When shopping with Konga or Jumia.... Don't ever pay before delivery is taken. Reduce buying fonts there too (though I've bought two fones on Jumia before without issue but they were newly released fones of which they were the major seller).
I recently ordered some items on Jumia and what was delivered was different from what was advertised. I simply ignored the items and paid for the one I was satisfied with.
Even at that, the one I paid for was supposed to be dark red in color only for me to come see lilac colored item.
I think they now take us all for granted. |

Phones › Re: Why You Should Not Register MTN With Your BVN Details by bigtt76(f): 10:20am On Feb 01, 2016 |
Na so naa! SPAM SMS became rampant after the first SIM card registration took place in Naija. Recently I received wedding invitation and subsequent thank you SMS from couple I know nothing about. Sad I couldn't reply to them habeeblai244: My MTN line is partially blocked and I've been getting messages asking me to allow MTN access my BVN to complete the SIM registration. My skepticism won't let me do this. It's not that I don't just trust MTN or something, I'm actually scared of my fellow countrymen working in that company. A regular Joe working with MTN might receive a 10 million naira payment from someone who needs a thousand BVNs. Am I overthinking? Maybe not. Your data is never safe with these companies.
I have a new MTN line I've never used for registration anywhere online and recently, it's receiving promotional messages from Jumia. There can only one explanation to this. Tho my friend told me Jumia and MTN are partner, But why would they start sending promotional msg to me that way. Our Country Men at work.
My bro who Did Jamb Last Year Recieved up to 10sms from one unrecognized polytechnics and college of Edu telling him "he has been offered admission" pls tell me where they got his number.
So what am try to say is that, Dont trust MTN with your BVN details. Do you think I will turn down an offer when someone tell me to just give him access to just 1000 BVN details and am gonna get 10millions.
This is my own oppinion, What do you Think??

Bros ...don't get me wrong I'm not saying the whole of Onitsha is bad ...what I meant and to which you indirectly corroborated as embolden below bishop4life: This is how you just sit and type rubbish? Onitsha may be bad at anything but not stuffs like this. You can only be tricked like this when you buy from a roadside hawker. Let me lecture you about onitsha. An average onitsha resident knows what it means to loose his customers. He knows what it means to invest into futility. Once it comes to eatery. The best is always the best patronized cos an average onitsha resident will travel even from onitsha to umuoji, oba, nsugbe, obosi and as far as nnobi to get the best treat. Op's claim of being duped by five star of all places looks dubious! The only place you get this kind of scam in Nigeria is along ore. |

Thank you for this jaaaare! Before I'm crucified for this alone People just don't understand that these things are achievable by just watching YouTube videos and getting the parts online or locally sef. Is the so-called guy also the manufacturer of the coiled rubber hose he's using? Or the radio he's using to control the plane? So because of this, FG should go build a very big hanger so he can start building passenger planes or drones? High time we get a law regulating the use of unlicensed drones either for leisure or otherwise in this country. I foresee a time when this machines would be armed with dangerous weapons to cause havoc. Who knows the BH bomb specialist may have started in like manners too ignored by Government (regulatory purpose tho) but embraced by the chalaterns EgunMogaji: You're studying mechanics and you don't realize that this guy is a complete fraud?
The plane is a Cessna 172 trainer remote control plane. $50 online.
Special fuel? You can learn how to mix fuel on YouTube. |
Science/Technology › Re: Nigerian, Aghogho, Builds Mini Aircraft (Picture &video) by bigtt76(f): 1:31pm On Jan 31, 2016 |
Of course I have no cause to reinvent the wheel we all should be objective enough to understand that he did not 'manufacture' those parts locally just assembled them which is what I'm trying to make all understand here and on other similar threads. I give it to the guy though for understanding the mechanics and terminology involved as well as having a good grasp of flying it but he much give credit to where it is due. BTW what special fuel did he formulate even boasting of not suffering fuel scarcity in whatever location he finds himself.... Is he indicting himself of being part of vandals? #Justsaying HeGeMon: Go & do ur own na, first show us the one uve done , God help your pain |
