Op, you might wanna do something about that lean fuel issue popping up. My Chevy Suburban got roughly 15mpg mixed...I have even calculated 20mpg at times- and that truck had a 5.7l V8! The only times I got a mpg in the 10s or single digits were when I had a 30 foot + Airstream trailer in tow.

But then, your low mpg could be other factors such as driving habit ( I'm really stingy on the gas pedal).

I'd advise you do look into it asap though-that 6mpg penalty will add up...quickly.

Most detergents like OMO...etc are pretty harsh on the car's paint. I have since been using plain water to wipe mine up for 3 years and i still see my scary face peering back at me through the bodywork!

wow, would really love to see a 16v 190e in pristine condition. That would be an experience, those cars sell for about 8000 pounds on the average now, if they are low mileage. I believe they a truly special cars, even with today's tech advancement, you would hardly get a 4 cylinder car pushing on 200hp, with a sub 8s 100km time. and yet it was not a turbo charged engine, and it did not have a supercharger like the kompressors. Cosworth really knew what they were about.
I actually bought a 16v here in Nigeria, that was imported by the original owner from Germany. however it had been raped when I got it, those that handled the sale didn't even know about the getrag gear with the lower left 1st gear. Still it could humiliate many fancy new model sedans on the highway. It was however using a lot of oil, and fuel economy was also high. I had to scrap the engine after it got permanently damaged by our guys here during a rebuild. Still, if I see a clean 16v engine, I would snap it up quickly, and place it back in the lonely chasis of the 16v. helluva car, that car. Not like some famous Japanese sport badged sedan, only with sports body kit, making less than 140hp, comedians.

Darn, I wish I was in Nigeria! would have totally brought my Focus to have its fan's direct wiring fixed up+ that hideous dent on my front fender. The mechs around here seem to have no idea how to do it-always keep on saying I need a temp sensor...something I know the car already has.

GO ONLINE, CHECK THE CCA RATING OF THE STANDARD/FOLO COME BATTERY FOR UR CAR...THEN WHEN U go market,, ensure the cca of the batt u r buying is at least upto the cca of the factory battery, gobe are the days when people buy batts based on only 12v 70amp/60amp etc......

rca = reserve capacity amps ...ensure this is above 125mins
