Strange, I've upgraded to 6.0 but have not experienced a single one of these points mentioned- but then my Moto G3 offers stock Android, mostly. I strongly believe a whole lot of these problems are as a result of the heavy UIs manufacturers rush to 'cover' the stock Android OS with.

I drive an '03 focus estate. It has an automatic tranny - and a pretty solid one at that. I however think the manual tranny should be more robust. What I can confirm however is that the manual is a joy to use, that's if you are the 'manual' type.

The Focus is an astounding but underrated little car- in its , non-adulterated state. There's good reason it ranked 7th best in "Top Gear's 50 Greatest Cars for the past 20 years."

I dunno why the tecno fanboys are attacking OP over his comment- even when it favors them! If anything, those selling are probably taking advantage of the high demand and marking up the prices to get some extra cash to buy petrol.

3rd picture of this nature I've seen on this forum: and they all seem to be VW Passats. Is there any special reason for omitting the fourth tire?

Exactly! Its also known as the distributer cap. Funny thing, that's what happened to me as well. The first time my engine lost power was when I was merging onto a highway- with an 18-wheeler barreling down the lane I just merged onto! That was one of my scariest driving experiences ever.

Anyways I think you should be good, now that you have gazzuzz on ur case. That's a guy that knows his onions.

Yes, I'm referring to the spark plug wires as well as that thing they all seem to connect to. Is that the coil you are referring to?

It must be something in Naija - either the bad roads, the poor maintenance culture or the witches in the village . I'm not in Nigeria and I have never seen a Honda with a caved in tire, NEVER. I've seen a couple of Toyotas, especially the late 1990s early 2000 Tacomas and 4-runners, as well as a whole lot of Volkswagens, especially 1990s Passats with the issue, but never a Honda.

I always thought Honda's Achilles's heel were their crappy auto transmissions- at least during the late 90s to mid 2000s

My husband has a Carina e XLI. Served for years and ha gone for even up to a year without a need for the mechanic but its parked now.

Started jerking and we tried several solution without success. The mechs or electrician will just come an assure that its a small thing, collect money an daftwr repairing, the car would still jerk. He bought new spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, changed a working fuel pump, and injector nozzles still no change. I would just start jerking especially when the car ha warmed. I know it has o do with with how the can deals with temperator anndhence an electrical fault but that's as far as my mech orientation would take me.

Have you experienced this before o know anyone with solution in Lagos? He's not a nairalander els I'd have told him to create a thread. Thankss

Have you changed the coil pack or wires? That part seems to escape mechanics. Had a similar problem years ago-mech recommended I change spark plugs. Nothing changed. Then they recommended I clean my entire fuel system- a procedure so arduous that I quickly turned it down and looked for alternatives on my own I figured it would be the coil pack after a few minutes of Internet wandering - I dashed to Suame Magazine (Ghana's version of Ladipo) and got a new coil pack- car has been running great for years now.

Hmm.. not considering routine maintenance, my most recent wahala was last June- bad AC compressor attributed to bad pulley which was changed...I kinda regret not changing the entire compressor unit though, as the AC has started blowing hot air now.

Oh, my ride is a 2003 Ford Focus Wagon.

Consumers always pay for advertising, because at that point it's no longer just the product you're paying for, but also, the brand personality as well. I have taken my time here today because I've seen the hate most of you launch at Tecno products and it is very appalling.

Well, my 2015 Motorola G3, as well as my cousin's 2014 Motorola G2 have both received 6.0 updates - in January and March respectively - heck, 6.0.1 is already rolling out for the G3. The G3 goes for thirty thousand and something Naira... and has all the specs the J8 has, with waterproofing to boot.

U gotta hand it to the motion photos of the J8 though....that's one fine camera there.

The first and second gen Explorers - particularly notorious for rollovers were body-on-frame, much like the ill fated Lexus. The newer Explorers adopt a more 'unibody' architecture, as you rightly hinted.

However, I also feel most of our Nigerian brethren think sitting behind the wheel of any contraption with a v8- or even a v6 under the hood gives them the right to race said vehicle as if it were a sports car! When it comes to making a quick manuver things go south- and they end up blaming the old lady at home.

From the pics, your Mech must've been moving pretty darn fast- or your car must've had some frame and/or intensive body work done. You might wanna consider scrapping it at this point.

We should be thankful the Mech got away with little to no injuries though- I'd advise you forgive him, but as someone earlier said don't be found anywhere within a 5mile radius of his workshop, should you buy a new car

Helllo guys! I just upgraded to marshmallow. I promptly used its new feature to adopt sd card as internal storage- only to realise it works best with a high speed class 10 sd. My present one is only a class 4 so apps on it lag considerably.

I went out to town to buy a class 10 and came across this sandisk sd card ( pictures below) which the fellow in the shop claims is a class 10. Looks pretty legit to me though....could it be fake?

My Motorola moto g3 takes FOREVER to charge....not too much of a problem though, as the battery lasts days.

Oh, and android marshmallow requires a class 10 card before the phone adopts it as internal storage- just after I went out to buy a 16gb class 4
