My brother, the worst thing that befalls us as Christians is hypocrisy. Feeling that we're alright when we know that we're not. It's even worse among the clergy because the Christian principle says that a man must remove the log in his eyes before removing speck from their brother's. Today, we have millions of preachers whose lives have not been made right before Jesus covering up with so-called service to God. In reality, the way it is in the physical should be how it is in the spiritual. A child should not give birth to a child and so become a parent. So when you know that you have not sat with Jesus and be delivered from your own sin, as you said in this case, selfishness and shrewdness, to the point of obeying the Lord, becoming a preacher is calamitous. No wonder Jesus said that the harvest indeed is plentiful but the laborers are few. The quality of preaching in today's church has been watered down because the preachers themselves are not obedient to Jesus. That's why Christianity barely exists from Mondays to Saturdays.

Hmmm... It's amazing how people lose goodwill because of their belle. This man used to be one of the most respectable clergy in this country before he dabbled into politics. He badly exposed his weaknesses. That's why I tell Yoruba to be wary that their belle do not put them in trouble. The hatred that this man exhibited for Jonathan, a Christian is appalling. I million man march ... Today, with Buhari's government doing much more worse evil, he has lost the will to criticize and protest. No wonder Jesus said that many will tell Him on that day, did we not do this and do that in your name, but He will tell them "Depart from Me. Ye that work iniquity" To me, that Jonathan is a Christian is reason why no Christian should have supported a known Jihadist. Unfortunately, even Christians proved to be the most ignorant. Now, you practically have to fight for your lives as tribes and ethnic groups to avoid annihilation. Thanks to blind Christians of Nigeria. By the way, the only Yoruba pastor that proved he is different id that Winners Chapel man. May God bless hem and many others like him. The christians in Adamawa must be a special breed for that state not to be among the states that imposed Sharia law in the north. May be it was because a Christian was their governor at the time the sharia fever was sweeping the north. God really saved that state from fulani agenda.

I wish I could like your comment a billion times. I used to judge my neighbour until I heard her story. She couldn't further her education because her parents are poor. At 20, she moved to the city and started fending for herself. Sometimes, her mum would call her and plead with her to buy something when sh is coming to the village for a visit. They don't really care how she makes money. They just want her to provide for them.

I presently teach in a private school. The job is not a easy job at all. I am also planning to leave the school by the end of this term to go see how I can do other things with my life. When one is too comfortable in teaching in a private school, that person is already in a deep soup without knowing. It is better if is a government school.
