Still SWP is playing like crap. He is not doing much despite him seeing a lot of the ball and his delivery into the box is just pathetic. Adebyor is not getting quality crosses. |
bawomolo:but its ur fault that u are 4-6 and ur QB leads the league in INTs Minnesota go whip una again this weekend ![]() |
A-40:wrong answer! its bawo and the Chicago 'INT throwing' Bears http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft09/news/story?id=4027503The colts schedule is ranked 13th, while Pittsburgh's is ranked 29th (not too far from Chicago ) |
Assuming that Ibra and Messi are fit enough and start alongside Xavi, Pep will have to drop one of Busquets, Iniesta and Henry. I think the best choice would be to drop henry (who can then come on later in the game for either Ibra/messi/keita/busquets depending on the scoreline and game flow). Busquets is the only DM, while Keita adds some steel to the midfield in the absence of Yaya. Iniesta can play on the left in place of Henry and still be able to drop in to midfield to help when they lose the ball. Dropping Keita will likely result in Barca being out muscled in midfield (xavi and iniesta are not the most physically gifted). Keita as a DM will struggle against Kaka and could get an early booking, making him less effective for the rest of the game. |
Time to justify some of those millions. Want an early Xmas gift ![]() The pressure is on Barca, playing at home and in second position. Madrid going 4pts clear is not a palatable thot for the cules ![]() Hope the game lives up to the expectations. The ref needs to watch out for handball by Henry ![]() |
which team has the weakest schedule this season? ![]() |
Broncos are dominating the Giants on both sides of the field. They are a useless team; where was all these last sunday when the Chargers were wiping the floor with them. ![]() |
bawomolo:A 40 days journey took them 40 years. They spent the time perambulating in the wilderness. They wouldnt be my choice as a template for success, talk less of greatness ![]() A-40:As long as they are not rushing him back prematurely. Ben needs to have his reflexes at close to optimum behind the Steelers' porous O-Line and against the Ravens D, else he might suffer another concussion. I expect the Ravens to blitz heavily. The Green Bay Packers seem to be on a rollThey havce put in some really good performance in the past weeks and rodgers is not getting sacked as often (3ce in last two games). Its unfortunate that Rodgers doesnt get much credit for his performances. Seems he would have to win a ring before he can step out of Bretts shadow. Now to watch the Giants compound the woes of the broncos ![]() |
The UEFA standings are correct that Barca is 3rd. Head to head results are used ahead of goal difference. Barcelona Out: Yaya Touré (illness) Doubtful: Lionel Messi (groin), Gabriel Milito (knee), Eric Abidal (left thigh, illness), Rafael Márquez (illness), Zlatan Ibrahimović (hamstring)Without Tourefully fit Ibra and Messi, barca will be lucky to get a draw. I would expect both to start from the bench and come on if needed. Inter Out: Davide Santon (knee) Doubtful: Wesley Sneijder (thigh) Not looking good for Barcelona ![]() e be like say DK go get company (Farca & Liverfool) for europa league |
Houston Kicker, Kris Brown, should be stoned to death, and then axed from the team. He missed again on another game tieing field goal. The guy obviously cant handle the pressure. |
More QB problems in pittsburgh. While Ben recovers from a concussion, first backup QB, Charlie Batch will miss next six weeks witha wrist injury. Only availble QB is now third choice, 2nd yr Dennis Dixon (who has had only one pass attempt in NFL) @A-40 You need to hit Ramadan mode quickly, as your team needs some fasting and prayers to get into the playoffs. Without palomalu, Flacco + mason will try to torch your secondary. @bawo You guys are killing prime time games. Cutler is turning them INTo festivals. ![]() @JeSoul For the first time I am not sure I want the Pats to lose. Hopefully Pats v Saint is almost as good as the colts game (doubt anything can better this season) |
~Jaguar~:Your faith will be tested next monday when Brady and the Pats come visiting. ![]() |
Stupid Cincinnati blew a golden chance to put the AFC North in a headlock by losing to Oakland. Bengals 17-20 Oakland. Congrats to Gradkowski and the Raiders. Hope this is the last we will see of Russel. ![]() Poor Denver, the nightmare continues.Chargers 32-3 Denver. Giants v Broncos on Thursday. 5th straight loss for Denver? Their hopes for making the playoffs is dieing slowly. With 3 games left, the AFC road to Miami is almost sure to pass thru Indy. Second place seed is now wide open, with Pats, Bengals, and Chargers, all in the mix. I think the Pats will take it, with their game against the Saints being the only one I feel they will lose. With Palomalu out for a month the Steelers secondary was vulnerable in the game against the chiefs. Chambers looked like a star. Hopefully Big ben will be recover from his concussion in time for their game against the ravens. |
Indianapolis 'Houdini' Colts escape yet again and are 10-0, Colts 17-15 Raven ![]() Pittsburgh lose Ben and the game in OT; Steelers 24 -27 Chiefs. Giants end their losing streak by beating Atlanta in OT; Falcons 31-34 Giants |
switch47:6 draws is not the same as 4 losses, cos the opposition gets only 6 points and not 12. |
Seems Simms ( ) will be starting against the Chargers. Given the guy's performance against the Shitskins, its not looking good for Denver. If Chargers win, they would have 1 game lead on Denver, (while a Denver win would essentially give them a 1.5 game lead.)Looking at their last six games Broncos v Giants, Chiefs x2, Colts, Raiders and Eagles = 3-3 or 4-2? Chargers v Chiefs, Browns, Dallas, Bengals, Titans, Shitskins =3-3 at worst, with 5-1 being quite achievable If chargers win, they will likely win the division, and Broncos would find it hard to get into the wild card. |
Yeah too many would take a few yards off anybody |
bawomolo:what took them so long? the guy shouldnt have taken a single snap in the first place. With brown out for the season., the wild cat is nothing more than a pussy cat ![]() |
I dont buy the argument that the Pats snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. If they had punted the ball, the colts still had a decent chance of winning the game. That the Pats went for it (and failed courtesy of a great play by the Indy defence) on 4th and 2 made it easier for the colts is secondary. Both teams were evenly matched: the Pats started stronger but faded, while the colts were better in the 4th qtr. I beg forget about Pittsburgh winning the AFC North, particularly with Polomalu being injured again. Bengals have a 1.5 game lead and would have to lose at least 2 more games than the steelers in the remaining games. Compare the schedules Bengals v Raiders, Browns, Lions, Vikings, Chargers, Chiefs and Jets Steelers v Chiefs, Ravens x2, Raiders, Browns, Packers Dolphins. Steeler fans should pack their bags for a post season road trip as the AFC 5th seed Johnson is done as a starting running back, but he is still very good as a backup option, and his running still suits the Bengals very well. |
bawomolo:I doubt it is for nothing, or who do you think freeney and mathis practice their sacks on? ( I doubt its peyton)there hasn't being much wear and tear on benson. i think he would last for a couple of seasons. the same can't be said for a 30yr old uninspired back.Benson currently has a sore abductor muscle and didnt play in the second half against Pittsburgh. He is doubtful for their weekend game. Johnson is still a solid RB and averaged 4.5 last season. They have signed him till the end of the season as therir 4th choice RB and he is there mainly to provide cover if needed. Johnson's problem are more of locker room and off field issues. privates jauron has being fired. good riddanceI didnt expect his to be the first head to roll. My bet would have been on Mangini, Cable (& Russel) or Morris |
bawomolo:Are you kidding me? Sorgi, $850K per year Vinatieri $1.6 per year Manning $ 11.5M per year I dont see Sorgi in ads, nor do I see Archie Manning suffering from Parkinson disease :-/ Whatever life, Sorgi is living, Manning can buy 10 of it. Few will remember Sorgi, while most will not forget Manning. Personally, I abhor mediocrity, and believe that what is worth doing at all, is worth doing exceedingly well What do they need johnson for? They are most likely worried that Benson wont last into post season. Their other RBs are averaging less than 3.5yd per carry. The Bengals rely heavily on their running game; losing Benson without a replacement would ruin their season. Johnson should behave till the end of te season. |
Larry Johnson joins the Bengals. Think he will be a model citizen till the end of the season, after which the Bengals should cut him. |
Most people that suffer from Alzheimer, Arthritis or any other of such diseases are not ex pro footballers. I am not saying there is no risk involved in playing pro football, but I dont think its enough for me to discourage someone from being what they want to be. |
With the loss of Kyle Orton, Denver is not looking to good for their Sunday hosting of the Chargers. |
JeSoul:Senile or not, they still chose Manning ![]() QBs dont suffer that much abuse in the modern game. Its RBs that get the most punishment. The fraction of people that suffer cerebral damage from playing football is minimal, and does not warrant limiting a child's ambition to just being a kicker. Boxing, on the other hand, is a different beast altogether. |
For the unbelievers who are still comparing Manning and Brady, the elders have spoken and it wasnt even close ![]() Hall of Famers choose Manning over Brady For Peyton Manning: (13½ votes) Troy Aikman (Class of ’06), George Blanda (’81), Len Dawson (’87), Dan Fouts (’93), Bob Griese (’90), Sonny Jurgensen (‘83), Jim Kelly (’02), Warren Moon (’06), Joe Namath (‘85), Clarence (Ace) Parker (’72), Fran Tarkenton (’86), Y.A. Tittle (’71), Charley Trippi (’68). Joe Montana (’00) (second half) For Tom Brady: (2½ votes) Terry Bradshaw (’89), John Elway (’04), Joe Montana (first half) Abstain: Dan Marino (’05), Bart Starr (’77), Roger Staubach (’85), Steve Young (’05) http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/33937274/ns/sports-nfl/ |
Titans beat colts will not happen unless the colts lose another big player like manning, wayne or clark. Looking at the Titans last 3 wins, except for the Jags that they beat playing at home, the likes of SF and Bills are not acid tests. Next week against Houston will be the a better measure of if they are back. Young's best option is to play in a team with a good running game. Tennessee is his best option. He is too inexperienced to be on the same team with TO. @Doyin There is no forward progress untill you have control of the ball. Faulk didnt have control of the ball beyond the line. Going for it on 4th and 2 on your own 28yd was a blunder. After the initial ravaging in the first 5 drives in which the Pats scored on 4 of 5 drives, the Colts defence made adjustments and were getting stops. In the subsequent 10 drives (of which 2 were end of half), Brady and co could only score on 2 drives; one TD from a great field position courtesy of wes walker, and the other a FG after a Manning INT. The Colts offence had several opportunities to get back in the game but struggles to do so cos manning was playing badly and the pats defence was holding up. He should have punted the ball and let manning march them down from his own half. Belichick denied his team a win that they deserved If they meet again this season (with same set of players), the colts would likely give them a good beating, cos they lost to a colts team that overall played badly. Next is flacco and the Ravens. Colts 10-0 ![]() |
Pats 34 -35 Colts! Are you not entertained? ![]() That was a great game that lived up to its billing, and was nothing like the boring field goal festival the Steelers and Bengals gave us earlier. Firstly, kudos to the Pats players for a great game, both offensively and defensively. As expected, when given time in the pocket, Brady shredded the Colts weakened secondary. Unfortunately, the Pats O-line didnt hold up in the second half, and the colts were able to get more pressure on brady. The Colt's defence were able to stop the hemorrhaging, limiting them to field goals and getting a few key stops. Belichick was bent on taking away Clark from the Colts by doubling on him, and instead left 3 linemen at the scrimmage, daring them to run the ball. The colts obliged and ran for an average of 5.1 per carry (compared to their season average of 3.7yds). The colts rookie WRs were initially overwhelmed by the occasion but made big plays down the stretch Manning was unimpressive for most part but came thru when it mattered most. He made a lot of bad throws during the game. Reggie is the best WR in the league, bar none! Lastly, I would like to give a shout out to that arrogant 'basterd' belichick. Who, out of sheer arrogance, went for it on 4th and 2 on his own 28yd line. The right call was to punt the ball and let manning earn his pay. @rikky Party full ground o! I don tell dem to cordon of my street for an all night gbedu ![]() Colts 9-0 Dare we talk about unbeaten? |
Bengals 18-12 Steelers: The Bengals do the double over both Ravens and Steelers. It was the most 'entertaining' game I had seen in weeks; Not a single offensive touchdown! 4 field goals each, and Bengals won by a lone kick-off return Bills 17-41 Titans : Young wins his 3rd straight game, and leaves one wondering if it would have made a difference if he had come in for Collins earlier in the season. Broncos 17 -27 Shitskins: Denver join NY in the 'good start, bad slump' cabin. A win for the chargers against the eagles will leave both teams at 6-3, reigniting the AFC west title race. |
Chicago definitely got raped in the Cutler, particularly since the cry baby wanted out. Kyle Orton + a late draft pick should have sufficed. The boy has got talent, but needs some proper coaching on game management and reading the defence. Like Romo, he relies too much on his limbs, but not enough on his head. |
Cutler with 5 INTs: @SF 1, @SF 49, @SF 43, @SF 47, and SF 12! ![]() and he was doing well on the final drive. |

) will be starting against the Chargers. Given the guy's performance against the Shitskins, its not looking good for Denver. If Chargers win, they would have 1 game lead on Denver, (while a Denver win would essentially give them a 1.5 game lead.)
