to arrest and extort, even meddling into issues of husband and wife quarrel.

Killing & arrest of armed robbers,kidnappers, bandits & other organised crime reported day in day out by the Police is not easy, they cannot do it all, despite lack of logistics & welfare, just like in a family you try your best but some relatives still think you are not doing enough & they castigate you,unlike these health staff who are reasonably paid, has a Union to protect their interest,if they embark on strike, their salary or whatever get increased but Police reverse is the case, even the promises during endsars saga nothing was done.
But don't beat your wife or assault her in any form & you still think when she or neighbors report you to Police it doesn't concern them ooo.
Although many do not know how the police functions,despite their education or the deprivations Police faces. They lay down their life to protect the people who hate them so much.So you can see, they are not useless as you said
